Cheerful Daisies

Hello friends,

The Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161296) has been used for the flower & leaves on this card.

The flower is a Two-Step stamp. I stamped the outside with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and the inside the petals with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666). The flower centre was also stamped with Daffodil Delight. The flower and the leaves were cut with the Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making these fine leaves easy to attach to the card.

I coloured a piece of Vellum (#106584) using Blending Brushes (#153611) with Lemon Lolly ink, Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Balmy Blue ink (#147105) and Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). I then dry embossed the vellum with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders (#159170). I attached this to a piece of Basic White card, then to Daffodil Delight card (#121680), then to the Basic White base card. The reason I attached the vellum to the white card was to see the colours better.

“Thinking Of You” from The Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and cut with a Something Fancy Die (#160424). The sentiment & flower were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I added the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels (#158987) to the card and used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add the shimmer to the flower.

TIP: When I attach the vellum to the card I always ensure I use adhesive only under areas which can’t be seen as it will show through the vellum. I used tape under the flower & sentiment and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) under the embellishments.

Cheerful Daisies

Hi stamping friends,

The background on todays card is from the beautiful Holographic Trio 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#161744) and have used Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) with an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask (#159178) to add the design & texture to half of the card front.

This paste doesn't take long to dry but I set it aside while I stamped and cut all the other pieces. To apply the paste I used a Palette Knife (#142808) and scraped it over the mask. The knife & mask needs to be washed as soon as possible so the paste doesn't set on the utensils.

The flowers from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) were stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) for the outline. The inside was stamped with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611) and I used Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) for the flower centres. The flowers and leaves were all cut with the Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296). I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the leaves.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink then I cut it with a Crackers & Treat Box die (#159182). The flowers & sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is Basic White (#159228).

Cheerful Daisies

Hello friends,

These flowers are from the Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161297).

The 3 flowers and leaves all cut out with one die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies (#161296). I cut one from Lemon Lolly card (#161729) and the other from Basic White card (#159228). I stamped each flower with the matching images from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) on the white cut out flowers with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666). The flower centres were coloured with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) using a Sponge Dauber (#133773) and I added Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) lightly to the leaves.

I used a Blending Brush (#153611) with Lemon Lolly ink and an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask (#159178) on a piece of Basic White card for a very subtle background. This was then cut with a Darling Details Die (#161370). This was attached to the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) which I dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (161598). The base card is Basic White.

I attached the 2 layers of flowers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683), offsetting the flowers slightly. The sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink, then cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The trio of Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300) were added to finish the card.

Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection

Hi everyone,

A pretty card using the Fresh As A Daisy Suite Collection (#161301).

The Designer Series Paper is Fresh As A Daisy (#161289). I used a die from the Scalloped Contours (#155560) to cut a piece from the middle of the DSP. Then I cut the Azure Afternoon card (#161728) with the next size die and taped these together. I matted the DSP with Azure Afternoon card and wrapped the Azure Afternoon Ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (#161635) around the card front.

The daisies are from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto Vellum (#106584). These were embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The sentiment, also from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set, was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink (#161663). The daisies and sentiment were cut with the Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296) then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300) were added to the flower centres and top corner of the card.

Cheerful Daisies

Hello friends,

I’m loving the new Delightful Doily Hybrid Embossing Folder (#161286) which also includes dies which can be used together or separately.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Delightful Doily Embossing Folder. I then cut the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper (#161744) with one of the dies then embossed it with the embossing folder. I had Adhesive Sheet (152334) on the back of the Holographic Paper before cutting, so this was then attached to the card front.

The daisies were stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) for the outline, Bubble Bath ink (#161664) for the inside and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) for the centres. The daisies were cut with the Cheerful Daisies Dies (#161296).The Leaves were also cut with these dies and I used Granny Apple Green card (#147014) also backed with Adhesive Sheet.

“Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say Dies (#161594) using Berry Burst card (#144249) and Bubble Bath card (#161727). The sentiment & 2 flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the other flower. The gems are from the Tinsel Gems Four Pack (#161623).

Countryside Corners with Cheerful Daisies

Hello again,

I am using some of the new colours on the card today, along with 2 of the new bundles.

The Basic White base card (#159228) was dry embossed with one of the Basic 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I then stamped using Moody Mauve ink (#161649) on another piece of Basic White card using the Countryside Corners stamp (#161468). This was cut with 2 of the Countryside Corners Dies (#161471) to create the “frame” and this was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The daisies were cut with the Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296). For the base piece of the daisies I used Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237), followed by Pretty Peacock card (#150886). The colours for the top layer are Bubble Bath card (#161727), Azure Afternoon card (#161728) and Lemon Lolly card (#161729). For the fine leaves I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the layers of the flowers together and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the flowers to the card.

The sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set was stamped with Moody Mauve ink and cut with the smallest die from the Countryside Corners. The Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300) were added to the card.

More Cheerful Daisies

Hello friends,

I seem to have lots of cards with the Cheerful Daisies but this was one of the sets I could get early (as a demonstrator) and I made them before I came away. I have lots of new products waiting for my return home next week so can’t wait to play with those.

One of the pages of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper (#161289) has a variety of designs suitable for card fronts. This bright & cheerful design is one of them. It was matted with Azure Afternoon card (#161728) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The daisies from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) were stamped with Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708), then stamped to colour the inside of the petals with Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) and Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) which was stamped off first. The centres of the flowers were stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094).

The leaves were cut with a die from the Cheerful Daisies (#161296) and I used Pretty Peacock card (#150886). The gold strip of Fine Shimmer Paper (retired) was cut with a die from the Beautiful Balloons dies (#161456) and taped to the card front.

The sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink. A die also from the Cheerful Daisies was used to cut the sentiment.

The flowers and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making them easy to adhere to the card. The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300).

Cheerful Daisies Suite Collection

Hi my friends,

Today I am highlighting 2 of the new 2023-2025 In colors. They are Moody Mauve and Wild Wheat.

I cut the detailed border with an Elegant Border Die (#161593) from Moody Mauve card (#161732). This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). I taped a small strip of the Wild Wheat card (#161734) to the edge of the Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper (#161289) and attached this to the base card.

The outline of the flowers from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) were stamped with Moody Mauve ink (#161649). I used the Stamping off method to add the colour to the inside of the petals with the same colour ink. The flower centres were stamped with Wild Wheat ink (#161651). “Thanks” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Moody Mauve ink.

The daisies & sentiment were cut with Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296). The Moody Mauve card under the flowers & sentiment was cut with a Radiating Stitches Die (#161595). One daisy was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) & the other daisy & the sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the petals for that little shimmer. The embellishments are from the Classic Matte Dots (#158146).

Cheerful Daisies

Hi stamping friends,

The Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161297) has been used on todays card. The bundle consists of the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) and the Cheerful Daisies Dies (#167297). It is so much easier knowing which stamp set and dies are in a bundle when they have the same name. Thanks Stampin’ Up!

The outline of the daisies were stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and I coloured them with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675). I used Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) to stamp the centres. These were cut with the co-ordinating dies.

The fine leaves at the top of the card were cut from Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and the other leaves from Lost Lagoon card (#133686). I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of both these.

“Thank You” is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set (#161521) and this was stamped with Berry Burst ink. A Timeless Arrangements Die (#161525) was used to cut the sentiment.

I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) with one of the Basic 3D Embossing Folders (#161598) and this was matted with the Berry Burst card (#144249). The Base card is also Very Vanilla.

The leaves were attached to the card front. The daisies and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was applied to the petals and flower centres for a touch of shimmer. The embellishments are the Adhesive -Backed Solid Gems (#161300).
