Cheerful Daisies

Hello stamping friends,

A lovely bright & cheerful card using the Cheerful Daisies Bundle (#161297).

I cut the daisies from the Cheerful Daisies dies (#161296) using Basic White card (#159228) and Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). I stamped the daisies from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (#161290) with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) and Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052). I attached the stamped daisies to the Gold Foil daisies with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) and offsetting them to see some of the Gold Foil. I cut the leaves off the stamped daisies.

I cut the Basic White card front with an Around The Bend die (#160649), then I embossed this with the Splatters from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (#157980). This was taped to the Azure Afternoon from the White Centre Specialty Paper (#161748), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283). This will be available from 6th September in the upcoming mini catalogue. I used Azure Afternoon ink, then cut it with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). The sentiment & flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to finish the card.

Happiness Abounds stamp set

Hi again my friends,

By the time you see this, the new Annual catalogue should be live. There are so many awesome new products available as well as many of the favourites carrying over from the previous catalogue. I have already made a number of cards using the beautiful flowers from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (#159238) and the co-ordinating Blossoming Happiness Dies (#158823) which of course are available together in the Happiness Abounds Bundle (#158824).

I stamped the flowers with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were then cut with a die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies. The flowers were coloured with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887) and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518). I also used the Color Lifter (#144608) to remove some of the colour for more depth on the lighter flower.

The slots were cut in the Basic White card (#159228) using another die from the Blossoming Happiness dies, then I dry embossed the card with the Stripes from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (#157980). This was matted with Highland Heather card (#147010), then attached to the Basic White base card.

I backed the Gold Foil (#132622) with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting the leaves with an Artistic Die (#155371). This was attached to the cardfront. The flowers were attached using Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The gold trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766).

“Best Wishes” is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103), then cut with a Sending Die (#159271). This was attached using the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

PLEASE NOTE: From 3rd May 2022 you can only order from the new 2022-2023 Annual catalogue and the January-June 2022 Mini catalogue. The mini catalogue is still available till 30th June 2022.

Brilliant Wings Dies

Hello friends,

The Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523) has a variety of butterflies and the butterfly here is cut with one of these dies.

I used the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784) for the butterfly. I stamped the verse & the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) onto the Basic White card front (#159228).  I used Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the verse & Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the leaves. Then using a Blending Brush (#153611) I coloured the right side of the card front with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I dry embossed the left side with the Stripes from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980). The card front was matted with Granny Apple Green card (#147014), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Special Moments stamp set (from saleabration) and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink. I cut this with a Tailor Made Tags die (#155563). The gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the tag. The sentiment and butterfly was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Being a butterfly lover I couldn’t resist adding the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) to finish the card.

Beautiful Shapes Dies

Hello crafty friends,

I am sure you are all like me and have lots of bits and pieces of designer papers that we just don't want to throw out as we may be able to use them on a project some day. Well this card is using bits and pieces and cut with the Beautiful Shapes dies (#158046).

The Expressions In Ink 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#155464) was used for the card front and was also cut with one of the Hexagon dies from the Beautiful Shapes dies. I used the Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Cardstock (#153524) and the pink card from the Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (#158068) to cut the other hexagons.

The Basic White card (#159228) was dry embossed with the splatters from the  Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (#157980) and attached to the DSP. The hexagons were attached to the card. “Happy Birthday” is from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) and stamped with Magenta Madness ink (#153117). A die from the Bloom Dies (#155989) was used to cut the sentiment and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193).

TIP: You could use any shapes for this card. Just have a play with what you have and with various designer papers for a unique look.
