Two-Tone Flora

Hello again my stamping friends,

The Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) is a Two-step stamp set which allows you to create beautiful images in 2 simple steps.

The flowers were stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216) and Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I stamped the outline, then using the stamping off method to get a lighter colour I stamped the second image to give you the 2 tones of colour. The leaves from the same stamp set were stamped with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). The flowers & leaves were cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181).

I cut a piece of Basic White card (#159228) with one of the Elegant Borders Dies (#161593), then dry embossed it with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder (#158655).

I attached a piece of the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237) to the Basic White base card then attached the die cut & embossed card on top.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink and cut with a Tailor Made Tags die (#155563). I attached the sentiment, flowers and leaves with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add sparkle to the flowers and the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card.

Around The Bend

Hi again everyone,

The Around The Bend bundle (#160650) is one of the products used on todays card.

I stamped the line & dots from the Around The Bend stamp set (#160853) onto Basic White card (#159228) with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210). The scallops were cut with a die from the Around The Bend dies (#160649). I then stamped the corner floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set (#160513) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). This image was coloured with Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends (#159221), Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends (#159220) and Daffodil Delight (#154883). This white card was attached to the Dry Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160837). I matted this with Tahitian Tide card (#159262) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink and a die from the Tailor Made Tags (#155563) was used to cut this. I threaded the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the tag and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The flower, flower centre, leaves and hearts are all cut with the Around The Bend dies. I used Tahitian Tide card for the flower & hearts and Gold Fine Shimmer Paper  (#160428) for the leaves and flower centre. The leaves & hearts had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back before cutting with the dies.

I added the White Pearlized Enamel Effects (#156310) to the hearts. This does take a bit of time to dry so best to do this last and put the card aside to dry.

Nested Friends

Hi stamping friends,

These cute little birds are from the Nested Friends stamp set (#160322) which are part of the Nested Friends Bundle (#160489).

I stamped the birds with Balmy Blue ink (#147105), Fresh Freesia ink (#155611) and Pale Papaya ink (#155670). They were then coloured with co-ordinating Stampin’ Blends - Balmy Blue (#154830), Fresh Freesia (#155518) & Pale Papaya (#155519). The branch from the same stamp set was stamped with Granny Apple Gree ink (#147095) and the leaves coloured with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885).

The birds, branch & small leaves from Granny Apple Green card (#147014) were all cut with the Nested Friends dies (#160488).

I punched the corners of the Granny Apple Green card and the Vellum Basics 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160839) with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878), then attached these to the Basic White base card (#159228). 

The small leaves had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back for ease of attaching these to the card. The branch was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the birds with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Thank You” is from the Nested Friends stamp set and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink. A Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563) was used to cut the sentiment, then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the tag.

TIP: When attaching the vellum to the card, only use adhesive where it will be hidden as it will show through. I find the easiest way is to attach all the elements to the vellum first, then you can see on the back of the vellum where to add the adhesive. I then attached adhesive under the small leaves, the branch, birds & sentiment.

Brilliant Wings Dies

Hello friends,

The Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523) has a variety of butterflies and the butterfly here is cut with one of these dies.

I used the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784) for the butterfly. I stamped the verse & the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) onto the Basic White card front (#159228).  I used Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the verse & Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the leaves. Then using a Blending Brush (#153611) I coloured the right side of the card front with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I dry embossed the left side with the Stripes from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980). The card front was matted with Granny Apple Green card (#147014), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Special Moments stamp set (from saleabration) and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink. I cut this with a Tailor Made Tags die (#155563). The gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the tag. The sentiment and butterfly was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Being a butterfly lover I couldn’t resist adding the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) to finish the card.

Daffodil Dies

Hello my friends,

These daffodils were made using the Daffodil Dies (#157794). There are 24 dies in this set which may seem a bit daunting when you first see them but there are 2 of each of some of the dies and then there are 2 layers for many of the dies. There are also stems, leaves and small butterflies, so a great variety of dies.

The dies shown have the base of the petals/flowers above the co-ordinating detailed dies, so you can see which ones match. 

I cut the solid pieces of the flowers & petals from Daffodil Delight card (#121680) and the top layer from Crushed Curry card (#131288) which had been backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting with the dies. I assembled the flowers with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I cut the leaves and stems using Mossy Meadow card (#133683) also using the Daffodil Dies. These also had Adhesive Sheets adhered to the back.

I stamped the “splatters” from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set (#157786) onto a piece of the Abstract Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158039) using Mint Macaron ink (#147106). I matted the DSP with Crushed Curry card and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Hugs” was cut with the Layering Hugs Dies (#144860) from Crushed Curry card. The tag was cut with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies (#155563) from Daffodil Delight card. I threaded the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the tag then this was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) on the detailed die cuts of the flowers. The cute little Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card.

TIP: Adhesive sheets adhered to the back of the card before cutting with detailed dies makes it so easy to attach the detailed cutouts to the card.

Angels Of Peace

Hello again my friends,

There are 2 angels in the Angels Of Peace stamp set (#156365) and I love that they can be just stamped or can be coloured. I have chosen to gold emboss this cute little angel.

So I stamped the angel and star with VersaMark (#102283) and used Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set these with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then cut with a Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563). “Merry” & “Christmas” are from the Bright Baubles stamp set (#156350) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083).

The Gold Shimmer Vellum (#156471) was dry embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). I then adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of this vellum and attached it to a piece of Basic White card (#159228), then it was matted with the Cherry Cobbler card (#121681). The reason I didn’t attach it directly to the Cherry Cobbler card was because it would have changed the  colour to the Gold Vellum. The Simply Elegant Specialty DSP (#155761) was attached to the card front. The base card is Basic White (#159228)

The Gold Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached to the card and the tag. The Gold Holly Leaves (#156311) were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Tag was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the sentiment with the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Cherry Cobbler gem from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) was attached to the centre of the star.

Free As A BIrd

Hello & welcome,

These cute little birds are from The Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) and I have coloured the image with Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the birds with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour are Pale Papaya (#155519), Pool Party (#154894), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Crumb Cake (#154882), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Poppy Parade (#154958) and Pumpkin Pie (#154897). This was then cut with a Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563).

I embossed the Basic White card front with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725) and attached a triangle of the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (#155426) to the card. I cut a piece of Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with a die from the Stitched Triangles (#152710) and attached this to the corner of the “tag”.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283). This was heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A Stitched Rectangles die (#151820) was used to cut the sentiment. I threaded the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the tag and attached this and the sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The diamond shaped embellishments are from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials (#155567) and I coloured these with the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends before attaching them to the card.

Expressions In Ink

Hello my friends,

I just adore the Expressions In Ink suite (#155459) with the gorgeous Specialty Designer Series Paper, stamp set and dies.

The base card and card front are Basic White (#159228). I Embossed the card front with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428) and daubered the edges with Polished Pink ink (#155712). The Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (#155464) was attached to the Polished Pink card (#155711), then attached to the cardfront.

I used the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) to cut the detailed floral piece using a die from the Artistic Dies (#155371). I had adhered a piece of Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Gold Foil Sheet and Shaded Spruce card (#147006) before cutting with the dies. The Shaded Spruce leaves are cut with a die from the Blooms Dies (#155989).

The sentiment is from the Elegantly Said stamp set (#155095) and stamped with Polished Pink ink. A Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563) was used to cut the sentiment. I used the Gold Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) to add to the tag and a cute little bee from the Bumblebee Trinkets (#155568) was attached with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The tag was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
