Forever & Always Bundle

Welcome again my friends,

I’m having a break from the retiring products today, although the Designer Series Paper, Oval dies and ribbon are retiring.

The Designer Series Paper is Artistry Blooms (#152495). The detailed die cut was cut using the Flowering Vine Dies (#154332) from Basic White card (#159228). This was glued to the DSP with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I wrapped the Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon (#144213) around the card front, then attached the card front to the Basic White card base.

The flowers from the Forever & Always stamp set (#154343) were stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094), Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and Highland Heather ink (#147103). These were cut with the co-ordinating Always Dies (#154307).

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). I cut the ovals using the Layering Ovals Dies (#151771). The sentiment and the yellow & mauve flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) was used to add glitter to the flowers. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to finish the card.

Have a great weekend.

Masking Technique

Hi friends,

Here’s a technique which is easy to do but looks effective. It’s called the Masking Technique.

This technique allows you to stamp a variety of images which look like they overlap and not stamping over each other. On this card I stamped the smaller flower with Melon Mambo ink (#147051) onto the Basic White card (#1591228). I then stamped this flower onto a Post-it-note and cut the image very close to the lines. I then placed this over the stamped image on the card. I stamped the larger flower using Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) as shown below.

When the post-it-note is removed you get the image of the 2 flowers, one in front of the other.

I also stamped 2 of the larger flowers on the post-it-notes and continued stamping on the card with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and Real Red ink (#147084), covering each stamped image to prevent stamping over the flowers on the card. These flowers are from the Forever & Always stamp set (#154343). The leaves are from the Forever Fern stamp set (#152559) and stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104), also using the masking technique.

I added some colour to the flowers with Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends (#154896), Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends (#154893), Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends (#154958) and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends (#154905). Then I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to add glitter to the flowers.

The stitching on the card front was achieved with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314). The sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink, then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). The edges of the card front and sentiment were also daubered with Gorgeous Grape ink. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attached the sentiment to the card.
The trio of embellishments are from the Pastel Pearls (#154571).

Have a great day!!

Forever & Always Bundle

Hi again my friends,

Here’s a lovely bright and vibrant birthday card using the Forever & Always stamp set (#154343) for the flowers.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were stamped on Pacific Point card (#116202), Poppy Parade card (#154958) and Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). They were then cut with the Always Dies (#154307).
The leaf is from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#152493). This is gold on one side and white on the reverse. I coloured the white side by daubering with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104). I dry embossed the Basic White (#159228) card front with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). The edge of the card front was daubered with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The leaf was attached to the card front with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (#152475) was attached to the card and the flowers were attached with StampinDimensionals (#104430).
“Happy Birthday” is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) and stamped with Poppy Parade ink, then cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690). The Gilded Gems (#152478) were added to the card.

I hope your day has been a fantastic one.

Forever & Always

Hello again,

I guess I should have made this card yesterday for Valentine’s Day but there is no reason why you couldn’t give it to that special person anytime.

The base card is Basic White (#159228). I dry embossed another piece of Basic White using one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders (#153126) and sponged the edges with Rococo Rose ink (#150080), then attached this to the base card. I also dry embossed a piece of the Rococo Rose from Love You Always Foil Sheet (#154286). I cut another piece of Basic White card with a die from the Ornate Layers Dies (#152726). The Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (#154280) was also cut with a die from the Ornate Layers, and attached to the White die cut.
The flowers are from the Forever & Always stamp set (#154343) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were coloured with Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends (#154900). The flowers and “love” were cut with Always Dies (#154307). I had attached Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Basic Black card (#121688) before cutting “love” with the die. The larger flower was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I brushed the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter (#141897) over the flowers.

I hope your day has been great!!
