Pansy Dies

Hello & welcome again,

I am loving these Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177) for any occasion, not just Christmas.

It’s been a longtime since I have used the Pansy dies (#155680) so decided to use them for this card. For the flower I used Highland Heather card (#147010), Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and Crushed Curry card (#131288). For the leaves I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) and Pretty Peacock card (#150886).

I cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and the Basic White card (#159228) with dies from the Scalloped Contours (#155560) and taped these to the Brushed Gold card. The pansy was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The centre of the pansy was also cut with the dies using Gold Foil.

“Congratulations” is from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (#161158). This was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Cracker & Treat Box die (#159182), then attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Blooming Pearls (#162238).

Pansy Patch

Hello friends,

For the cards today I have 3 colour combinations and used 3 different dies from the Elegant Borders Dies (#161593).

The card fronts are Orchid Oasis (#159265), Berry Burst (#144249) and Gorgeous Grape (#147011). I cut the Basic White card (#159228) with the Elegant Borders Dies, For the third card I cut the top & bottom. I then dry embossed each card with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D Embossing Folders (#159170). The coloured cards and white cards were taped together then attached to the Basic White base card.

The Pansy dies (#155680) were used to cut the pansies and leaves. For the first card I used the following cardstock - Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky (#159264), Daffodil Delight (#121680) & Rich Razzleberry (now retired), Garden Green (#108605) and Pear Pizzaz (retired).
For the second card I used Berry Burst (#144249), Bubble Bath (#161727), Granny Apple Green (#147014) and Parakeet Party (#159260).
The 3rd card is Highland Heather (#147010), Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lolly (#161729), Pretty Peacock (#150886) and Lost Lagoon (#133686).

I used Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the more detailed pieces making it easy to put these flowers together. I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the petals together. The flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue dots for the leaves.

The Silver Trim from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) were also attached with Mini Glue Dots.

All the sentiments are from my favourite stamp set - Go To Greetings (#158763) and stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214), Berry Burst ink (#147143) and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The dies to cut the sentiments are from the Waves Dies (#158840) - (for card 1 & 2) and Give It A Whirl Dies (#154336). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the sentiments.

Pansy Patch Bundle

Hello stampers,

The Pansy Patch Bundle (#155674) consists of the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) and the Pansy Dies (#155680). As usual a bundle means you will save 10% and you will find this continues as a bundle in the next Annual catalogue.

All the pansies are stamped with the Pansy Patch stamp set. This is a Two-step stamp set which allows you to stamp with 2 colours. The purple pansy on the left was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and Highland Heather ink (#147103). The other flowers were stamped with the same ink for each flower but using the stamping off method to achieve the lighter colour. The inks used are Daffodil Delight (#147094). Polished Pink (#155712) and Rich Razzleberry (#147091).

The Pansy dies were used to cut the pansies and the leaves. For the leaves I used Soft Succulent card (#155777) and Evening Evergreen card (#155575).

I dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). The check DSP from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (#155807) was attached to the White card, then this was matted with Evening Evergreen card. The base card is Basic White.

The leaves and the pansies on the left & right were taped to the card, and the other pansies were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Happy Birthday” from the Pansy Patch stamp set was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with a Sweet Hearts Die (#157623). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I added some shimmer to the pansies with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) and the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the centre of the pansies.

TIP: When stamping the pansies I found it easier to stamp the darker image first and it was then much easier to line up the second image.

Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone,

There are many designer papers that co-ordinate with dies which allows you to cut images from the DSP with a die. The Pansy Petal 12’x12” Designer Series Paper (#155807) has some images that can be cut with the Pansy dies (#155680).

The 3 pansies were cut with the co-ordinating dies. The leaves were cut and embossed with another die using Soft Succulent card (#155777).  I used the banner die from the Bloom dies (#155989) to cut the 3 pieces of DSP, also from the Pansy Petal DSP.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder (#157627) and the edges were daubered with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves, banners and purple pansy were taped to the card. The other 2 pansies were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Happy Birthday” is from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999), and stamped with Soft Succulent ink. I used the Messages Die (#154422) to cut the sentiment. The Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (#155780) was attached under the sentiment. The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Genial Gems (#155500) include 2 colours and I used the Pale Papaya gems on the flowers & the Mint Macaron gems on the sentiment and card front.

Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hello,

The Pansy Petals Suite (#155810) includes the Pansy Patch Bundle (#155674), Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (#155807) and the Bumblebee Trinkets (#155568), and they were all used to make this card.

I stamped “happy” using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and “birthday” with Bumblebee ink (#153116). These greetings are from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052).

I cut the scallops on the Bumblebee card (#153082) using a die from the Penned Flowers (#155557). This was attached to the DSP from the Pansy Petals DSP and these were attached to the Bumblebee cardfront. The base card is Basic White (#159228).

I stamped the pansies from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) using Bumblebee ink and Calypso Coral ink (#147101). I “stamped off” to get the lighter colour of yellow on the pansy.

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach one of the flowers to the card and the other was taped. Holiday Rhinestones (#150457) were added to the centre of the pansies and a Bumblebee Trinket was added to the card using a Mini Glue Dot (#103683)

Pansy Dies

Welcome,

Another sneak peek today, this time using the Pansy Dies (#155680).

The Pansy and leaves are all cut with the Pansy dies. The cardstock used is Basic White (#159228), Rich Razzleberry (#119981), Fresh Freesia (#155614), So Saffron (#108611) Soft Succulent (#155777) and Evening Evergreen (#155575). I lightly daubered the white card for the flower with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). The pieces of the flower and leaves were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

The Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (#155641) was cut with a Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563). The Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached to the tag. The base card and card front are Basic White. I dry embossed the card front with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and daubered the edges with Rich Razzleberry ink (#147091).

Happy Birthday is from the Pansy Patch stamp set (#154999) and stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. A Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151820) was used to cut the sentiment, then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (#155571) were added to the card and I added shimmer to the Rich Razzleberry on the flower using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

Have a great weekend.
