Spotlight On Nature dies

Hello everyone,

I think we all have scraps of designer papers that we just don't want to throw away. That’s what I have used here for today’s pretty card.

I taped the strips of DSP from the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (#163303) to a piece of Basic White card (#159228). Of course you can use a mix of designer papers that work together. This was then cut with a die from the Spotlight On Nature Dies (#163580).

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317) and matted with Fresh Freesia card (#155614). The circle of DSP was taped to the card front.

I cut 3 leaves from the Flowers Of Beauty dies (#163375). For these I used Granny Apple Green card (#147014), Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164142) and Graceful Greenery Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (#164118). These leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The butterfly is from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set 163490). I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) onto Fresh Freesia card, and added Clear from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165679). I heat set this with the Heat Tool (#129056), then cut it with the co-ordinating die from the Sketched Butterflies dies (#163491). I added glimmer to the butterfly with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). The butterfly was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Just a note”, from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). A die from the Spotlight On Nature was used to cut the sentiment. The embellishments are the Iridescent Foil Gems (#162842).

Flowers Of Beauty

Hello everyone,

I have been making some cards lately that could be suitable for male or female, like this one.

The Basic White card (#159228) was dry embossed with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317) and matted with Misty Moonlight card (#153086). This was attached to the Basic White base card. A piece of the Country Woods 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#163393) was attached to the card front.

The 2 larger leaves were cut with Flowers Of Beauty Dies (#163375) using Basic Beige card (#164512) and Summer Splash card (#163798). The small leaves are cut with a die from Unbounded Love (#163383) using Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The leaves were attached to the card.

“Happy Birthday” from Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Summer Splash ink (#163809). The sentiment and the Misty Moonlight card under the sentiment were cut with Unbounded Love dies (#163383) then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were attached to finish the card.

Seaside Bay

Hello again friends,

I am back after a short break. I had a relaxing time catching up with friends in Hervey Bay which inspired this card using the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436).

I stamped the bird with VersaMark (#102283) on Basic White card (#159228) and added Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which needs to be set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut the bird with a Seaside Bay die (#160444).

The shells also from the Seaside Bay stamp set were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The card front was then dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). This was matted with the Azure Afternoon card (#161728) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I used a die from the Chic dies (#158815) to cut another piece of Basic White card for the detailed die cut piece, which was backed with Adhesive sheet (#152334) and this was attached to the card front.

“Feel Better Soon” is from the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). The background was cut from the Silver from the Silver Foil Specialty pack (#156457) and I used Azure Afternoon card for the top layer of the sentiment. This was also backed with Adhesive Sheet and then attached to silver card.

The sentiment and bird were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Calm & Quiet

Welcome friends,

A lovely easy card using one of the images from the Calm & Quiet stamp set (#161611). This is a host set which you can get with a qualifying order ($250 in Australia) as part of the Stampin’ Rewards.

I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I coloured this with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885), Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends (#154830) and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883). I cut this and the Balmy Blue card (#147007) with the Nested Essentials dies (#161597).

I dry embossed the card front with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317) and this was matted with Balmy Blue card. I wrapped the Balmy Blue & White Variegated Ribbon (#160448) around the card front and attached it to the Basic White base card.

“Thank you” is from the Grassy Grove stamp set (#157836) and stamped with Balmy Blue ink (#147105). This was cut with the another Nested Essentials die.

I attached the stamped image and the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Iridescent Pastel gems (#160429) were added to finish the card.

Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper

Hello & welcome my friends,

The flowers from the Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper (#159600) have been fussy cut, then I added some extra stamped leaves around the flower.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317) and matted with Shaded Spruce card (#147006), then attached to the Basic White base card.

I backed the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237) with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), then cut this with the frame die from the Framed Florets (#160623). This was adhered to the card front.

The poinsettias were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves from the Merriest Moments stamp set (#156353) were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088) and cut with a die from the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies (#156385). These leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer stamp set (#156891) and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). This was cut with a Potted Succulent die154330). I cut the ends off the label and cut the words apart. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the words to the card. The cute Flowers Trinkets (#159191) were added to the card. You probably can’t see the glimmer on the flowers which I added with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).
