Seaside Bay

Hello again friends,

I am back after a short break. I had a relaxing time catching up with friends in Hervey Bay which inspired this card using the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436).

I stamped the bird with VersaMark (#102283) on Basic White card (#159228) and added Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which needs to be set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut the bird with a Seaside Bay die (#160444).

The shells also from the Seaside Bay stamp set were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The card front was then dry embossed with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). This was matted with the Azure Afternoon card (#161728) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I used a die from the Chic dies (#158815) to cut another piece of Basic White card for the detailed die cut piecewhich was backed with Adhesive sheet (#152334) and this was attached to the card front.

“Feel Better Soon” is from the Wanted To Say dies (#161594). The background was cut from the Silver from the Silver Foil Specialty pack (#156457) and I used Azure Afternoon card for the top layer of the sentiment. This was also backed with Adhesive Sheet and then attached to silver card.

The sentiment and bird were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Oceanfront

Hello again friends,

Today I am using some carry over products and new products for this card so all are available in the new catalogue. The background has been stamped with the Oceanfront stamp set (#157862).

The sky was stamped with Boho Blue ink (#161650), Balmy Blue ink (#147105) for the sea,  Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the sand, Pebbled Path ink (#161648) for the stones and Lost Lagoon ink (#161678) for the grass.

The bird & “splatters” are from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436). The bird was stamped with Copper Clay ink (#161647) & the splatters with Crumb Cake. The bird was cut with a die from the Seaside Bay dies (#160444).

“Let’s Celebrate” is from the Sentimental Park stamp set (#160561) and this was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The Countryside Corners dies (#161471) were used to cut the stamped Basic White card front (#159228), the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (#161467), the sentiment and the small banners under the sentiment. The banners were cut from Night Of Navy card (#106577).

I dry embossed the Boho Blue card (#161733) with the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder (#160766) and I have used the reverse side of the card. Some Embossing Folders work well on both sides as this one does.

The sentiment & bird was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Seaside Bay Bundle

Hello friends,

I have used the Seaside Bay Bundle (#160445) and the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434) again today with a completely different card from yesterday using the same bundle & DSP.

I attached one piece of the Designer Series Paper to the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237). I cut the other piece of DSP and the Night Of Navy card (#106577) with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820) and attached these to the card. The base card is Basic White (#159228).

The birds from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) and the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) were stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The birds were cut with the Seaside Bay dies (#160444) and the sentiment with a Stitched Rectangles Die. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attached these to the card.

I added 3 Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160434) to the card. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the birds. The Night Of Navy ink (and other darker inks) tends to bleed when using the Wink of Stella but that is the effect I wanted to add the lighter blue to the bird.

By The Bay

Hello stamping friends,

This is a very shimmery card using the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434).

I cut the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper with one of the dies from the Desert Details Dies (#160531). The green paper from the Fine Shimmer
12”x12” Paper Pack was cut with another of the dies. This was then attached to the Gold from the Fine Shimmer Paper then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The small shells from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and cut with a die from the Seaside Bay Dies (#160444). These were attached to the sides of the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The “seaweed” and shells were also cut with Seaside Bay dies. I used the Distressed Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159237) for these shells, and the shells & seaweed were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

“Best Wishes” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) and stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). I cut this with a Sending Die (#159271). This die is longer than I wanted so I cut it close to the “B”, then re-positioned the die to cut off the excess on the other end. The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Seaside Bay Bundle

Hi friends,

The Seaside Bay Bundle (#160445) and the By The Bay 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434) have been used on this card. Some of the dies from the Seaside Bay dies (#160444) also co-ordinate with some of the images on the DSP which is always a bonus.

I dry embossed the Balmy Blue card (#147007) with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (#154317). Then I attached the By The Bay DSP on the left side. Another piece of this DSP was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577) and attached to the card front. The base card is Basic White (#159228).

The birds are from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436). The larger bird was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). The small birds were stamped with Petal Pink ink (#147108), Balmy Blue ink (#147105) and Crumb Cake (#147116). The birds, clam shell, shells and seaweed were all cut with the Seaside Bay dies. I used the Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) for the seaweed, Gold Foil (#132622) for the clam shell and Crumb Cake card (#121685) for the shells. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the Crumb Cake shells.

I also used Clear Wink Of Stella on the large bird. There was some “bleeding” of the ink which gave a lighter colour blue on the bird which is just what I wanted.

The sentiment from Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Night Of Navy ink and cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box Dies (#159182).

The birds, sentiment and small shell were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used for the clam shell and I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Fine Shimmer Paper.

Thanks to everyone who have enquired how my husband’s operation went last week. It went well and he is now home with lots of rehab to continue.

By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi & welcome,

There is such a variety of designs in the By The Bay 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434) and I chose this more subtle one for this card.

The DSP was matted with Pool Party card (#124391) then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The birds are from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436). I stamped the birds with Crumb Cake ink (#147116), Pool Party ink (#147107) and Petal Pink (#147108). These were cut with the Seaside Bay dies (#160444) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The seaweed and clam shell were also cut with the Seaside Bay dies. I used the Soft Succulent and Gold from the Fine Shimmer 12”x12”Paper Pack (#160428) for the seaweed and I used the Gold Foil (#132622) for the clam shell. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Fine Shimmer. The clam shell was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Pool Party ink, cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

By The Bay

Hello again my friends,

If you love the beach you will love the By The Bay suite (#160450). Included in the suite is the Seaside Bay Bundle (#160445), Balmy Blue & White variegated Ribbon (#160448), Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160448) and By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434). I have used the bundle and DSP for this card.

The birds from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) were stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). I used Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend (#154882) to add some extra colour to the bird, then I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). This blended the Night Of Navy ink and the Crumb Cake but I liked the results.

The shells & sand were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) onto the By The Bay DSP. The sentiment, also from the same stamp set was stamped with Night Of Navy ink and cut with a Something Fancy Die (#160424).

The birds and the shells from the Crumb Cake card (#121685) were cut with the Seaside Bay Dies (#160444). The birds and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The shells were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I also added the Clear Wink Of Stella to the die cut shells and the stamped shells.

The DSP was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577) then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).
