Daffodil Daydream

Hello again everyone,

Today I have been sorting out what products are retiring tomorrow and getting ready for some more great products in the next Annual catalogue. So I thought I would use some more retiring products again today. I am using the Daffodil Daydream stamp set (#157786).

I stamped the 2 different daffodil images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Daffodil Delight (#154883), Soft Sea Foam (#154902) and Soft Succulent (#155521). The co-ordinating Daffodil Dies (#157794) were used to cut these. I then cut the Soft Succulent from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), with a Forever Flourishing Die (#152714).

I dry embossed the Basic White card front with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598), then I daubered the edges with Daffodil Delight ink (#154883). This was attached to the Daffodil Delight card (#121680) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The smaller daffodil image was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) then the shimmery leaves were added. The other daffodils were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink then cut with a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183) the Gold trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766). The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensioanals (#144108).

I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the daffodils and added the cute little Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) to finish the card.

Forever Fern

Hi everyone,

The Forever Ferns stamp set (#152559) and the Forever Flourishing dies (#152714) are among the retiring products. The retiring products will be available till the 1st May or while stocks last. To see what is still available go to lesleyjendra.stampinup.net

I stamped the leaves with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088) and the berries with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) on Basic White card (#159228). These stamped images and the die cut leaves were cut with the Forever Flourishing dies. I used the Soft Succulent from Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) for the die cut leaves.

With Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of a piece of Basic White card I used a die from the Organic Beauty dies (#158983) to cut the “trellis”. This was attached to the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434), then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

I attached the leaves & berries with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Best Wishes” is from the Cottage Rose stamp set (#159040), stamped with Merry Merlot ink and cut with a Queen Bee die (#160484). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The cute little butterflies are the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136).

The retiring products used here are the Forever Fern stamp set, Forever Flourishing dies, Organic Beauty dies, Merry Merlot ink, Queen Bee dies, Fine Shimmer Paper Pack & By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Blessings Of Home

Hello stamping friends,

The Blessings Of Home Bundle (#157939) which consists of the Blessings Of Home stamp set (#157930) and the Flowers Of Home Dies (#157938) is another of the retiring products.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I used a variety of Stampin’ Blends to colour this - Polished Pink (#155520), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Soft Succulent (#155521), Balmy Blue (#154830), Highland Heather (#154887), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Pale Papaya (#155519), Pool Party (#154894), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) & Old Olive (#154892). The Old Olive was used on the larger leaves but I wasn’t happy with the colour against the other colours so I recoloured them with Soft Succulent and I liked the result. I then added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers & leaves. This was cut with the Flowers Of Home Dies.

Ther card front was dry embossed with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598) and the edges were daubered with Highland Heather ink (#147103) then attached to the Basic White base card.

The Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) was cut with dies from the Desert Details dies (#160531). This was backed with Adhesive sheet (#152334) so it was easy to attach it to the card front.

The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The gold Fine Shimmer Paper also had Adhesive Sheet on the back and the dies from the Flowers Of Home dies were used to cut the leaves.

The sentiment is also from the Blessings Of Home stamp set and stamped with Highland Heather ink. A Sending Die (#159271) was used to cut the sentiment and this was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are the Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems (#160412).

The retiring products are the Blessings Of Home stamp set, Flowers Of Home dies, Desert Details dies, Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends, Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends, Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends, Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems and Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

Two-Tone Flora

Hello friends,

The Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844) is a Two-step stamping set and that is how I stamped these flowers. I am so happy that this stamp set and the co-ordinating Two-Tone Flora dies (#159181) aren’t retiring.

The flowers were stamped with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). I stamped the “lines” of the flower as normal and for the solid image of the flower  I stamped off first then stamped the image. The leaves were stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). The stamped flowers & leaves were cut with the Two-Tone Flora dies. The gold leaves were cut with a die from Around The Bend (#160650).

The green card front is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and I used the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) for the “stitching”. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I used a die from the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) to cut 3 pieces from the Fancy Flora 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#160413) and attached these to the card front. The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), the stamped leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the Gold leaves were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This gold card is also from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

“Happy Anniversary” is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028) and stamped with Fresh Freesia ink. This was also cut with a Stylish Shapes Die and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

The retiring products are the Fine Shimmer Paper pack, Soft Succulent ink, Stitched Greenery Die and Celebrating You stamp set.

The Fresh Freesia ink which is in the retiring 2021-2023 In Colors will be returning. The other 4 colours will retire.

Happy Hedgehogs

Hello again my friends,

A cute little card using the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set (#157983) and the co-ordinating Hedgehog Builder Punch (#157984).

I used the Gold & Green card from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428). I used a Picture This die (#155559) to cut the green card and this was attached to the gold.

All the images are from the the Happy Hedgehog stamp set. The hedgehog was stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115) and I coloured it with the “800” Stampin’ Blend from the Medium blends (#159463). I stamped the mushrooms with Blushing Bride ink (#147100) and these were coloured with the “700” also from the Medium Stampin’ Blends, Ivory (#154922), “1000” from the Light Stampin’ Blends (#159465) & Granny Apple Green (#154885).

The bird & butterflies were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I used Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Starry Sky (#159222) Stampin’ Blends for the butterflies. The bird was coloured with Daffodil Delight, So Saffron (#154905) & Real Red Stampin’ Blends (#154899). I used Balmy Blue (#154830) & Granny Apple Green (#154885) for the flower.

The hedgehog was punched with the Hedgehog Builder Punch and the other images were fussy cut.

“Just For You” is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028) and stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). I cut this with the same Picture This Die and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The hedgehog, mushrooms & bird were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the butterflies. The Flower Trinkets (#159191) are the embellishments.

Around The Bend dies

Hello again friends,

Todays card is variation of the last card I posted using the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and using a variety of dies for the leaves.

I cut the Gold from the Fine Shimmer pack using an Around The Bend die (#160649), then punched the top left corner with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878). This was attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). The shimmery green leaves and the shimmery purple flowers & square are also from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack. For the other leaves I used the Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524).

The dies for the leaves and flowers are from the Around The Bend dies, Dainty Delight dies (#160674), Framed Florets dies (#160623 and Queen Bee dies (#160484). 

The stamped flower is from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571). This was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I added some Gorgeous Grape from the Assortment 2 Watercolor Pencils (#149014). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to spread some colour toward the tips of the petals. This was punched with the Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576).

All the card for the leaves had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) attached to the back before cutting, to make them easy to attach to the card. The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The layers of the mauve & gold flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Framed Florets stamp set (#161815) and stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103). This and the mauve card were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183).

The ribbon is the gold from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) and attached with Mini Glue Dots. The embellishments are the Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots (#160582).

Fine Shimmer Paper Pack

Hi again,

I have used a variety of dies for the flowers & leaves on this card. The card front is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and I used the Stitched Greenery die (#155451) to create the stitched leaves.

The stamped flowers are from the Petal Park stamp set (#160571) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Petal Park Builder Punch (#160576) was used to punch the flowers. There are actually 3 different size flowers on this stamp so I have stamped it 3 times as I wanted all 3 flowers the same size. I added the colour to the centre of the petals using the Melon Mambo Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 1 (#141709) and Gorgeous Grape Watercolor Pencil from Assortment 2 (#149014). I then blended the colour using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

I used the Silver Foil Specialty Paper (#156457) to cut the leaves and flower. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the foil. The dies used for these are the Framed Florets (#160623), Around The Bend (#160649), Irresistible Blooms (#161149), Queen Bee (#160484) and Dainty Delight (#160674). I also cut & embossed 2 flowers with the Brushed Bouquet Dies (#160473) from Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). I lightly daubered these flowers with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). For the small flowers I used the Fresh Freesia from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack.

The sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set (#161815) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This and the silver under the sentiment were cut with Beautiful Shapes Dies (#158046).

Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the sentiment and flowers. Adhesive-Backed Studs (#160767) were added to the card.

By The Bay

Hello stamping friends,

This is a very shimmery card using the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434).

I cut the By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper with one of the dies from the Desert Details Dies (#160531). The green paper from the Fine Shimmer 

12”x12” Paper Pack was cut with another of the dies. This was then attached to the Gold from the Fine Shimmer Paper then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The small shells from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) were stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and cut with a die from the Seaside Bay Dies (#160444). These were attached to the sides of the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The “seaweed” and shells were also cut with Seaside Bay dies. I used the Distressed Gold 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159237) for these shells, and the shells & seaweed were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

“Best Wishes” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) and stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). I cut this with a Sending Die (#159271). This die is longer than I wanted so I cut it close to the “B”, then re-positioned the die to cut off the excess on the other end. The sentiment was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Brilliant Wings

Hello again,

I seem to be making so many cards lately with flowers so decided it was time to get the butterflies out as I haven’t used them for a while ( and I do love butterflies). This butterfly is from the Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523).

The green paper is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) and I dry embossed this with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598). There are 3 different folders in this pack. I then matted this with the Calypso Coral Card (#124392) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I cut 3 strips of DSP is from the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (#160413) and attached them to the card front. The sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101), then cut with a die from the Stitched Rectangles (#151820). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment to the card.

The butterflies were cut from the Gold from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack and Calypso Coral card. The two butterflies were attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) then the butterfly was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A Brushed Brass Butterfly (#158136) was attached to the sentiment and the Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots (#160582) were attached to the centre of the butterfly.

Perfectly Detailed

Hello friends,

I have used the Perfectly Detailed Background stamp (#160748) on this card for another easy card.

This was stamped onto the Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) using VersaMark (#102283), then I added the White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then matted with Highland Heather card (#147010) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set (#157672) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). I cut this and the pieces of Highland Heather card under the sentiment with dies from the Seasonal Labels dies (#156299). The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The Highland Heather card on either end of the sentiment was cut with the same die as the sentiment. I cut this in half and attached it to matt either end of the sentiment. The other piece of Highland Heather card under the sentiment was cut with another die.

Brushed Bouquet

Hello my friends,

These flowers and leaves are from the Brushed Bouquet bundle (#160474) which consist of the Brushed Bouquet stamp set (#160472) and the Brushed Bouquet Dies (#160473).

Some of the dies cut & emboss at the same time, which you can see with the 2 gold flowers and the green leaves. I have used the gold & green from the Fine Shimmer Paper pack (#160428).

I stamped the flower with Pale Papaya ink (#155670) - using the Stamparatus (#148187) - onto Pale Papaya card (#155669). After cleaning the stamp and without moving it, I re-inked the stamp with VersaMark (#102283) and stamped on top of the first image. I then sprinkled this with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then stamped a second image on top just with Pale Papaya ink. The flowers were then cut with the co-ordinating die.

For the card front I used a mask from the Loveliest Layers Decorative Mask (#160517) and applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) with a Palette Knife (#142808). This created all the vertical lines. Once this was dry, which doesn't take long, I turned the mask and applied the Embossing paste again to fill the blank spaces and create the horizontal lines. The card front was attached to the Pale Papaya base card.

The flowers & leaves were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) & Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment from Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) was stamped with Pale Papaya ink then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

By The Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi & welcome,

There is such a variety of designs in the By The Bay 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160434) and I chose this more subtle one for this card.

The DSP was matted with Pool Party card (#124391) then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The birds are from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436). I stamped the birds with Crumb Cake ink (#147116), Pool Party ink (#147107) and Petal Pink (#147108). These were cut with the Seaside Bay dies (#160444) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The seaweed and clam shell were also cut with the Seaside Bay dies. I used the Soft Succulent and Gold from the Fine Shimmer 12”x12”Paper Pack (#160428) for the seaweed and I used the Gold Foil (#132622) for the clam shell. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Fine Shimmer. The clam shell was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Pool Party ink, cut with a die from the Cracker & Treat Box dies (#159182) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Sentimental Park

Hello everyone,

The bundle I have used today is the Sentimental Park Bundle (#160567), which includes the Sentimental Park stamp set (#160561) and the Sentimental Park dies (#160566).

The Designer Series Paper is from Sale-a-bration and is the Dandy Designs 12”x12” DSP (#160836). This is free with a $180 order in Australia. It consists of 48 sheets with 4 each of 12 double sided designs, so great value.

I wrapped the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon (#155615) around the DSP then I attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The group of small flowers were stamped with Fresh Freesia Ink (#155611). This is a Two-Step stamp, so I stamped the outline of the flowers as normal, then with the second stamp I inked it with the same ink, stamped off onto scrap paper then stamped on top of the outlined flowers. This gives the 2 tones of ink. The sentiment was also stamped with Fresh Freesia ink. The flowers and the labels were all cut with the Sentimental park dies. The gold card is from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428). The gold label with the flowers is cut so you can slip the label with the sentiment under the flowers .

The sentiment, stamped flowers & the larger die cut flower at the top right were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The smaller flowers were all attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Fresh Freesia card (#155614) was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting the flower which I put on top of the gold flower.

Around The Bend

Hello again,

I have used the 3 different colours from the Fine Shimmer 12”x12” Paper Pack (#160428) on this card. The colours are Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia and Gold and look great together and I love the shimmer.

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550). The Soft Succulent paper was cut with a die from the Around The Bend Dies (#160649) and attached to the base card. The flowers & leaves were also cut with the Around The Bend dies. With 3 of the flowers I added extra colour using a Dauber (#133773) with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The 2 lighter coloured flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the 3 darker ones were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The gold leaves were also attached with Mini Glue Dots. The flower centres were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings Stamp set (#158763) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was stamped on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291). The sentiment and Gold paper were cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160449).

Around The Bend

Hi stamping friends,

The Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) and the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper (#160833) look beautiful together on this card. The Favored Flowers DSP is from the Sale-a-bration products.

I stamped the line and spots from the Around The Bend stamp set (#160853) onto Basic White card (#159228). I used VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a die from the Around The Bend (#160649). I attached the DSP to the Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and attached the die cut scalloped card on top. The Fresh Freesia from the Fine Shimmer Paper Pack (#160428) was cut with another die from the Around The Bend dies, and attached on top of the card.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763). I stamped this with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) using the Stamparatus (#148187). Without moving the stamp, I re-stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed it with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool. A Pretty Pillowbox Die (#156321) was used to cut the sentiment. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
