Notes Of Spring Stamp Set

 Hello stamping friends,

Each month Stampin’ Up! has a new Product Of The Month which in Australia you can purchase for $9 with a $125 order. These products will carry over if they are still in stock. I have used 2 products of the month on today’s card - Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) and the Notes Of Spring Stamp Set (#167979).

I stamped the outline of deer from the stamp set with Pecan Pie ink (#161665). Then I stamped the inside with Pecan Pie ink but stamped off first to get the lighter colour.

I then stamped the deer onto Masking paper (#155480) and cut around the image. I placed this over the original stamped image and stamped the grass on either side of the deer. Using the masking method it avoids stamping over the deer and gives the illusion of the deer in front of the grass. I then stamped the smaller grass image at the front and sides. I used Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the grass. The deer was then cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580).

The Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper was used for the card front and attached to the Basic White Base card (#166781).

I used one of the dies from the Nature’s Symphony dies (#166925) to cut the rows of dots along the bottom of the Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099). Another die was used to cut the “woodgrain” piece from Gold Foil (#132622).

“Happiest Birthday Wishes” is from the Notes Of Spring stamp set and I stamped this with Pecan Pie ink. This was cut with a (retired) Beautiful Butterflies die.

The Granny Apple Green card (#147014), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) was used for the leaves cut with the Delicate Wishes dies (#167505).

When using Vellum, I add all the pieces to the vellum before attaching the vellum to the card. Then I attach the vellum using adhesive only in the areas that won’t be visible. The leaves were attached with the adhesive sheet, I taped the gold woodgrain, the Circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The embellishments are the Natural Matte Dots (#167510).

Decorative Masks

Hi stamping friends,

I have used 2 of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks (#159178) for the background on todays card. These 2 masks work together or they can be used individually.

Firstly I used Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) and a Blending Brush (#153611) with the first mask then lined up the second mask and used Old Olive ink (#147090). Next time I will use the darker ink first as it will be easier to line up the images.

I used a piece of the Vellum Basics Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160839) on top of the card front as I only wanted a subtle look.

I cut a label from the Designer Tags dies (#159165) from Basic White card (#159228) then dry embossed this with the Timber Embossing Folder (#156406). I stamped the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283), (which will be available in the next Mini Catalogue from 6th September), with Old Olive ink. This was taped to the label.

The leaves were cut with a Dainty Delight die (#160674), using Pecan Pie card (#161726) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and attached to the card.

The corners of the card front were punched with the Very Best Trio Punch (#159878), then this was attached to the Pecan Pie card. The base card is Basic White.

Translucent Florals

Hello stamping friends,

I have stamped the flowers & leaves from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) onto Vellum (#106584). This stamp set & dies will be available from 6th September in the upcoming Mini catalogue.

The inks used are Berry Burst (#147143), Orchid Oasis (#159214) and Garden Green (#147089). When stamping on the vellum, the ink takes a bit longer to dry. You can use the Heat Tool (#129056) to ensure the ink is dry. The flowers & leaves were cut with the Translucent Florals Dies (#162252). I also cut a piece of the Orchid Oasis card (#159265) and Berry Burst card (#144249) with the flower die and attached the vellum flowers on top but slightly offset. These were attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I dry embossed the lower part of the Basic White card (#159228) with one of the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder (#161599). Using a Palette Knife (#142808) and an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask (#159178) I applied the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) to the top part of the White card. This was matted with the Orchid Oasis card (#159265). The White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) was wrapped around the cardfront then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

The Orchid Oasis flower and the leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots and the Berry Burst flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) and stamped with Orchid Oasis ink. A Nested Essentials die (#161597) was used to cut the sentiment. The Flat adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160449) were added to the card.

True Love Designer Series Paper

Hello again everyone,

I have used so much of this beautiful True Love Designer Series Paper (#154281) and have loved colouring the beautiful flowers. Of course you can just use the black & white designs or add colour or use a bit of both as I have on today’s card.

I punched a circle using the 2” Circle Punch (#133782) from the DSP, then coloured the flowers in the circle. The Stampin’ Blends used to colour the flowers are Poppy Parade (#154958), Mango Melody (#154888), Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Purple Posy (#154896), Rococo Rose (#154900), Highland Heather (#154887), Rich Razzleberry (#154898), Pumpkin Pie (#154897), Magenta Madness (#153106) and Granny Apple Green (#154885).
I cut another circle from Real Red card (#106578) using the Layering Circles Dies (#151770) and attached the coloured DSP circle to it.
The rectangular piece of DSP was attached to a piece of Real Red card, then I attached the Vellum (#106584) on top. The circle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).
The Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon (#151155) was wrapped around the cardfront before attaching this to the Basic White base card (#159228).
The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set (#154510) and cut with the co-ordinating Messages Die (#154422). I cut the Real Red card to matt the sentiment using a Stitched So Sweetly Die (#151690). To finish the card I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to each of the centres of the coloured flowers.

I hope your day has been enjoyable!!

Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper

Hello,

“On Stage At Home” online event which I mentioned yesterday is now sadly over but I have learnt so much from all the presenters and looking forward to the new and exciting products which will be available soon.

There are however so many exciting products available in the 2 current catalogues and one of my very favourites is the Forever Greenery Suite (#154143). This suite consists of a Stamp & Die Bundle, Gold Laser-cut Specialty Paper, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon & Trim combo and Gold Hoops Embellishments. All these are also a available separately.

The card base is Whisper White (#106549) and I also stamped the sentiment on Whisper White. The sentiment from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Heat Embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). I cut this with a Stitched Be Mine Die (#151814).
I cut the leaves with a die from the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) from Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) which were backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) for ease of placement onto the card. This was attached to the Vellum cardstock (#106584) which I dry embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718). This was then attached to the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper (#152492), using Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I attached these dots under the leaves so they would not show through the vellum.
I wrapped the Shaded Spruce Ribbon and the Gold Cord, both from the Wonder Of The Season Ribbon Combo Pack (#153537) around the cardfront, then this was attached to the card base. The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the Gold Sequins from the Sequins For Everything (#153556) were added using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a fantastic day.
