Two-Tone Flora

I hope you are all having a great weekend and getting time to craft. 

I have used a variety of products on todays card with the flowers from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set (#160844). This is a Two-step stamp set but I have decided just to stamp the “line” image and not stamp the second image on top to colour the background of the flower.

I stamped 3 flowers with VersaMark (#102283) onto Basic White card (#159228) and added the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The flowers were then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181). I then daubered the edges of the flowers with Balmy Blue ink (#147105) which gives some depth to the flower.

The Basic White card front was cut with one of the Split Card Textures Dies (#159163) then matted with Balmy Blue card (#147007).

The sentiment is from the (retired) Special Moments stamp set and stamped with Balmy Blue ink. I used a die from the Waves Dies (#158840) to cut the sentiment. The ribbon (also retired) was threaded through the label and wrapped around the card front. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) under the sentiment.The card front was then attached to the Basic White base card.

The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves are cut from the Silver from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (#156457) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The dies for the leaves are from Brushed Bouquet Dies (#160473), the Irresistible Blooms Dies (#161149) and the Around The Bend Dies (#160649).

The embellishments are from another retired product - Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.

Waves Of the Ocean Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

The Waves Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper (#159982) have a beautiful range of designs and I have used one of the designs on this card. This pack is available for a limited time along with the Blue Foils Specialty Paper (#159983) and the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels (#159396).

I cut the Basic White base card (#159228) with one of the Basic Borders Dies (#155558), then cut the DSP with the same die. The DSP was attached to the card.

The pelican on the post is from the Waves Of Inspiration stamp set (#158833). This was stamped twice with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A Waves Die (#158840) was used to cut the stamped images. The right image was taped to the card and the one on the left was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098). I cut the sentiment, the Pacific Point card (#116202) and the silver from the Blue Foils with a die from the Tasteful Labels (#152886). These were layered, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishment is from the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.

The silver foil was added to the bottom of the inside of the card but can be seen when the card is closed.

The Tasteful Labels dies are retiring. The DSP, Blue Foil and embellishments are only available for a limited time. The Waves Of Inspiration stamp set and Waves Dies are available now and will also be in the next Annual catalogue.

Dragonfly Garden

Hi friends,

A simple masking technique was used for the circle on this card.

I punched a 2”circle from a post it note and placed it on the Basic White card front (#159228). The circle was created by blending Pool Party ink (#147107) with a Blending Brush (#153611) onto the white card. I then used Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) at the bottom of the card.

I stamped the floral image and sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set (#154411) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (132708). The sentiment was cut with a Waves Die (#158840). I threaded the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) through the sentiment label and wrapped it around the card front. The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688).

The base card is Pool Party (#124391) and the embellishments are from the new Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels (#159396).

TIP: Post it notes are great for making masks as it is a thin paper and it has the sticky area so you can attached it to the card and remove it easily.

Waves Of Inspiration

Hi everyone,

At last the rain has stopped here, although heading south and causing flooding in so many areas, so thinking of everyone in all the disaster areas. Please stay safe.

The Waves Of Inspiration Bundle (#158841) is an early release from the upcoming 2022/2023 annual catalogue, due in May. You can purchase this bundle as well as other products in the collection from 1st March. 

I have just had my first play with some of the products.

I stamped the wave from the Waves Of Inspiration stamp set (#158833) onto a piece of the New Horizons Designer Series Paper (#157768) with Balmy Blue ink (#147105). I stamped the pelican on the post from the same stamp set, with Soft Suede ink (#147115) and Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were cut with a die from the Waves Dies (#158840). I cut the pelican from both images and used the Soft Suede posts and the black pelican. The pelican was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Another product included in the Waves Of Ocean collection (#161797) is the Blue Foils Specialty Paper (#159983). There are 3 colours included in this pack - Coastal Cabana, Night Of Navy & Silver. I used the Coastal Cabana & Night Of Navy foils for the waves cut with the Waves dies. I had adhered the Adhesive Sheets (#152334) to the back of the foils for ease of attaching these detailed cut-outs to the card.

“Happy Birthday” is one of the sentiments from the Waves Of Inspiration stamp set and cut with another Waves die. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

TIP: The stamp set & dies are available from 1st March and will also be available in the next annual catalogue. The Waves Of Ocean Designer Series Paper (#159982), Blue Foils Specialty Paper and the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels (#159396) are available from 1st March and while stocks last.
