Inspirational Sketches stamp set

Hello friends,

These birds are from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684).

The birds were stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050), Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). They were then fussy cut.

I stamped Basic White card front (#159228) with the “scribbly” image from the same stamp set, using Basic Beige ink (#163806), then dry embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). I matted the card front with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The Wild Ferns dies (#162654) were used to cut the leaves from the Old Olive card (#106576). I attached the leaves at the bottom of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The red & yellow birds and the strip of Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393) were taped to the card. The blue bird was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108), then I added the extra leaves.

“Thank You” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and cut with a Changing Leaves die (#164138). This was also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164204).

Wild Ferns Bundle

Hi friends,

The Wild Ferns Bundle (#162655) used on today’s card consists of the Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) and the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). The bundle will be retiring, however the stamp set and dies will still be available in the next catalogue, just not as a bundle. Some of these ferns bring back memories of when I was growing up and these ferns grew on various parts the farm.

I stamped the leaves with Old Olive ink (#147090), Garden Green ink (#147089), Cajun Craze ink (#147085 and Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). These were all cut with the Wild Ferns dies.

I dry embossed a piece of Old Olive card (#106576) with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) and punched the V’s at each end with a retired Triple Banner Punch. The Very Vanilla card front (#106550) was dry embossed with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). I wrapped the Burlap Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack (#160386) around the card front and attached the card front to the Very Vanilla base card.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and stamped with Old Olive ink. The sentiment and the Crumb Cake card (#121685) under the sentiment were cut with the Wild Ferns dies. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The ferns were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The retiring products are the Burlap Ribbon and the Go To Greetings stamp set.

Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes

Hello friends,

You don't need to do much when using the gorgeous cards from the Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes (#162589). These cards are great for any special occasion.

I chose a very simple design so it didn’t cover too much of the design of the card. I used a Wild Ferns die (#162654) to cut the Pretty Peacock card (#150886). This was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), so I attached this straight onto the card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) and cut with another Wild Ferns die. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430).

To finish the card I added the Pretty Peacock gems from the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems (#162587).

How easy is that!!

Wild Ferns

Hello stampin’ friends,

Today I have made 2 cards the same except for the background which gives a different look to the 2 cards.

All the leaves are cut with the Wild Ferns dies (#162654). I used Mossy Meadow card (#133683), Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). To get the 2 pieces of the leaves as shown below, use the same die to cut the 2 pieces. I attached the Mossy Meadow die cuts as shown below using Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I cut the gold leaves with the other die and cut each leaf off so they are easier to place where I wanted them on the card. The Soft Sea Foam leaves are cut with two other dies. The gold foil & Soft Sea Foam card were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The card front for the first card is from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977) and attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). For the second card I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder (#158804). This was matted with Mossy Meadow card, then attached to the Very Vanilla base card. The leaves were attached to the cards.

The Rectangular Soft Sea Foam card was cut with another Wild Ferns die and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I still have a few sentiments lying around from when I cut & embossed these with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162927) and Gold Foil, so used them on these cards. They were attached with Mini Glue Dots.

I am having a problem with photos on the blog, so I am asking if you could please help. I find if I go back more than a month I can’t see the photos on the blog however all the written information is there. I can see the photos for the last month. So today is 26th January and I can see photos back to 26th December. Then I can’t see photos until 4th April 2023, but can see them before that. Very strange!! Are you having the same problem. I would appreciate if you could let me know if it’s working properly or not for you.
