Timeless Textures

Hello,

I just love this Timeless Textures stamp set (#c140517, #w140514) and was so happy with this finished card. (Of course it looks much better in reality.)

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550). I stamped around the 3 sides of the card with Crumb Cake ink (#126975). Then I heat embossed the flourishes with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I also gold embossed around the edge of the card, around the scalloped oval as well as the sentiment. The large butterfly is cut with a Framelit from the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) and the smaller one from the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135). I used the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719) and Red Glimmer Paper (#121790) for the butterflies. Happy Birthday is from the Sky Is The Limit stamp set (#c141349), then I punched this with the Scallop Oval (#119856). The sentiment and butterflies were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Tomorrow I will show you a masculine card using the Timeless Textures stamp set.

Till then,
Happy Stamping,
Lesley.

Butterflies Thinlits

Hello and welcome,

Another little sneak peak today from the new occasions catalogue, with the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper (#140550) which I have used for the butterfly.

This butterfly was cut with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) and placed on top of the solid butterfly cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits from Basic Black card (#121688). The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550) and I have also used Blushing Bride card (#131287) with Timeless Elegance DSP (#138444). Happy Birthday is from the Guy Greetings stamp set (#c138828, #w138825, #p137178). I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and Black Embossing Powder (#109133) which was then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used one of the Banners Framelits (#132173) to cut this, and I attached the banner to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishment on the butterfly is Winter Wonderland (#139621).

I wish you all a very happy, safe and healthy New Year and best wishes for a great 2016.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Butterfly Birthday

Hello,

I have just received some of the new products from the next seasonal catalogue and I can't wait to share them with you. As a demonstrator we can get the products earlier so we can start planning our projects. The catalogue is available from 4th January, so not too much longer to wait. There are so many fantastic new products, I'm looking forward to start playing with them (as soon as I get some time).

Meanwhile here is a lovely simple Birthday card with Butterflies.

I stamped the splotches from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (#c130517, #w130514) onto the Whisper White card (#106549) using Mint Macaron ink (#138326). The ribbon is the Mint Macaron 1" Dotted Lace Trim (#138424). The butterfly cut from Mint Macaron card (#138344) has been cut with the Bold Butterly Framelits (#138135). The Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) cut the butterfly from the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622). Both butterflies were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). Happy Birthday is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c138816, #w138813, #p137154). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing Powder (#109129), then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Butterflies Thinlits

 Hi and Welcome,

What would we do without Framelits? I use them on most cards - so easy to use and there is such a large variety which can be used separately or together.

The Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) co-ordinate with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) to make this butterfly. One cuts a solid butterfly, the other cuts the intricate design. The other Framelits are the Circle Collection (#130911) and Deco Labels Collection (#130102). I stamped the starburst from Kinda Eclectic stamp set (#c135350, #w135347) with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). Happy Birthday is from Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706) and I used Pacific Point ink (#126951). The bow is made using the Bow Builder punch (#137414). Metal Rimmed Pearls (#138394) have been added to the bow and butterfly. I embossed the Whisper White card (#106549) for the background with the Brick Wall embossing folder (#138288). The blue card is Pacific Point (#116202) and Basic Black (#121688) was used for the top butterfly.

I have just received some of the new products from the new holiday catalogue which will be out on 1st September. There are so many fantastic products for Christmas, and I am now busy designing cards etc for an upcoming Christmas workshop. I can't believe I am already talking about Christmas! It's very exciting playing with new products and I look forward to sharing these with you in the near future.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping,
Lesley.

Bohemian DSP Butterfly

Welcome,

I have had 3 grandchildren for the weekend (ages 3, 5 and 7) and they all love to do craft so we have had a great time making cards etc. I have also managed to get some done for myself so here is today's card.

The DSP is from the Bohemian DSP (#138446), which I cut the solid butterfly from using the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135). Then with White Vellum (#106584) I cut the butterfly from the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). I used Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246) for the centre of the Butterfly and the butterfly was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is Island Indigo (#124390), and the other cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Crushed Curry (#131288). The embossing folder I used on the Very Vanilla card is Elegant Dots (#138287) - yes my favourite at the moment. The circles are cut with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). Happy birthday comes from the Birthady Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167). This was stamped with Island Indigo ink (#126986) and the Framelit to cut this was one from the Project Life Cards and Labels (#135707). You might notice I cut the left end off straight instead of having points at both ends.

I hope you have had a great weekend as I have.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Awesomely Artistic

Hello again,

The flowers from Awesomely Artistic stamp set (#c139950, #w138694) have been heat embossed with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131).

The Cardstock is Melon Mambo (#1199980) and Whisper White (#106549). The sentiment from Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #c139167) is stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#126948). The butterfly is cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon is Silver 1/8" Ribbon (#132137).

Today's Tip:
With the more intricate Framelits, here is an easy way to remove all the little pieces. After running the Framelit and card through the big shot, the card is still attached to the Framelit. Using tumble dryer sheets, fold them till you have 4-6 layers. Place the Framelit onto the sheets and run through the Big shot again making your "sandwich" as usual.

Remove the Framelit and the card is still attached to the dryer sheets. These sheets have a waxy surface which is why the pieces stay attached.

Carefully lift the edge of the butterfly and the small pieces will stay attached to the card. You don't have to push all those pieces out. There may be an odd one or 2 that you have to remove.

You will find this so much quicker, especially on the larger butterflies.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Watercolour Wings

Hello stampers,

It's time for another butterfly card today. I think you know by now that I love butterflies.

I have used Crushed Curry card (#131288) as well as Very Vanilla (#106550). I embossed with the Elegant Dots folder (#138287) on the Very Vanilla card. I stamped the bottom butterfly with the Watercolour Wings stamp set (#p139424) using Soft Saffron ink (#126957), Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and Early Espresso (#126974). I used the Bold Butterfly Framelits to cut this butterfly. The top butterfly was cut with the Butterflies Thinlits from Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719). Both butterflies were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The lace is Sahara Sand Lace trim (#137866). The sentiment is punched with the Washi Tape punch (#138296).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
