Butterflies Thinlits

 Hi and Welcome,

What would we do without Framelits? I use them on most cards - so easy to use and there is such a large variety which can be used separately or together.

The Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) co-ordinate with the Butterflies Thinlits (#137360) to make this butterfly. One cuts a solid butterfly, the other cuts the intricate design. The other Framelits are the Circle Collection (#130911) and Deco Labels Collection (#130102). I stamped the starburst from Kinda Eclectic stamp set (#c135350, #w135347) with Daffodil Delight ink (#126944). Happy Birthday is from Petite Pairs stamp set (#c122497, #w128706) and I used Pacific Point ink (#126951). The bow is made using the Bow Builder punch (#137414). Metal Rimmed Pearls (#138394) have been added to the bow and butterfly. I embossed the Whisper White card (#106549) for the background with the Brick Wall embossing folder (#138288). The blue card is Pacific Point (#116202) and Basic Black (#121688) was used for the top butterfly.

I have just received some of the new products from the new holiday catalogue which will be out on 1st September. There are so many fantastic products for Christmas, and I am now busy designing cards etc for an upcoming Christmas workshop. I can't believe I am already talking about Christmas! It's very exciting playing with new products and I look forward to sharing these with you in the near future.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping,
Lesley.

Birthday Blossoms card

Hello,

All the images on this card are from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167) except for the splotch under the sentiment which is from the Work of Art stamp set (#c134114, #w134111).

Perfect Plum card (#108615) have been used for the base card and flowers. These flowers were stamped with Perfect Plum ink (#126963) and punched with the Pansy punch (#130698). The small flowers were stamped with Wisteria Wonder ink (#126985) onto Whisper White card (#106549). For the leaves I have used Wild Wasabi ink (#126959). These were hand cut. The edge of the Whisper White card was cut with the Small Scallop Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Cutting Blade (#129410). Metal Rimmed Pearls (#138394) were added to the flowers and card. The flowers were attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Butterfly Basics

Hello,

Not sure if this card fold has a particular name but it looks like a normal card till you open it. Hopefully the recipient knows how to display it. I made some Christmas cards like this a couple of years ago and I found out later most people didn't realise this was how the card was meant to be. I think I should have sent instructions with the cards.

The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550) and I have also used Real Red card (#106578) and Timeless Elegance DSP (#138444). I scored the front in the centre of the card to be able to make the fold, before embossing with the Elegant Dots embossing folder (#138287). The labels were cut with the Deco Labels Collection Framelits (#127012) and Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutations stamp set (#c126707, #w132070) is stamped with Real Red ink (#126949). Only tape the bottom part of the label to the card to allow the card to be be displayed as shown.  I added some Metal Rimmed Pearls (#138394) under the sentiment.
The flowers are from Butterfly Basics stamp set (#c139950, #w138694) and were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) on the inside of the card.  I also stamped the flowers using Real Red ink on some scrap card, hand cut them and placed them on top of the already stamped flowers using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). This holds the card in place as shown.

Here are this weeks WEEKLY DEALS. Check them out and if you would like to take advantage of any of these specials just let me know.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
