Everything Eleanor and Masking technique

Hello,

The Masking Technique is used to stamp the flowers on this card.

For this technique, firstly stamp the image on your card. Then stamp it again on a scrap piece of paper (post it notes are great as the sticky piece ensures the mask stays in place). Cut around the stamped image, cutting just inside the lines - this piece becomes your mask. Place this over the image on your card. Stamp another image over a portion of the mask to create layered images. Repeat as necessary. On my card I stamped the corner image, then placed the mask over that flower then stamped the other 2 flowers.

The card stock for this card are Calypso Coral (#124392), Basic Black (#121688) and Crushed Curry (#131288). The DSP is from the Watercolour Wonder (#132994) which is in the Occasions Catalogue. I stamped on the DSP using Calypso Coral ink (#126983) with the flower from Everything Eleanor stamp set (#124164). Happy Birthday is from Express Yourself stamp set (#130339) which is one of the hostess products. The punches used for the sentiment are Word Window (#119857) and Modern Label (#119849). I added some Dazzling Details (#124117) to the stamens of the flowers. The Woodgrain
Folder (#127821) was used to emboss the base card. The little butterflies are from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits (#118138) with a Pearl Basic Jewel added.

Bye for now,
😊Happy Stamping😊
Lesley.
