When I stamped & coloured the flower from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set (#162953) yesterday, I decided to do a second one. Usually I stamp with the Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) when colouring with Stampin’ Blends. So I decided to stamp with the Smoky Slate ink (#147113) for a more subtle colour, but I used the same Stampin’ Blends and it gave a much more subtle colour overall. Here are the 2 coloured images -
Here is today’s card using the more subtle colours.
Again, the Stampin’ Blends used are Granny Apple Green (#154885), Berry Burst (#161681), Bubble Bath (#161675), Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Crumb Cake (#154882). After colouring this I fussy cut the image.
I cut the Basic White card front (#159228) with the largest die from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies (#162821) to create a “window”, then dry embossed the card with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406).
I stamped the smaller flower images for the background from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set with Bubble Bath ink (#161664). I attached the card front to the base card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The fussy cut flower was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
“Sending Hugs” is from the Layering Leaves stamp set (#161277) and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) and cut with another Thoughtful Expressions die. The small flowers also from this die set were cut from Bubble Bath card (#161727) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I added the Festive Pearls (#159963) to the centre of the flowers.
The edges of the card front & sentiment were daubered with Bubble Bath ink.
