Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

Welcome again,

I seem to use heat embossing on most of my cards, as I think it enhances the stamping. So today I thought I would try embossing on the Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#148812) and was very pleased with the results making it very elegant.

Using one of the pieces for cards, I  VersaMarked (#102283) the piece of detailed cut out, then covered it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). I heat set this with the Heat Tool (#129056) and repeated again making sure the whole piece was covered. I then glued this to the Blueberry Bushel base card (#146991). There are 2 ways I find you can glue this, firstly with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) or using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) which I used here. The easiest way to use this glue on these detailed pieces is to squeeze some glue onto the Silicone Craft Sheet (#127853) and using a sponge, apply the glue gently all over the back of the paper. This will ensure all the little pieces will adhere to the card. The sentiment is from the Climbing Roses stamp set (#cling148658) and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138), then cut with the label from the Rose Trellis Thinlits Dies (#148549). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves are from the Butterfly Elements (#149711),  a sale-a-bration product. I coloured them with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) using a Dauber (#133773). I used the Fine-tip Glue Pen to attach these. The ribbon is the Gold 1/8” cord (#147528). To finish the card I added some Gold Sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (#144214) to the label.

Have a great day.
