Another beautiful stamp set which is suitable for males or for any horse lover is the Let It Ride stamp set (#cling148765).
I was having a bit of a clean up the other day (a never ending job around here) and came across the Embossing Paste which I haven’t used for a while, so thought it was time to do something with it again. I used it for the background for this card.
Using a mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks (#144103) and the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645), I applied the paste with a Palette Knife (#142808) onto Whisper White card (#106549). I then decided to see what it would look like by adding some Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636). I added the powder while the paste was still wet, then heat set it with the Heat Tool (#129056) and I was very happy with the results. This was attached to the Soft Suede base card (#119982). The horse from the Let It Ride stamp set was stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115), then VersaMark (#102283), then added Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and set it with the Heat Tool. When stamping and embossing this way, use the Stamparatus (#148187) and don’t move the card or the stamp until all stamping is done. Also you need to clean the ink from the stamp before adding the VersaMark to ensure you don’t transfer the ink to the VersaMark. I fussy cut the horse and attached it to the Whisper White rectangular card using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). This white rectangle, the sentiment and Soft Suede rectangle are cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551). The sentiment is from the Let It Ride stamp set and stamped with Soft Suede ink. The 1/4” Copper Ribbon was attached to the card. This is a loose weave trim which you can use straight or pull into various shapes. I added some copper sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (#144214) using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to complete the card.
Have a great day.
