Butterflies

Hello again,

As I said yesterday, I just love the butterflies from the occasions catalogue, and couldn’t resist doing a shadow box with the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies (#148538). The frame measures 12” x 12”.

The 5 butterflies in the middle are cut from Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) and Highland Heather card (#147010). For the butterflies in the corners I used the Grapefruit Grove Foil (##149712) and embossed them with the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143706) before cutting each of the butterflies from the larger butterfly. The other 2 butterflies were cut with the Butterfly Duet Punch (#148523) from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper (#149622). This DSP has coloured images on one side and black & white images on the reverse. Some of the butterflies co-ordinate with the punch, so makes cutting them so much easier. All the butterflies were attached to DSP from the Petal Promenade (#146913). I gold embosssed the beautiful image from the Beauty Abounds stamp set (#p148726) around the border of the DSP. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283), and the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This DSP was attached to a piece of Gorgeous Grape card from the Brights 12” x 12” cardstock (#147001). The background is Highland Heather card and DSP from the Botanical Butterfly DSP. The sentiment is also from Beauty Abounds stamp set, and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) onto Whisper White Card (#106549). These pieces were cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551) and attached to a piece of Highland Heather card, then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The Grapefruit Grove Foil is a Sale-a-bration product so free with a $90 order as is the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.

 Have a great day.
