Corner In Bloom stamp set

The Corner In Bloom stamp set (#164959) is one of the free products and I have used it on this card.

I stamped this floral image twice on Basic White base card (#159228) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I coloured the images with Stampin’ Blends - Highland Heather (#154887), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Bubble Bath (#161675), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Daffodil Delight (#154883).

The card front was matted with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). I wrapped the retired Gorgeous Grape ribbon around the card then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the With You In Mind stamp set (#164747) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). This set has larger sentiments which suits this card. The sentiment was cut with a Radiating Stitches die (#161595), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Spring Corners dies

 Welcome friends,

A pretty & glittery card using the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Specialty Paper (#163769).

I used the floral die from the Spring Corners dies (#164742) to cut the Basic White card (#159228). This was matted with the Berry Burst card (#144249). I then dry embossed this with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598) and taped it to the Basic White base card.

I used the same floral die to cut each of the 3 colours from the Glimmer Specialty Paper. I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of each piece. I then attached each piece into place on the card front. This can be a bit fiddly but worth the effort.

“Celebrate” from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143). This and the label underneath the sentiment were cut with the Mixed Labels dies (#164652). The sentiment was attached to the glimmer paper with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The small pink embellishments are from the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix (#164618) and I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) to attach them to the card.

Easy Scrapbooking

 Hello & Happy New Year again,

Every year I say to myself I am going to do more scrapbooking, so hopefully this will happen this year, especially with Stamp’ Up! having more scrapbooking products. So I am starting the year with Scrapbooking. My scrapbooking is always simple and I like to focus on the photos rather than all the embellishments, so here is a simple double page layout.

I matted the photos with Basic Black card (#121688). The base pages are from the Country Woods 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#163393).

The letters are cut with the Mini Alphabet dies (#162934) using Basic Black card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), so these are easy to attach to the page.

I cut the circles with the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) using Thoughtful Designs Designer Series Paper (#163317) and Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper (#164942) - available from Sale-a-bration from 7th January.

The leaves are cut with a die from the Painted Lavender dies (#162596) using Silver Foil Sheets (#163387), also backed with Adhesive Sheet. These adhesive sheets are great for all finer detailed die cuts.
