Luxe White Specialty Designer Series Paper

 Hi again everyone,

I hope this is the last Sympathy card I need to make for a while. I have used 2 of the designs from the Luxe White Specialty Paper (#167947) for the background.

The 2 pieces of DSP were matted with the Lemon Lolly from the Pastel Shimmer Specialty Paper (#167198), then attached to the Basic White base card. I used a full sheet of A4 and folded it in half for the card.

I have used the Butterfly Flight Hot Foil Dies (#170045) for the butterfly and this was also foiled onto the Lemon Lolly Pastel  Shimmer Specialty Paper.

The sentiment from the retired Peace On Earth stamp set was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and the frame were cut with a Phrases & Frames Impressions die (#167586). The sentiment and butterfly were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Botanical Glow Sympathy card

 Hi everyone,

I am in need of some Sympathy cards so couldn't go past the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Dies Bundle (#170057). I have also used some retired products.

I used the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Dies (#170056) with Gold Foil (#170066) on Basic White card (#166781). I then stamped the leaves from the Botanical Glow stamp set (#170054) with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102).

The doves are cut from the retired Peace On Earth dies using (retired) Brushed Metallic Cardstock.

The card front was matted with the Gold card and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the (retired) So Sincere stamp set was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added Gold Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and the gold card were cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597). The sentiment and doves were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

This is a larger card, using A4 card folded in half.

Floral Spray Embossing Folder

 Hello again friends,

As soon as I saw this Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder (#167946) from the new upcoming catalogue, I knew what I was going to make first. This gorgeous embossing folder would also be perfect for a wedding card.

This is a large folder - 15.2cmx21.6cm (or 6”x8-1/2”). I embossed the larger piece of Basic White card (#166781), then I embossed a smaller piece so that it would match the larger image when placed on top.

Both pieces were matted with Silver Foil Sheet (#163387). The larger piece was taped to the Basic White base card and the smaller piece was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) was added and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Everyday Arches dies (#164629) were used to cut the sentiment & Silver Foil under the sentiment. These were taped together and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Due to some family commitments I will be away for the next week, but will be back soon.

Fragrant Layers Sympathy card

 Hello everyone,

I seem to be using the Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) a lot lately and today I have made a variation of one from a few days ago but for a Sympathy card.

This is a larger card as I used a full A4 sheet of Basic White card (#166781) and folded it in half. I dry embossed the card front with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791). I cut 4 pieces with a die from the Natures Symphony dies (#166925) for the woodgrain pieces and these were taped to the card front.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The inside of the flowers were stamped with Bubble Bath ink (#161664) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) was used for the flower centres.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Painted Glass) and this was also gold heat embossed. A die from the Everyday Arches (#164629) was used to cut this. The retired Cross Of Hope dies was used for the cross using Gold Foil (#132622).

The flowers & sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Scalloped Wishes dies

 Hi friends,

A very elegant Sympathy card using some new products which will be available early March from the Online Exclusives.

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut this and the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper (#167199) with a die from the Scalloped Wishes dies. As this die cuts the oval and the scalloped frame with the one die, you need to cut the white card & silver card separately. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) over the oval & the frame to attach the pieces together.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (#167097). I matted this with the Lunar Lustre Specialty Paper. I cut 6 different leaves with the Delicate Whispers dies (#167505) using Basic White card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and these were attached to the card front.

The framed sentiment was attached to the card and the Moody Palette Glossy Dots (#167180) were added.

Peace On Earth Bundle

 Hi friends,

Today, demonstrators around the world joined together for “Creativity Now”, an online cardmaking day. We used products which will be available in the Mini Catalogue in September. (I can’t believe we are already talking about September).

This card today is made from some of the products. I needed a Sympathy card and the Peace On Earth Bundle (#165925) and Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928) were perfect for it.

For this card I used a full size A4 size Basic White card (#166781) and folded it in half. I dry embossed another piece of Basic White card with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (#165928). This card was matted with Silver Foil Sheet (#163387) and taped to the base card.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peace On Earth stamp set (#165918) with VersaMark (#102283) and used the Silver from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and the silver foil were cut with the label dies from the Peace On Earth dies (#165924). I taped these labels together and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The dove is also cut with a die from the same die set using Silver Foil. The cross is cut from long retired Cross Of Hope dies.

This card is simple but elegant, just what I like for a sympathy card.

Memorable Blooms

 Hello friends,

I need a couple of sympathy cards so here is one I have made using the Memorable Blooms Bundle (#164826).

I stamped the image from the Memorable Blooms stamp set (#164816) with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Silver powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678), then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Memorable Blooms die (#164825).

I then dry embossed the Basic White card (#159228) from which the floral image was cut out, with the Soft Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791). This was taped to the Silver Foil Sheet (#163387). The floral image was attached with Stampin Dimensionals (#104430) on top of where it was cut.

“With Sympathy” from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was also heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. I cut this with a Textured Notes die (#165555). Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the sentiment.

The embellishments are retired Festive Pearls.

Sympathy Card

 Hi everyone,

For Sympathy cards I like to have them mostly white with a touch of colour, and on this one I have used Silver.

The finished card is 12.5cm x 12.5 cm (or 5”x5”).

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Starstruck Embossing Folder (#164972). This is a Sale-a-bration product. The card front was attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut the hexagonals with the Meant To Bee dies (#166582), using Basic White card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). These were attached to the card front.

The flower from the Memorable Blooms stamp set (#164816) and the sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I added the Silver from the Wow! Metallics Embossing Powder (#165678) then this was set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

The flower was cut with the co-ordinating Memorable Blooms die (#164825) and the sentiment with an Autumn Leaves die (#162185).

The flower & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the card and I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the flowers.

Loveliest Tree Bundle

 Welcome again friends,

An easy card for this sympathy card using the Loveliest Tree Bundle (#163716).

The tree from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Garden Green ink (#147089) on Basic White card (#159228). I then added more colour to the tree using a Dauber and Garden Green ink. I used Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends (#161674) to colour the trunk. The tree was then cut with the co-ordinating Loveliest Tree dies (#163715).

I matted the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and attached this to the Basic White base card.

I dry embossed a smaller piece of Gold Foil with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598) and attached it to the card front. The tree was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment, also from the Loveliest Tree stamp set, was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut the sentiment with a Wild Ferns die (#162654). This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Sympathy card

Hello friends,

Unfortunately I need 2 Sympathy cards this week, so here is one that I have made using the beautiful Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177).

The detailed circle is cut with a die from the Irresistible Blooms dies (#161149) from Gold Foil (#132622) and the outside was cut with a retired circle die. I attached this to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The flowers from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555). As usual this was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment from the Seaside Bay stamp set (#160436) was also gold embossed.

The flowers and leaves were cut with the Irresistible blooms dies. A Meadow die (#155852) was used to cut the sentiment. I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the leaves.

The flower at the back was attached with Mini Glue Dots and the other 2 flowers and sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to finish the card.

Sympathy card

Hello again,

Unfortunately I needed a Sympathy card so have used the Wreath Builder Dies (#152722) for this card.

The base card and card front are Whisper White (#106549). I dry embossed the card front with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725), then wrapped the Silver 3/8” Metallic-Edge Ribbon (#144213) around the card. The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Painted Glass) but I like this as it is very elegant. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then cut this with the Stitched Nested Labels (#149638) and attached it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).
The wreath was cut from Silver Foil (#132178) using a die from the Wreath Builder dies (#152722). The flowers, also from the same die set were cut from Purple Posy card (#150887). The wreath and flowers were all attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Have a great day. Hopefully you won’t  be too busy with Christmas only days away.

Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper

Hello everyone,

With the lead up to the new catalogue in June, I have started to sort out some of my retiring products, so over the next couple of weeks I will try to use some of these products.

I chose two of the beautiful laser cut designs from the Shimmer Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (#149611). One is a border design and the other is the size of the card. These were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The sentiment from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which is set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used the Pretty Label Punch (#143715) to punch the sentiment, then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink (#147116). The fine leaves are cut from Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with a Birthday Die (#152590) and attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The retiring products used here are the Laser -Cut Specialty Paper, Pretty Label punch, Painted Glass stamp set and Birthday Dies.

Check the full retiring list here for the annual catalogue and here for the mini catalogue.

Stay safe & keep crafting!!

Sympathy card

Hello friends,

Unfortuneately I need a Sympathy card for a very special friend, so this is what I have made, and was very pleased with the finished card.

I used the Shimmery White cardstock (#121717). I used the full A4 sheet and folded it in half as I wanted a larger card. I used the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate (#150441) and attached this to the base card. I then cut another piece of Shimmery White card to create the “v” shape. I stamped the sentiments from the Hold Onto Hope stamp set (#c151243) and the Woven Heirlooms stamp set (#c149306). These were stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150889). The leaves are from Hold Onto Hope stamp set and stamped with Silvery Shimmer Ink (#150709). These 2 pieces of card were attached to the acetate. The crosses are cut with dies from the Cross Of Hope Dies (#145654). I used Silver Foil sheet (#132178) for the background cross and Seaside Spray card (#150889) for the detailed cross. I attached the cross to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Have a great day.

Sympathy Card

Hi Ladies & guys,

I needed a Sympathy card so I have used the Cross Of Hope Dies (#145654) and the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#151823), and both of these represent the person that this card is for.

I used a full sheet of the Shimmery White card (#121717) and folded it in half. I embossed a smaller piece of Shimmery White card with the Country Floral 3D embossing folder and I matted this with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638) to cut the Gold & white card for sentiment and the pieces under the cross. The cross was cut with dies from the Cross Of Hope Dies and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment is from the Painted Glass stamp set (#c151243) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The Shimmery White card has a lovely shimmer however I added extra shimmer to the embossed floral card using Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046).

Have a great day.

Daisy Lane with Frosted Frames Dies

Hello Ladies & Guys,

This beautiful Sympathy card could also be used for any special occasion, just by changing the sentiment.

I have used Seaside Spray (#150889) for the base card and Whisper White (#106549) for the card front and the daisies. The sentiment from Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150085), as well as the daisies from Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325). I stamped 2 large and 2 small daisies, then punched them with the Daisy Punch (#143713) and Medium Daisy Punch (#149517) and assembled them with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430). The leaves from Daisy Lane stamp set were stamped with Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink (#150709). The Sparkle Glimmer Paper (#146957) leaves were cut with a die from the Frosted Frames Dies (#150658) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots. The ribbon is Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446) and the embellishment in the centre of the flower is from the 2019-2021 In Colour Faceted Dots (#149607). I added glitter to the daisies with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897).

I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
