Notes Of Spring Stamp Set

 Hello stamping friends,

Each month Stampin’ Up! has a new Product Of The Month which in Australia you can purchase for $9 with a $125 order. These products will carry over if they are still in stock. I have used 2 products of the month on today’s card - Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) and the Notes Of Spring Stamp Set (#167979).

I stamped the outline of deer from the stamp set with Pecan Pie ink (#161665). Then I stamped the inside with Pecan Pie ink but stamped off first to get the lighter colour.

I then stamped the deer onto Masking paper (#155480) and cut around the image. I placed this over the original stamped image and stamped the grass on either side of the deer. Using the masking method it avoids stamping over the deer and gives the illusion of the deer in front of the grass. I then stamped the smaller grass image at the front and sides. I used Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the grass. The deer was then cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580).

The Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper was used for the card front and attached to the Basic White Base card (#166781).

I used one of the dies from the Nature’s Symphony dies (#166925) to cut the rows of dots along the bottom of the Vellum Specialty Paper (#167099). Another die was used to cut the “woodgrain” piece from Gold Foil (#132622).

“Happiest Birthday Wishes” is from the Notes Of Spring stamp set and I stamped this with Pecan Pie ink. This was cut with a (retired) Beautiful Butterflies die.

The Granny Apple Green card (#147014), backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) was used for the leaves cut with the Delicate Wishes dies (#167505).

When using Vellum, I add all the pieces to the vellum before attaching the vellum to the card. Then I attach the vellum using adhesive only in the areas that won’t be visible. The leaves were attached with the adhesive sheet, I taped the gold woodgrain, the Circle was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The embellishments are the Natural Matte Dots (#167510).

Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack

 Hello & welcome,

You can’t go past gold for an elegant card. I have used the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack (#166980) for the flower, leaves & oval frames.

I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front (#166785) with the Joined Together Embossing Folder (#165170). Then I heat embossed the edges with the Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). To embossed the edges I wiped the VersaMark pad (#102283) along one edge, added the embossing powder, then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I did each side this way.

The card front was taped to the Very Vanilla base card.

The sentiment from the Greenery Lane stamp set (#166870) was also Gold Heat embossed. This was cut with a retired oval die and I attached these together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). This was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The outside frame was also attached with Mini Glue Dots. The flower & leaves were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Flower Accents (#165171) were added to the card.

Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape

 Hello again friends,

The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape (#165269) is a wide tape with floral and leafy patterns which can be cut with the Extraordinary Flora die (#165244).

I attached the tape to Basic White card (#166781) before cutting with the die. The die cuts out a variety of images at one time.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder (#167197), then matted with Strawberry Slush card (#165297) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Strawberry Slush ink (#165286). I used dies from the Forever Florals dies (#167443) to cut the sentiment and the Strawberry Slush card under the sentiment. These were taped together then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The die cut floral images were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments used are Strawberry Slush & Pretty In Pink Gems (#165615) and the Brushed Brass Butterflies (now retired).

Forever Florals Bundle

 Hi everyone,

I love the beautiful detailed dies in the Forever Florals dies (#167443) which are part of the Forever Florals Bundle (#167444).

I have used Very Vanilla card (#166785) for the card front and base card. The card front was cut with the larger die from the set and I glued this to the base card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) was used for the leaves, also cut with dies from this set. These were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Thinking Of You” is from the Forever Florals stamp set (#167440). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I heat embossed this with Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This and the gold foil were also cut with dies from the Forever Florals dies.

The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Antique Pearls (#164679) were added to the card.

A quick & easy card but very elegant.

Inspiring Imperfections Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Inspiring Imperfections Bundle (#165167) has been used on today’s card along with other products included in the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection (#165172).

I dry embossed the Misty Moonlight Two-Tone cardstock (#166686) with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder (#165170). I then tore the edge to show the white core. I attached the lighter side to the Basic White base card (#166781), then attached the darker side showing the white torn edge. A piece of the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165159) was attached to the card.

I stamped the vases from the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set (#165161) using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118) onto the Misty Moonlight Two-Tone cardstock and Basic White card. These were cut with an Inspiring Imperfections die (#165166). The 2 floral pieces were also cut with the dies using Gold Foil (#132622).

“Just A Note” from the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and punched with the Three Banner Punch (#167050).

The blue vase was taped to the card and the white vase was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The gold foil flowers were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are the Flower Accents (#165171).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the vases.

Fragrant Layers Sympathy card

 Hello everyone,

I seem to be using the Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) a lot lately and today I have made a variation of one from a few days ago but for a Sympathy card.

This is a larger card as I used a full A4 sheet of Basic White card (#166781) and folded it in half. I dry embossed the card front with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (#163791). I cut 4 pieces with a die from the Natures Symphony dies (#166925) for the woodgrain pieces and these were taped to the card front.

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The inside of the flowers were stamped with Bubble Bath ink (#161664) and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) was used for the flower centres.

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set (Painted Glass) and this was also gold heat embossed. A die from the Everyday Arches (#164629) was used to cut this. The retired Cross Of Hope dies was used for the cross using Gold Foil (#132622).

The flowers & sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Simply Beautiful Bundle

 Hello friends,

You don’t need a lot on a card with large images like this flower & leaves from the Simply Beautiful Bundle (#166980).

I stamped the flower from the Simply Beautiful stamp set (#166958) with VersaMark (#102283) onto Poppy Parade card (#121694). I added the White powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165679) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056).

For the leaves from the same stamp set I stamped them with VersaMark onto Granny Apple Green card (#147014) and added Clear powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders and heat set this. If you just stamp onto coloured card with VersaMark you will get a darker image of the same colour, so by adding the clear embossing powder you get an embossed image in the same colour but darker.

The flower & leaves were cut with the Simply Beautiful dies (#166964). I flicked the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flower & leaves to get spots of glimmer.

The card front is from the Garden Poetry Designer Series Paper (#167113) and matted with Poppy Parade card, then attached it to the Basic White card front (#166781).

The flower was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

“Thinking Of You” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). This was fussy cut, then attached with Mini Glue Dots and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The retired Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the card.

Paradise Garden Bundle

 Hello & welcome,

I have used 3 of the 2024-2026 In colours that will be retiring in May, when we will have 5 more new in colours. The colours I have used are Shy Shamrock ink (#163808), Petunia Pop ink (#163811) and Pretty In Pink ink (#163807).

The stamp set used for all the images is Paradise Garden (#167114) and the dies are from the co-ordinating Paradise Garden dies (#167120). These are part of the Paradise Garden Bundle (#167121). This set of dies also has a hybrid embossing folder which means you can use the folder and a die to cut and emboss at the same time, or you can use the embossing folder as normal which is what I have done on the Basic White card front (#166781).

The card front was matted with Petunia Pop card (#163802) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves and 2 larger flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The sentiment and smaller flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I added glimmer to the flowers & leaves with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). The embellishments are from the retired Charming Day Shimmer Faceted Dots.

Fragrant Layers stamp set

 Hello again friends,

I was very happy with the results of this card in neutral colours using the Fragrant layers stamp set (#167150).

I stamped the outline of larger floral image and the individual flowers with Pecan Pie ink (#161665) onto Very Vanilla card (#166785). I then stamped the inside of the flowers with Crumb Cake ink (#166787), the leaves with Basic Beige ink (#163806) and the flower centres with Darling Duckling ink (#165277) - stamped off.

The card front is Woodgrain Wonders Designer Series Paper (#167428) and matted with Pecan Pie card (#161726). The base card is Very Vanilla.

I cut the 2 woodgrain pieces from Pecan Pie card using a die from the Nature’s Symphony dies (#166925). These were taped to the card front.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) and stamped with Pecan Pie ink. I cut this with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183) and also taped this to the card.

The flowers were fussy cut, then I cut the larger image in 2 pieces. All the flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Glimmer was added to the flowers using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897). The Antique Pearls (#164679) were added to finish the card.

Fragrant Layers

 Hello friends,

The Fragrant Layers dies (#167154) is perfect for paper piecing which I have done on this card. It’s a bit fiddly but worth the effort.

I cut the outline image from Secret Sea card (#165296) and attached this to a piece of Basic White card (#166781). I then cut the flowers & leaves from different coloured card which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making each piece easy to attach in the correct place. The card used is Berry Burst (#144249), Petunia Pop (#163802), Fresh Freesia (#155614), Bubble Bath (#161727), Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Coastal Cabana (#131302).

The Bubble Bath card front was dry embossed with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (#167097) and matted with Secret Sea card. This was attached to the Basic White base card. The floral image was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143) onto Bubble Bath card. A die from the Fragrant Layers dies was used to cut the sentiment. I cut it a second time with Secret Sea card for the “frame” around the sentiment. The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The retired Two-Tone Sparkle Gems were added to the card. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the flowers & leaves to add a touch of glimmer.

Delicate Whispers

 Hi friends,

The Delicate Whispers Bundle (#167506) has been used for the flowers & stamped leaves on this card.

The Soft Sea Foam card front (#147012) was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600) and matted with Timid Tiger card (#165298) then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

I stamped the strip of Basic White card with images from the Delicate Whispers stamp set (#167500) using Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). This was taped to the card front.

I cut the Basic White frame using a Scalloped Wishes die (#167452) and I glued this to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The flowers from the Delicate Wishes stamp set were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Copper powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder (#165678) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were cut with a Delicate Whispers die (#167505).

I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the floral images - Timid Tiger (#165291), Peach Pie (#163827), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Lemon Lime Twist (#161682). The flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers. Pearlized Faceted Circles (#166978) were added to finish the card.

Product Of The Month

 Hi everyone,

Each month there is a new Product Of The Month which can be purchased at a reduced price with a qualifying order (in Australia it is $9 with a $125 order). These products are available while stocks last and will carry over if they are still in stock. This month’s Product of the Month is the Notes Of Spring stamp set (#167979).

I thought these cute little animals from this stamp set would make a great baby card.

The outline of the  rabbit, duck & deer were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678) which were set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

I stamped the inside area of the rabbit with Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Lemon Lolly ink (#161666) for the duck and Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the deer.

The circles were cut with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). The stamped images were attached to the coloured card - Bubble Bath (#161727), Lemon Lolly (#161729) and Crumb Cake (#121685) using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The card front is from the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) which is also a Product Of The Month. This was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The circles were taped to the card. “Congratulations” is from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set (#165243) and also Gold Embossed. Another die from the Stylish Shapes dies was used to cut the sentiment. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to each of the stamped images.

The embellishments are from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots (#162758). The dot under the deer was coloured with a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend (#154882).

Fragrant Layers Bundle

 Hi crafty friends,

The Fragrant Layers Bundle (#167155) has been used for this card today. The bundle consists of the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) and the Fragrant Layers dies (#167154).

(This was a bit hard to photograph with the shiny specialty paper, but looks lovely in real life.)

I stamped the floral image with Secret Sea ink (#165285) onto Basic White card (#166781). This stamp set is a Two-Step set which allows you to stamp the outline and the solid inside images separately. For the flowers I used Strawberry Slush ink (#165286), Summer Splash ink (#163808) for the leaves and Darling Duckling ink (#165277) for the flower centres.

The Tungsten Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772) was cut with a Fragrant Layers die, then I dry embossed this with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Powder (#161600). This was placed over the stamped floral image, then matted with Strawberry Slush card (#165297). The base card is Basic White.

“Just A Note” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Strawberry Slush ink. The die to cut the sentiment is also from the Fragrant Layers dies. I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are from the retired Two-Tone Sparkle Gems.

Scalloped Wishes

 Hi friends,

How cute are these dragonflies from the Scalloped Wishes Bundle (#167447). Do you find you use the larger images in a set and forget about the smaller ones? I do, so thought I would use the dragonflies without all the other images from this bundle.

The curved card and DSP were cut with a die from the Paradise Garden dies (#167120). The DSP is from the Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper (#167977) and the coloured card is Secret Sea (#165296). After cutting the Secret Sea card with the die, I cut it in half (longways) and attached this to the DSP & sentiment.

“Happy Birthday” is from the stamp set from the Virtual Card Retreat (#170026) and stamped with Secret Sea ink (#165285).

These die cut pieces were attached to the Basic White card front (#166781) which was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder (#161600). This was matted with Secret Sea card.

The die cut dragonflies were cut with dies from the Scalloped Wishes dies (#167452) using the Tungsten from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The small stamped dragonflies are from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set (#167447) and stamped with Secret Sea ink and cut with a Scalloped Wishes die. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach these to the card.

Scalloped Wishes Bundle

 Hello stamping friends,

The Scalloped Wishes Bundle (#167453) which consists of the Scalloped Wishes stamp set (#167447) and Scalloped Wishes dies (#167452) have been used on this card.

I stamped the border from the stamp set on the Basic White card (#166781) with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). This and the DSP from the Wood Grain Wonders (#167428) were cut with the dies.

The card front is from the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper (#166992) was matted with Crushed Curry card (#131288) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves were cut with dies from the Delicate Whispers dies (#167505) and the Scalloped Wishes dies. I used Old Olive card (#106576) and Mossy Meadow card (#133683), both backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

The woodgrain scalloped oval was taped to the card front and the leaves were attached. The stamped scalloped oval was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Have The Best Day” from the Cutest Crew stamp set (#167146) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087) and cut with a retired Happy Hibiscus die. This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The flowers and dragonfly were cut with dies from the Scalloped Wishes dies. The fancy corners are from the Beautifully Celebrated dies (#166974). The corners & dragonfly was cut from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (#163772). I used Crushed Curry card for the flowers.

The flowers & dragonfly were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The corners were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Low Profile Sparkle Dots (#166157) were added to the flower centres.

Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set

 Hi everyone,

This floral image is from one of the stamp sets from the Virtual Card Making Retreat (#170026). I had some leftover die cut pieces for this image, so stamped the image on that.

This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165678). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder.

The flowers were coloured with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675), Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518) and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887). For the leaves I used Pool Party Stampin’ Blends (#154894) and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends (#163826). Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) was used in the centre of the flowers.

I used Summer Splash card (#163798) for the green leaves and gold from the Textured Metallic Specialty Paper (3163772) for the smaller leaves. For the green die cut leaves, I cut this in half so I could tuck it under the floral image in 2 places.

I dry embossed the Highland Heather card front (#147010) with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder (#167179). The Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (#164607) was taped to the card front and this was attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The stamped flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The embellishments are the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) and Two-Tone Sparkle Gems (#164633). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers.
