Gears & Textures

 Welcome everyone,

A great masculine card using the Gears & Textures dies (#166853).

The gears were cut from Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper (#165901) and Gold Foil sheet (#132622).

The Party Banners dies (#165264) were used to cut the banners from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (#163393).

The card front is from the Wood Grain Wonders Designer Series Paper (#167428) and attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#166785).

I dry embossed a piece of the Night Of Navy Two Tone card stock (#166684) with the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder (#167744). This was then sanded to reveal the white core. I also tore the edge, again showing the white core.

I taped the two tone card and the banners to the card. The 2 larger gears were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the small gold gear was attached to the larger one with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The sentiment is from the Phrases & Frames stamp set (#167581) and this was stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). A die from the Ferns & Flora dies (#168991) was used to cut the sentiment. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card. The embellishments are the Pressed Flower Motifs (#165215).

Inspiring Imperfections Bundle

 Hi friends,

The Inspiring Imperfections Bundle (#165167) has been used on today’s card along with other products included in the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection (#165172).

I dry embossed the Misty Moonlight Two-Tone cardstock (#166686) with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder (#165170). I then tore the edge to show the white core. I attached the lighter side to the Basic White base card (#166781), then attached the darker side showing the white torn edge. A piece of the Kintsugi Inspirations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#165159) was attached to the card.

I stamped the vases from the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set (#165161) using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118) onto the Misty Moonlight Two-Tone cardstock and Basic White card. These were cut with an Inspiring Imperfections die (#165166). The 2 floral pieces were also cut with the dies using Gold Foil (#132622).

“Just A Note” from the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150) was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink and punched with the Three Banner Punch (#167050).

The blue vase was taped to the card and the white vase was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The gold foil flowers were glued with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The sentiment was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are the Flower Accents (#165171).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the vases.

Layers Of Beauty

Hi again everyone,

A pretty card using the Layers Of Beauty Stamp set (#163514) with the co-ordinating Layers Of Beauty dies (#163518) and Layers Of Beauty Decorative Masks (#163517). These masks make colouring so easy.

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781). There are 5 different masks, which are numbered, so starting at number 1, and colouring with a Blending Brush (#153611), I used Fresh Freesia ink (#155611), followed by Highland Heather ink  (#147103), and Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The leaves were coloured with Summer Splash ink (#163809). For the first layer I very lightly blended the colour, then for the last mask I used the same colour but added extra colour for the darker finish.

This coloured image and leaves are cut with the Layers Of Beauty dies. I used Summer Splash card (#163798) and Coastal Cabana card (#131302), both backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) for the leaves.

I used a piece of Fresh Freesia Two Tone card (#166666) and tore it to show the White core. These 2 pieces were dry embossed with the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (#165597). I used both the light & darker side. These were attached to the Basic White card front, then matted with Highland Heather card (#147010) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut off part of the floral image and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves were attached.

The sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink. I cut the sentiment with a die from the Layers Of Beauty. However this die is too small for the sentiment, so I positioned the die and cut half of the sentiment, then re-positioned the die to cut the other half. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Sunrise Sailing Bundle

 Hello again,

A masculine card today using the Sunrise Sailing Bundle (#165497). This bundle includes the Sunrise Sailing stamp set (#165491) and the Sunrise sailing dies (#165496).

I cut the Misty Moonlight Two Tone card stock (#166686) into 2cm strips and taped them to a piece of Basic White card (#166781) with a 5mm space in between. I alternated the strips with the light & darker colours of the Two Tone card. I cut this with a Textured Notes die (#165555). This was matted with Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sailing boat from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Sunrise Sailing dies.

The sentiment is also from this stamp set and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. A die from Textured Notes was used to cut the sentiment. The sailing boat and sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I have had a very busy few weeks and now will be away for the next couple of weeks. I was hoping to have cards to post while away but that didn't happen, so I will be back soon.

Charming Day dies

 Hi again friends,

These beautiful die cut flowers are cut with the Charming Day dies (#166135).

I cut strips of the Poppy Parade Two-Tone cardstock (#166692) and glued  them to a piece of Basic White card (#166781) using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I alternated the dark & light colours. This was then cut with a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580).

The card front was dry embossed with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder (#163789). The edges were daubered with Poppy Parade ink (#147050) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The circle was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Thinking Of You” from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set (#165198) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink and cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614).

The flowers & sentiment were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The retired Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the card.

Two-Tone cardstock

 Hello again friends,

Have you seen the Two-Tone cardstock? This cardstock has a white core, so it’s great for a variety of techniques. On this card I dry embossed the card, then sanded it to reveal the white core.

Also, the cardstock has a dark shade on one side and a lighter shade of the same colour on the other side. I have dry embossed the darker side of the Darling Duckling Two-Tone card (#166707) with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder (#166145), then using a fine sandpaper I sanded the card to reveal the white core. I splattered the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) over the card front to give some glimmer all over. This was matted with Secret Sea card (#165296), then attached to the Basic White base card (#166781).

The sentiment from the Charming Day stamp set (#166126) was stamped with Secret Sea ink (#165285), onto the lighter side of the Darling Duckling card. I used dies from the Happy Hibiscus dies (#164879) to cut the sentiment and the circle. The circle was taped to the card front and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment.

The embellishments are from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (#165192).

Lovely Garden

 Hello friends,

I fussy cut the floral image from the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (#165524) for today’s card.

The green card is from the Two-Tone 12”x12” Garden Green cardstock (#166665). This is new in the upcoming catalogue. One side is a darker shade of the colour and the reverse side is a lighter shade of the same colour. This card has a white core, so I dry embossed the lighter side with the Eyelet Embossing Folder (#163414) then lightly sanded it to show the white on the raised areas. I matted this card with Basic White card (#159228) then again with the darker side of the Two-Tone card. This was then attached to the Basic White base card.

The Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) were cut with the 2 leaf dies from the Thankful Garden dies (#165533). I attached the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The fussy cut flowers were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“With Love” is from the Thankful Garden stamp set (#165526) and stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#147051), then cut with an Around It All die (#164725). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The bow is made using the Gold from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) and attached with a Mini Glue Dot.

Two-Tone cardstock

 Hi friends,

The Two-Tone Cardstock has a white core with a dark shade on one side and a light shade of the same colour on the opposite side. These are available in the new upcoming catalogue. There are some colours already available with the Scrapbooking kits. I have used Pool Party on this card.

I dry embossed the Two-Tone card (166691) with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317). I then lightly sanded the surface to reveal the white core. I finely matted this with Poppy Parade card (#121694) then matted this with the lighter side of the Two-Tone cardstock.

I cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with a die from the Thoughtful Wishes (#163313). The gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This was attached to the card front.

The bird is from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) and stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). I cut this with the Everyday Arches dies (#164629). “Happy Birthday” from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) was also stamped with Poppy Parade ink, then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). The bird & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (#164070) were added to the card.

With the new catalogue starting on 6th May, there is now an updated list of Last Chance Products which you can find here - https://www.stampinup.com.au

Two-Tone Cardstock

 Hi again my friends,

Today I want to show you the new Two-tone Cardstock which is now available from Stampin’ Up! I have used the Mossy Meadow from the Autumn To Remember 12”x12” Two-Tone Cardstock (#166499). There are a variety of colours available and over the coming months all Stampin’ Up! Colours will be available. There are some packs with single colours and other packs with a variety of colours.

This Two-tone cardstock means that one side is the full strength colour and the other side is a lighter version of the colour. It also has a white core.

I dry embossed the Mossy Meadow Two-tone card with the Changing Leaves Embossing Folder (#164138). Then I gently sanded the card which removes some of the colour and reveals the white on the embossed areas. I also tore a piece of the card and used the lighter reverse side and attached it to the bottom of the card. I matted this card front with Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) and attached it to the Basic White card (#159228).

I fussy cut a bird from the Nests Of Winter 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#164183). I cut the other bird with a Deckled Circles die (#162286), as well as the Cherry Cobbler circle & the sentiment.

“Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). The fussy cut bird and the circle with the bird were both attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The embellishments are from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164204). I added some glimmer to the birds with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).
