Botanical Bliss with Hold Onto Hope

Hello Ladies & Guys,

I’m disappointed that the beautiful Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503) is retiring so I am using it as much as I can. However there are some new exciting folders in the next catalogue which I will be looking forward to using.

All the cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550). After embossing the card front I lightly dragged the VersaMark ink pad (#102283) over the card, then sprinkled it with the Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636). I didn't want an even cover, so if there were areas with too much powder, I used a small brush to remove some powder before setting it with the Heat Tool (#129056). The edges were sponged with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The 1/4” Copper Trim (#144179) is a loose weave trim which allows you to pull it to open it out to a wider ribbon, which is what I have done here before attaching it to the card. The leaves from Hold Onto Hope stamp set (#145780) were stamped with Call Me Clover ink (#147139) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Cross Of Hope Dies (#145654). The flowers are from the Botanical Bliss stamp set (#146612) and I stamped these with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) then fussy cut them. I coloured the flowers with Stampin’ Blends - Poppy Parade Combo (#147275), Mango Melody Combo (#147945) and Light Shaded Spruce (#147936). The sentiment is from the Botanical Bliss stamp set and stamped with Poppy Parade ink. I used a die from the Stitched Labels Dies (#146828) to cut the sentiment. The leaves, yellow flower and sentiment were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the embellishments are the Gilded Gems (#152478). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to add a little sparkle to parts of the flowers.

The retiring products here are Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder, Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Hold Onto Hope stamp set, Cross Of Hope Dies, Botanical Bliss stamp set, Stitched Labels Dies, Call Me Clover ink and the 1/4” Copper Trim.

You may have noticed in the retiring list that the Stampin’ Blends are included, but don’t stress they aren’t retiring. Currently they can be purchased separately but in future will only be sold in a combo with the light and dark, so the product numbers will be different.

Detailed Peacock Dies

Hello friends,

This card uses both retiring and new products and I love the gold and Very Vanilla together.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) have also been used. I cut the right hand border from the base card with a die from the Ornate Borders Dies (#152724), then placed the piece of Gold Foil under this. I embossed another piece of Very Vanilla card with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503) and attached this to the base card. I then wrapped a piece of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon (#152156) around the card. The peacock is cut with a die from the Detailed Peacock Dies (#149582) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Birthday Wishes” is from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set (#149346) and I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Dies (#141706) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The retiring products on this card are the Detailed Peacock Dies, Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and the Gold Shimmer Ribbon.

Fanciful Fragrance

Hello,

The Fanciful Fragrance stamp set (#c149281) which is where you will find these stamped flowers, is another of the retiring products.

I stamped the floral image 3 times using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then fussy cut them. I coloured them with Stampin’ Blends using Light Real Red (#147933), Light Shaded Spruce (#147936) and Light Mango Melody (#147943). The base card is Real Red (#106578) and Whisper White card (#106549) has been used for the card front. The white card was embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503) and I wrapped the Real Red 3/8” Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon (#151155) around this. The Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) was cut with a die from the Painted Labels Dies (#151605) and this was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The floral images were also attached with Dimensionals. “Thank You For Caring” is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set (#c151220) and stamped with Real Red ink (#106578) and punched with the 1-3/8” Scallop Circle (#146139). The trio of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) were added to the top right of the card and I also added some to the flower centres.

The retiring products are the Fanciful Fragrance stamp set, Coastal Weave 3D Embossing folder, Label Me Pretty stamp set and 1-3/8” Scallop Circle Punch.

Country Home with Ornate Style Bundle

These flowers are from the Ornate Style stamp set (#c152572), but they are a cut down version.

I stamped the flowers and can with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then fussy cut the image. I wanted to “place” the flowers in the can but with the full image they looked a bit top heavy, so I cut some of the flowers off. I coloured the flowers and leaves with the following Stampin’ Blends - Mango Melody Combo (#147945), Old Olive Combo (#144597), Flirty Flamingo Combo (#147278) and Light Rococo Rose (#149570). The can was coloured with Smokey Slate Combo (#145058). The can is from the Country Home stamp set (#p147678). The can and flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Whisper White card was cut with an Ornate Layers Die (#152726), then attached to the So Saffron card (#108611) which I had embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503). The base card is Whisper White. “Many Thanks” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c151331), stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), then cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664). Silver Metallic Thread (#138402) was added to the sentiment and the Gold Faceted Gems (#144141) were added to the flower centre. I cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with the Birthday Dies (#153590) to get the little leafy pieces.

Timeless Tropical

Hi everyone,

I’m using the gorgeous Timeless Tropical stamp set (#151497) again today.

I stamped the Hibiscus and leaves with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were then cut with the In The Tropics Dies (#151495). The Coastal Cabana (#131302) leaves are cut with a die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586) and the Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) buds were cut with a Happy Birthday Die (#153590). I sponged the edges of the Coastal Cabana leaves with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096) as well as the inner part of the flower. The flowers and leaves were layered onto a piece of Bermuda Bay card (#131286) which was cut with the rectangular die from Nature’s Thoughts dies, then embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503). Happy Birthday from Music From The Heart stamp set (#p151674) was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink on Whisper White card (#106549). This card was sponged around the edges with Bermuda Bay ink, then attached to the Whisper White base card. I finished the card by adding a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#144220) to the centre of the Hibiscus.

Timeless Tropical Bundle

The hibiscus flower, frangipani flowers and leaves are all from the Timeless Tropical stamp set (#151497). The Timeless Tropical Bundle (#c153811) includes this stamp set and the In The Tropics Dies (#151495)

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and the flowers were also stamped on Whisper White card. The hibiscus was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056) I then coloured this with Dark & Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#144603) and Light Real Red Stampin’ Blends (#147933) for the stamen. The frangipanis were stamped with Mango Melody ink (#147093) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) onto Pear Pizzaz card (#131290). The flowers and leaves were cut with the In The Tropics Dies. The Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) was embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503). The sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set was stamped with Mango Melody ink. This was punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch (#151296). I punched it a second time to make it a bit smaller, then punched a piece of Pear Pizzaz card, which I placed behind the slightly smaller sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I added a bow made with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485). The Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) were added to the card and flowers.

Happy Birthday To You

Welcome everyone,

The Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set (#c152308) is another Sale-a-bration product and includes this beautiful birthday cake. I know you all love co-ordinating dies, and the Birthday Dies (#153590) which cut out various elements of this image will be available to order from 4th February.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549) and I added the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) to the right side. This was embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503). I cut the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#148551). The birthday cake was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). The flowers were coloured with Petal Pink Combo Stampin’ Blends (#147272), the leaves with Soft Sea Foam Combo Stampin’ Blends (#148059) and the berries/buds with Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends (#144042). Shimmer was added to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). This was then cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). “Celebrate” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c151331) and also Gold embossed. This was cut with a die from the Ornate Frames Dies (#150664). The die only has a hole in one end as well as the little cut outs in the corners, so I turned the die around and cut it a second time so it was the same on both ends. I then threaded the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack (#149485) through the holes and attached the sentiment to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the Christmastime Is Here Suite Bundle (153947) and this gorgeous suite is still available.
