Detailed Peacock Dies

Hi again friends,

Here is another very sparkly card, again using retiring products.

I have used Whisper White card (#106549), Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (#149495) and Silver Glimmer Paper (#146960). I stamped the Crackle Paint background stamp (#148752) with VersaMark (#102283) and sprinkled it with the Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#149511). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This white card was attached to a piece of the Pretty Peacock Noble Peacock Foil Sheet. Instead of “wasting” the foil sheets when you are covering most of it, you can cut a piece from the centre and use it for another project. Another possibility is to cut the peacock from the centre, leaving enough around the edges to attach the white card. The peacock is cut with a Detailed Peacock Die (#149582) and glued to the cardfront with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The Silver Glimmer Paper border was cut with a die from the Flourish Dies (#141478) and also glued to the card. The sentiment from the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set (#c151490) was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096), then cut with the Layering Circles Dies (#141705). I attached this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to finish the card.

The retiring products on this card are the Detailed Peacock Dies, Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, Flourish Dies and Noble Peacock Foil Sheets.

Detailed Peacock Dies

Hello friends,

This card uses both retiring and new products and I love the gold and Very Vanilla together.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) have also been used. I cut the right hand border from the base card with a die from the Ornate Borders Dies (#152724), then placed the piece of Gold Foil under this. I embossed another piece of Very Vanilla card with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder (#151503) and attached this to the base card. I then wrapped a piece of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon (#152156) around the card. The peacock is cut with a die from the Detailed Peacock Dies (#149582) and attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Birthday Wishes” is from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set (#149346) and I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) and added Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The ovals were cut with the Layering Ovals Dies (#141706) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The retiring products on this card are the Detailed Peacock Dies, Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder and the Gold Shimmer Ribbon.

Detailed Peacock Dies

Hi and Welcome,

I was having a play with the Pigments Sprinkles (#149663) today and created this beautiful background. These are watercolour pigment crystals which you cam mix with water for unique backgrounds. The colours in the pack are Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo.

There are various methods you can use, but I very lightly sprinkled each of the 6 colours onto the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (#149612). A little goes a long way. Usually you would then spray it lightly with water but I decided to try using Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046) which I had in a Stampin’ Spritzer (#126185) which was mixed with rubbing alcohol. I was very happy with the results as it helped disperse the colours as well as giving the lovely shimmer on the card. The more you spritz the card the more the colours will mix and blend. After the card was dried - I used the Heat Tool (#129056), but you can let it dry naturally - I embossed it with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (#150646). The peacock was cut with a Detailed Peacock Die (#149582) from Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). This was glued to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) using a Stampin’ Sponge (#141337). For this method I squeezed some glue onto a Silicon Craft Sheet (#127853), and dabbed the sponge onto the glue. Then I gently dabbed the glue all over the back of the peacock which is placed onto the craft sheet. This ensures you have glue on all the detailed pieces so is easy to glue to the card. The sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (#149298) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550) and cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#148551), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is also Very Vanilla and the cardfront was matted with Gorgeous Grape card.

Royal Peacock

Hello again,

I couldn’t resist a bit of glitter and bling on this beautiful peacock from the Royal Peacock stamp set (#149464). (It looks much better in reality).

I stamped the peacock with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Then I stamped the feathers also with VersaMark and this time added the Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#149511). The peacock was cut with a die from the Detailed Peacock Dies (#149582). This was attached to the Pretty Peacock paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper  (#149617) using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) was cut with a Delicate Lace Die (#147053). “Thinking Of You” is from the Darling Label Stamp set which is part of the Darling Label Punch Box (#146855). This was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150886) and the 2 circles were cut with the Layering Circles Dies (#141705). The Noble Peacock Rhinestones (#149494) were added to the peacock. The base card is Whisper White (#106549).

Detailed Peacock Dies

Have you seen the stunning Noble Peacock suite? If not take a closer look as it is beautiful. I have made a simple card with some of the products today.

I used Very Vanilla cardstock (#106550). The smaller piece was embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder (#151785). The peacock was cut with a die from the Detailed Peacock Dies (#149582) from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (#149495). There are 3 colours in this set - Blueberry Bushel, Old Olive and Pretty Peacock. They also co-ordinate with the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper (149493) which have foil accents, and I have used the Pretty Peacock on the left side of the card. I attached the peacock to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). “For You” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c151331) and stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096). I punched this with the Classic Label Punch (#141491). I added the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (#149494) to finish the card.
