Dahlia Days Bundle

Hello friends,

The Dahlia Days Bundle (#157801) has been used to make this beautiful card.

I cut the Basic White card (#159228) with a Detailed Dahlias Die (#157801) for the detailed background. I cut another piece of Basic White card with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) to create the window. I attached the detailed background behind the window, then attached this to the Copper Foil Sheet (#142020), then to the Basic White base card.

The flowers and leaves are from the Dahlia Days stamp set (#157799). These were stamped with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), Real Red ink (#147084) and Garden Green ink (#147089). These were cut with the Detailed Dahlias Dies.

“Thinking Of You” from the Expressions Of Friendship stamp set (#158460) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut this with a Seasonal Labels Die (#156299). The edges of the sentiment were daubered with Sahara Sand ink (#147117).

The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the flowers & sentiment. The embellishment are the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193).

Embossing On Black Glitter Paper

Hello again,

The technique for today’s card has been “CASED” from Melody Hyde who is the Concept Art Manager at Stampin’ Up! I just loved the result so wanted to share it with you.

I placed a Decorative Mask from the Plenty Of Patterns pack (#155553) on top of the Black 12”x12” Glitter Paper (#153518). I used some post-it notes to mask an area, then rubbed the VersaMark (#102283) over the decorative mask and glitter paper. I added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder then set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I repeated the process using Silver and Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  These 3 embossing powders are all available together in the Metallics Emboss Powders (#155555). The decorative mask prevents the VersaMark from being applied to the glitter paper, therefore the embossing powder doesn’t stick to it, allowing the Black Glitter Paper to show.

“Just Want To Say” is from a die in the Floral Gallery dies (#154316). I used the Copper Foil Sheets (#142020) to cut these words which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back. “Happy Birthday” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201). This was Copper Embossed onto the Silver Foil from the Silver Foil 12”x12” Specialty Pack (#156457). This was cut with another die from the Floral Gallery dies and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The beautifully embossed card front was attached to the Basic Black base card (#121688).

Stitched Stars Dies

Hello again,

The Stitched Stars Dies (#150653) have been used to cut these detailed stars.

These stars were cut from Copper Foil Sheets (#142020) which were backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting. They were adhered to the Seaside Spray card (#150889) as well as the triangle of the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (#150429). The card front was attached to the Night Of Navy card (#106577), then this card was attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549).
The sentiment is from the Joyful Holly stamp set (#p153440) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was then cut with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment to the card.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Let It Ride

Welcome friends,

Another stamp set I haven’t used for a while is the Let It Ride stamp set (#148765), so pulled it out for this masculine card.

The horses were stamped with the Saddle Brown StazOn ink (#151508). The horse on the right was fussy cut, then coloured with the Ivory Stampin’ Blends (#144606). The trees were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104). The trees and horses are from the Let It Ride stamp set. The Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) was cut with 2 dies from the Stitched Nested Labels (#149638) to make a frame. The Old Olive Foil is from the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper (#149493). The base card is Very Vanilla (#106550), the next layer is Old Olive card (#106576), followed by Very Vanilla card again. Happy Birthday from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#151331) was stamped with Old Olive ink (#147090) and punched with the Classic Label Punch (#141491). The frame, the coloured horse and the sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I hope you are all staying well and using this time to get all those jobs done that you haven’t had time to do. I am slowly getting through some of mine.

Stay safe & keep crafting!!

So Many Stars Bundle

Hello everyone,

The So Many Stars Bundle (#p153016) really does have so many stars. There are 23 dies and 21 stamps so the possibilities will be endless with this set.

I attached the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper (#150429) with the stars to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). I stamped the stars and the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set (#150496) using Night Of Navy ink (#147110). These 5 stars are all on one image and co-ordinate with the die from the Stitched Stars Dies (#150653). I used Copper Foil Sheet (#142020) for the “swirly stars”.  The Stitched Nested Labels Dies (#149638) cut the Very Vanilla card and copper foil labels. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the Very Vanilla label to the card and the Copper foil “swirly stars” were glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great day.
