Slim Card Dies

Welcome everyone,

I love making slimline cards and I have used the Slim Card dies (#157965) for the scalloped edge on this card.

I cut the Evening Evergreen card (#155575) and the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper (retired) with the scalloped die. I matted the top & bottom of the DSP with the Evening Evergreen card and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The birds from Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends to colour this image are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Soft Succulent (#155521) and Crumb Cake (#154882). I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to give some sparkle to the birds. This was then cut with an Ornate Layers Die (#152726) and attached to a slightly larger piece of Evening Evergreen card.

The sentiment is from the Expressions Of Friendship stamp set (#158460) and stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). The die to cut this is from the Tasteful Labels dies (#152886) and the Evening Evergreen card under the sentiment was cut with a Layering Circles Die (#151770). The flower was cut with the Summer Shadows Dies (#156618) using Daffodil Delight card (#121680) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) so it was easy to attach to the base flower. The sentiment and flower were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I cut the 3 leaves from Evening Evergreen card, backed with Adhesive Sheet, with a die from the Eden Dies (#157831). The (retired) Garden Gems were added to the card for some bling.

TIP: The Summer Shadows Dies were available during a previous Sale-a-bration so you may already have these,  but if not there is great news, they will be available again in the next Annual catalogue. They also co-ordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783).

Stitched Greenery Die

Hello friends,

I am loving this Stitched Greenery Die (#155451) which is great for backgrounds. I am sure it will be used on many of my cards in the future. Not sure why it took so long to get it.

I used this die on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291) and matted it with the Rich Razzleberry card (#119981). The base card is Shimmery White card (#121717). 

I stamped the floral images from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) using Rich Razzleberry ink (#147091) on Shimmer White card. I used the stamping off method to stamp the background of the flowers for a lighter image and the darker areas are stamped normally. These were cut with the co-ordinating Floral Gallery dies (#154316). I taped the flowers on the right side of the card and used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the other flowers.

The detailed “circle” was cut with a die from the Encircled In Beauty Dies (#155546) using Rich Razzleberry card. The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and also stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink. I used a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886) to cut this. The Rich Razzleberry cut-out was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464) were added to the card.

Stitched Stars Dies

Hello again,

The Stitched Stars Dies (#150653) have been used to cut these detailed stars.

These stars were cut from Copper Foil Sheets (#142020) which were backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334) before cutting. They were adhered to the Seaside Spray card (#150889) as well as the triangle of the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (#150429). The card front was attached to the Night Of Navy card (#106577), then this card was attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549).

The sentiment is from the Joyful Holly stamp set (#p153440) and stamped with Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was then cut with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment to the card.

Curvy Dies

Hello friends,

I am loving these Curvy Dies (#154319) which will be available from 3rd November, along with the Quite Curvy stamp set (#154430) and Curvy Christmas stamp set (#155364)

The Designer Series Paper is from the Flowers For Every Season 6”x6” DSP (#152486) and the pink card is Magenta Madness (#152085). Each of these papers were cut with the Curvy Dies. The base card is Whisper White (#106549).

The sentiment is from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (#c149298) and stamped with Magenta Madness ink (#153117). I used a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886) to cut the sentiment. The banner under the sentiment was punched with the Banners Pick A Punch (#153608).

The Woven Threads Sequins (#149498) were attached to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

How quick and easy is that!!

Borders Abound

Hello friends,

I have stamped the Whisper White card (#106549) using the Borders Abound stamp set (#152627) which have 4 different borders, representing each season. I have used the winter border for this Christmas card, even though we don't have winter at Christmas time in Australia.

I stamped these borders using the Stamparatus (#148187) by moving the plate one hinge at a time to stamp. I used Seaside Spray ink (#150085). This was attached to the Pacific Point card (#116202). I dry embossed another piece of Whisper White card with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder (#153577), then attached the triangular piece of Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (#153512). I wrapped the Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446) around the card front, then attached this to the Whisper White base card. The sentiment is from the Gift Wrapped stamp set (#153432) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098). The sentiment and the Pacific Point card were cut with Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) and then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). To finish the card I added the sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment (#149498) using the Fine Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Rainbow Glimmer Paper

Hello,

If you like some sparkle on your cards you will love the Rainbow Glimmer Paper (#153056). This paper has a beautiful ombré effect.

I cut the triangles with the Stitched Triangles Dies (#152710) and I cut 2 strips for the bottom of the card. I attached them to a piece of Whisper White card (#106549) which was also attached to the Whisper White Base card. “Happy Birthday” is from the Many Mates stamp set (#c152633) and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The sentiment and the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were both cut with Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886). The sentiment was attached to the Gold Foil die cut label with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Gold Glitter Enamel Dots (#152155) added some more glitter to the card.

Well that was easy!!

Natures Thoughts Dies & Tasteful Labels Dies

Hi again everyone,

This card would be suitable for a masculine card.

To make the background for the card front I used the spots from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks (#150697) and daubered VersaMark (#102283) randomly over the mask. I didn't want perfect spots. Then I sprinkled the card with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). The designer paper is from the World Of Good Memories & More Card Pack (#153600) and this was attached to the Real Red card (#106578). Next I attached the Basic Black card (#121688) which I cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). I wrapped the Black 3/8” Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#147897) around the card. The sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set (#c151497) was also silver embossed, then cut with another Tasteful Labels Die. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The feathers and leaves are cut with the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586) from Silver Foil Sheet (#132178). I daubered with Real Red ink (#147084) around the sentiment and card front and this was attached to the Whisper White base card.

Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper

Hello,

The Flowers For Every Season 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#152486) have a variety of flowers for the 4 seasons, so is a versatile pack for the whole year. All the new In colours are included plus Poppy Parade.

The 2 pieces of DSP are from this pack and attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549). The ribbon is Whisper White 1/4” Crinkled Seam Binding (#151326) and I coloured this by sponging with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). I stamped the daisies from Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325), onto Poppy Parade card (#121694). I used VersaMark (#102283) and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were punched with the Medium Daisy punch (#149517). The 2 daisies were assembled together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The greeting is from the Last A Lifetime stamp set (#151479) and stamped with Poppy Parade ink. The greeting and the Poppy Parade card were both cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) and attached to the card with Dimensionals. The Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) were added to the flower centre and the sentiment.
