Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper

Hi again,

I have used some of my favourites again on todays card - butterflies, purple/mauve and this easy fancy fold card.

I have used Whisper White card (#106549) and Highland Heather card (#147010). The Designer Series Paper is from the Feels Like Frost DSP (#150444).
The size of the base card is 21cm x 10.5cm and scored at 6cm from the left.
The Highland Heather card was cut at 9.5cm x 14cm for the inside of the card and 9.5cm x 5.5cm for the piece on the front of the card. I dry embossed the smaller card with the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder (#153574).
The other white card with the flap is 23cm x 8.5cm and scored at 10cm from the right.
“Get Well Soon” is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and I stamped this with Highland Heather ink (#147103). This was cut with a die from the Hippo & Friends dies (#153585). I attached the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). You need to only attach the Dimensionals on the left side of the sentiment to allow you to tuck the flap under the right side.
The butterfly on the outside and inside of the card were stamped with an image from the Floating & Fluttering stamp set (#154424). This is a sneak peek from the upcoming Mini catalogue available from 5th January. I stamped this with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut the butterflies with dies from the co-ordinating Fluttering Dies (#154318). I wanted to add some glitter to the butterfly, but some inks tend to run as did this Gorgeous Grape ink. So I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to Whisper White card, then stamped the butterfly, so no problem with it “bleeding”. The butterfly on the front was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).
To finish the card Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) were added to the body of the butterfly.

Hope you are having a great day!

Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hi everyone,

Here’s another easy card using Designer Series Paper. I have used one of the beautiful photographic images from the Feels Like Frost 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper ((#150444).

I used 3 of the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#148551) to cut the one piece of DSP. I then cut the Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) slightly larger then the 2 smaller rectangles and attached the Designer Paper to these. The larger rectangle was attached to the base card and the other rectangles were attached on top. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set (#150513), and stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) on Whisper White card (#106549). This was also cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies, then attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

As I said, an easy card but pretty with this Designer Paper.

Enjoy your day.

Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper

Hello,

Did you know you can stamp an image on the Sparkle Glimmer Paper (#146957)? That’s how I got these very sparkly butterflies on this pretty but simple card.

The butterflies are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set (#p148580) and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099), then punched with the co-ordinating Butterfly Duet Punch (#148523). The base card and frame are Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). The frame was cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies (#148551). The Designer  Series Paper is Feels Like Frost (#150444). Many of the designs in this pack can be used for other occasions than Christmas which makes it very versatile. As well as the beautiful photographic images, the reverse side of this paper has a variety of white & silver foil designs.  “Thanks” is cut with a Well Written Die (#148534) also from Sparkle Glimmer Paper. The butterflies and frame were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and “thanks’ was glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

Have a great day.

Snowfall Accents Puff Paint

Hello Friends,

I had my first “play” with the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint (#150691) today. To use, just apply the paint to your project and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056), which puffs up the paint for a 3D textured effect.

I cut a piece of the Feels Like Frost 6”x6” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#150444) with a die from the Frosted Frames Dies (#150658), then added the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to the leaves. I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set (#p149418), using Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) on Whisper White card (#106549). This white card and Silver Glimmer Paper (#146960) were cut with another die from the Frosted Frames Dies. I cut the Silver Paper diagonally and attached it behind the Feels Like Frost DSP. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the White card with the sentiment. The snowflakes are cut from Blueberry Bushel card (#146991), also with dies from the same die set. The base card is Blueberry Bushel and the Whisper White card front was embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (#150646). The embellishments are from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457).

Have a great day.
