Queen Bee

Hello & welcome my friends,

The Queen Bee Bundle (#160485) consists of the Queen Bee stamp set (#160476) and the Queen Bee dies (#160484) which is were you will find most of the images on this card.

I stamped the floral images with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I coloured them with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends (#154884), Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883), Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends (#155521) and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885). These were cut with the Queen Bee dies.

The bird is from the Nested Friends stamp set (#160322), stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and cut with a Nested Friends Die (#160488).

The sentiment from the Queen Bee stamp set was also stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink and cut with a Queen Bee die. The flowers were cut with the Queen Bee dies from Flirty Flamingo card & Gold Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428). The gold Shimmer Paper was also used for the leaves from the same die set. This was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334).

I cut the green from the Fine Shimmer Paper and the Flirty Flamingo card with the Deckled Rectangles dies (#159173). The green Fine Shimmer Paper was dry embossed with one of the Basics Embossing Folders (#161598).

I attached one stamped floral image to the card front with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the other with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I added the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) under the sentiment which was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The flowers and bird were all attached with Mini Glue Dots then I added the (now retired) Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls.

Hello, Irresistible

Hello my friends,

I have had a very busy few weeks and my craft table & room needed a huge clean up, so did that today in between appointments which took up most of my day. During my clean up I found a heap of bits & pieces which I have stamped & cut over the weeks but haven’t used, so this card is made with some of these pieces I found. Just what I needed when I had very little time to make a card.

I cut the White Textured Shimmer Paper (#160838) with a die from the Irresistible Blooms Dies (#161149). This was attached to the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper (#161139), then matted with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421). 

“With Sympathy” is from the retired stamp set Special Moments. This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Meadow Dies (#155852) was used to cut the sentiment. I threaded the ribbon through the label and wrapped it around the card front and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) on Flirty Flamingo card. The flower & leaves were cut with the Irresistible Blooms dies. I used the Gold Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) for they leaves and these were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The flower & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls (#160449) were added to finish the card.

Now it’s back to more cleaning up but would prefer to be making cards.

Two-Tone Flora Bundle

Hello again,

I have been playing with the Two-Tone Flora stamp set #160844) again which is where you will find these flowers.

I stamped the flowers on Basic White card (#159228) with Pale Papaya ink (#155670), Fresh Freesia ink (#155611) and So Saffron ink (#147109). The flowers were cut with the Two-Tone Flora Dies (#159181) then I daubered the edges with the same inks.

I stamped the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) for the background with the Stacked Stone Background stamp (#152556) using VersaMark (#102283) and added the Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). This gave the subtle but shiny look to the background which is just what I wanted to achieve. This card and the gold from the Fine Shimmer 12”x12” Paper Pack (#160428) were cut with the Deckled Rectangles dies (#159173) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The leaves are also cut from the Gold Fine Shimmer Paper. The dies to cut the leaves are from the Around The Bend dies (#160649) and the Irresistible Blooms Dies (#161149). The Gold paper was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with the dies.

“Best Wishes” is from the Cottage Rose stamp set (#159040) and stamped with VersaMark with Gold Stampin’Emboss Powder (#155555). This was cut with another Deckled Rectangles die.

The flowers & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). A Brushed Brass Butterfly (#158136) and 3 small (retired) gold pearls were attached to the card.

I added small drops of the White Pearlised Enamel Effects (#156310) to the stamens of the flowers. Just ensure you leave this to dry as it doesn't dry instantly. I usually add this at the end and put aside for an hour or so.

Irresistible Blooms bundle

Hello friends,

I have been playing with the Irresistible Blooms bundle (#161150) again today which will be available on 1st March. These are part of the new Online exclusives. There are some other products also included in these online exclusive products - DSP, a letter stamp set and a pack of 3 embossing folders. I have used one of the embossing folders on this card.

All the stamped images including the sentiment are from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set (#161140) and I have used Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) on all of them. To heat emboss in any colour, stamp the image with the coloured ink using the Stamparatus (#148187). Clean the stamp making sure not to move the stamp or paper. Re-ink with VersaMark (#102283) and add Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used Flirty Flaming ink (#147052) for the sentiment and one flower and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) for the other flower. The leaves were stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#147106).

The flowers, leaves and the detailed “circle” were cut with the Irresistible Blooms Dies (#161149). I used the Gold Fine Shimmer Paper (#160428) for the card front. After cutting the detailed “circle” I then embossed the Gold card with one of the new Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). There are 3 different designs in this pack of folders. I matted this with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I cut the detailed leaves from Mint Macaron card (#138344) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The flowers and 2 of the stamped leaves were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the other leaf & sentiment.

The Flower Trinkets (#159191) were added to the flower centres and the card, and I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the flowers.
