Happy Holly-Days

Hi crafty friends,

I love when you can use a stamp set for more than one occasion. The Happy Holly-Days stamp set (156342) is actually a Christmas set but I have used the bird from this set for a range of occasions.

I punched the corners of the Harvest Meadow 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#156494) with the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320). I added small pieces of  Gold Foil (#132622) behind these cut outs, then I attached the card front to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I used a Seasonal Labels Die (#156299) to cut the Gold Foil label. “Hugs, Prayers & Love” from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) was stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). The Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585) were used to cut the sentiment and the piece under the sentiment. I dry embossed the larger piece with the Gingham Embossing Folder (157627) - a sneak peek from the next mini catalogue.

The bird was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555). After heat setting this with the Heat Tool (#129056),  I fussy cut the bird and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Happy Holly-Days stamp set

Hi friends,

Today I have used 2 Christmas stamp sets but again have made a non Christmas card.

I often stamp an image which I don’t end up using so have a box of bits and pieces which come in very handy when I have little time to stamp but need a card. It’s a bit like a kit with all the pieces ready to put together. The bird, the stamped leaves and scalloped cork paper are all from that box so didn't take long to put together.

The Soft Succulent card front is from the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (#155641) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The leaves from the Merriest Moments stamp set (#156353) were stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778) and Evening Evergreen ink (#155576). This was attached to the card front.

The Cork Specialty Paper (#156393) was cut with the scalloped die from the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). The bird from Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and fussy cut. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Congratulations” from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664) and also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Soft Succulent embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (#155571).

Intricate Leaves Dies

Hello again my friends,

I have been playing with the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle (#158609) again so this is my latest card.

The detailed dies from the Intricate Leaves Dies (#153566) and Basic White card (#159228) which was backed with an Adhesive Sheet (#152334), were used to cut the leaves for the background. I adhered these to the card front and the edges were daubered with Pumpkin Pie ink (#147086) and attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and cut with a Tasteful Labels die (#152886). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The leaves from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set (#153365) were stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), Old Olive ink (#147090) and Cajun Craze ink (#147085). These were also cut with the Intricate leaves Dies.

The bird is from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342) and stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink, then fussy cut. The branch was cut from Gold Foil (#132622) backed with Adhesive Sheet, with an Intricate Leaves Die and attached to the card. The bird was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the bird and the stamped leaves.

Happy Holly-Days

Hi everyone,

3 cards today with just a slight variation in each. The bird is from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342).

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with the Star-Crossed Embossing Folder (#156567). The Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (#156292) was attached to the card front. The holly leaves design on the DSP is on the reverse of the more colourful design. I daubered the edges of the card fronts with Real Red ink and Garden Green ink (#147089).

The bird was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) onto Basic White card (#159228). This and the Real Red card (#106578) & the Garden Green card (#108605) were cut with a Scalloped Contours die (#155560). The scalloped rectangles were taped together, then attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment on the first card is from the Peaceful Deers stamp set (#156891) and stamped with Real Red ink.

“Seasons Greeting’s” from Merriest Moments stamp set (#156353) and “Merry Christmas” from Peaceful Deers stamp set were both stamped with Garden Green ink.

 The dies to cut the sentiments (in order) are from the Stitched Rectangles dies (#151820), the Ornate Frames Dies (#150664) and the Seasonal Labels Dies (#156299). Each were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Happy Holly-Days

Hello and welcome once again,

There are so many gorgeous products in the current mini catalogue and I am loving the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342) and the Beautiful Leaves Dies (#156468).

The base card and card front are Very Vanilla (#106550). I dry embossed the card front with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) and daubered the edges with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) before attaching it to the base card.

The Rose Gold Glitter paper from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) was cut with a Beautiful Leaves Die. I stamped the leaves from the Beauty Of Tomorrow stamp set (#156459) with Mossy Meadow ink (#147111). This was cut with the co-ordinating die from the Beautiful Leaves Dies.

I attached the both lots of leaves to the card front with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was attached under the label. The larger label is Merry Merlot card (#147005). “Happy Birthday” from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and both labels were cut with the Seasonal Labels Dies (#156299).

The bird from Happy Holly-Days stamp set was stamped with Merry Merlot ink, then fussy cut. The bird and labels were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I coloured the 3 Wonderful Gems (#153536) with the Light Polished Pink Stampin’ Blend (#155520) before attaching them to the card.

Happy Holly-Days

Hi,

These beautiful birds are from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342).

I stamped the birds with Real Red ink (#147084) and Pacific Point ink (#147098), then they were fussy cut. The Basic White card front (#159228) was embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). Before embossing, I inked the embossing folder with Crumb Cake ink (#147116), so when the card is embossed it adds colour to the debossed parts. The edges were daubered with Crumb Cake ink before attaching it to the Basic White base card. 

The Cork 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#156393) was cut with a die from the Beautiful Leaves Dies (#156468). These were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The fine branches were cut with a die from the Gorgeous Leaves Dies (#158609) using Brushed Metallic 12”x12” cardstock (#153524) with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back. This was attached on top of the die cut cork.

The sentiment from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Real Red ink and cut with a Bloom Die (#155989). The sentiment and birds were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I love how you can mix and match different sets as I have done on this card.

Happy Holly-Days

Hello friends,

I do love this bird from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342). As mentioned in an earlier post, it can be used for Christmas or any occasion card.

The bird was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) onto Basic White card (#159228). This and the Real Red card (#106578) were cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690).

The card front was stamped with images from the Textures & Frames stamp set (#156616) - a Sale-a-bration product. I used So Saffron ink (#147109) and Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104). The sentiment from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342) was stamped with Real Red ink.

 I wrapped the Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon (#151155) around the card front, then attached it to the base card. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the scalloped rectangles to the card.

I stamped 2 images of holly with Old Olive ink (#147090) and coloured with Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885). These were fussy cut and attached together with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Red Wonderful Gems (#153536) were attached to the holly for the berries.

I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on parts of the bird where there is shading. Be aware that some bleeding can occur on some colours.

I love this bird from the Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342), and even though it is a Christmas set, I have used the bird for an any occasion card.

I stamped the bird with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099), then fussy cut it. The Highland Heather card front (#147010) was dry embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing Folder (#156505) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The designer paper is from the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack (#155505). I attached the Square Vellum Doilie (#152484) to the card. I taped an area which would be a covered with the printed card, the bird and sentiment, so it’s not visible through the vellum. 

The sentiment is from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275), stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664). The sentiment and bird were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I added some Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the bird. Just a reminder that some inks can bleed when using the Wink Of Stella. I used it on the bird where there was some shading and it did bleed slightly but that’s what I wanted to achieve.
