Sketched Butterflies

 Hello stamping friends,

I often use a touch of black to make a colour pop, like on this card with the Petunia Pop colours.

I stamped the butterflies from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (#163490), using VersaMark (#102283) with Black embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powders (#165679). This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The co-ordinating Sketched Butterflies die (#163491) was used to cut the butterflies.

The Petunia Pop DSP from the 2024-2026 In Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163777) was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Petunia Pop card (#163802). I wrapped the Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon (#163785) around the card front then attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The Labelled With Love dies (#163570) were used to cut the 3 Basic White labels. The sentiment from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set was stamped with Petunia Pop ink (#163811). These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterflies were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the butterflies.

Cup Of Tea

Hi friends,

Here’s a bright & cheery card using the Cup Of Tea Bundle (#158667). This bundle includes the Cup Of Tea stamp set (#158661) and the Teacup Dies (#160667).

The teacup, leaves, flowers and the sentiment are all from the Cup Of Tea stamp set. For the cup I stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and used Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). The leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink (#147090) and Daffodil Delight (#147094). I also used Daffodil Delight ink for the sentiment and the small flowers were stamped with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). The teacup, flowers, leaves and hearts were all cut with the Teacup dies. For the hearts I used Sweet Sorbet card (#159266).

The 2 pieces of DSP are from the 2022-2024 In-Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#159253). I cut the white card and the Orchid Oasis DSP with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820). The Daffodil Delight card was used for the scallops and the banner under the sentiment. The scallops are from the Penned Flowers Dies (#155557). The sentiment & banner were cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183). 

The sentiment, cup and Daffodil Delight leaves were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the hearts, flowers & Old Olive leaves.

Designer Tags Dies

Hi crafty friends,

2 of the Designer Tags Dies (#159165) have been used on this card today.

I cut the Orchid Oasis from the 2022-2024 In-Color Designer Series Paper (#159253) with a die from the Designer Tags. I stamped “Thank You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214) on Basic White card (#159228). This was cut with another Designer Tags Die.

The base card is Basic White. I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Quaterfoil Tile Embossing Folder (#158655) then matted it with Orchid Oasis card (#159265). I threaded the Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon (#159199) through the label, then I attached the label to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). 

The butterfly was cut using a die from the Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523) from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock (#153524). This was attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the body of the butterfly. This allows you to bend the wings up.

Happy Holly-Days stamp set

Hi friends,

Today I have used 2 Christmas stamp sets but again have made a non Christmas card.

I often stamp an image which I don’t end up using so have a box of bits and pieces which come in very handy when I have little time to stamp but need a card. It’s a bit like a kit with all the pieces ready to put together. The bird, the stamped leaves and scalloped cork paper are all from that box so didn't take long to put together.

The Soft Succulent card front is from the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (#155641) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). The leaves from the Merriest Moments stamp set (#156353) were stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778) and Evening Evergreen ink (#155576). This was attached to the card front.

The Cork Specialty Paper (#156393) was cut with the scalloped die from the Scalloped Contours Dies (#155560). The bird from Happy Holly-Days stamp set (#156342) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084) and fussy cut. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Congratulations” from Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151595) was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink and cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664) and also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Soft Succulent embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (#155571).

Forever Fern Bundle

Welcome everyone,

I have made so many projects using the Forever Fern Bundle (#c154094) so here is another card.

The Designer Series Paper is the 2020-2022 In-Color 6”x6” DSP (#153070). The strip under the sentiment is the reverse of the cardfront. The colour is Just Jade. I coloured the 2 tone leaves by daubering onto the stamp with Mint Macaron ink (#147106) and Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to add glitter to the leaves. The smaller leaves were stamped with Soft Suede ink (#147115). These leaves and the small leaves from the Brass Foil Sheet (#153057) were all cut with the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714). The outline leaf is from the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper (#152493). The sentiment is from the Forever Fern stamp set and stamped with Mint Macaron ink (I’m still waiting on my new In Color inks otherwise I would have used Just Jade). The sentiment was cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

2020-2022 In colours

Hi everyone,

Each year Stampin’ Up! bring out a new range of “in-colours”, so today’s card is highlighting 4 of the 5 new colours.

The new 2020-2022 In Colours are Misty Moonlight, Magenta Madness, Bumble Bee, Just Jade and Cinnamon Cider. I have used all except the Cinnamon Cider. The base card is Whisper White (#106549). The next layer is the Bumble Bee colour from the 6”x6” In-Colour Designer Series Paper (#153070). Misty Moonlight card (#153086) is the next layer followed by the Flowers For Every Season 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#152486). The sentiment from the Rooted In Nature stamp set (#148217) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and then sprinkled with the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). This is then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Tasteful Labels (#152886) was used to cut the sentiment. I sponged the edges with VersaMark and also heat embossed with the Gold Emboss Powder. The Magenta Madness card (#153085) was cut with a die from the Tasteful Labels. The leaves cut with a Forever Flourishing Die (#152714) and I used Just Jade card (#153084), then I used the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to add the sparkle to the leaves. A Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Colour Enamel Dot (#152480) was added to the sentiment. The sentiment and leaf were attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Sip Sip Hooray

Hello everyone,

I wouldn’t normally choose a ribbon then design the card, but that’s what I did today. This beautiful ribbon is Rococo Rose 1/2” Gathered Ribbon (#149587).

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549) and Rococo Rose (#150888) and the DSP is 2019-2021 In Color 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#149617). I stamped “congratulations” from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set (#c151331) with Rococo Rose ink (#150080). The holes at the bottom of the same card was cut with the Sip & Celebrate Dies (#150668). The wine glasses from Sip Sip Hooray stamp set (#p150526) were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129). Shimmer White Emboss Powder (#149511) was used for the “wine”. The glasses were cut with the Sip & Celebrate Dies. I lightly daubered Rococo Rose ink over the set Shimmer White emboss powder. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the left hand wine glass. The rhinestones are from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones (#149494).
