Sunset Coast dies

 Welcome everyone,

When I have products out I often make a few variations of cards, so today I am using the Sunset Coast dies (#1667780) and the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (167773) again.

I cut the DSP with the Perennial Postage dies (#162607). The smaller piece of DSP is cut from the larger piece and this is covered when attaching the matted DSP. The Blueberry Bushel card front (#146991) was dry embossed with the Soft Waves embossing folder and I attached the larger piece of DSP to this, and matted the smaller piece of DSP also with Blueberry Bushel card. The smaller matted piece was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The lighthouse was cut with a Sunset Coast die using Silver Foil (#163387). I then used a Spotlight On Nature die (#163580) to cut the circle. This was then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

No stamping on this card (except inside) as I chose not to add a sentiment at this stage.

The Basic White card front (#166781) was dry embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695), then matted with Pretty In Pink card. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The die cut pieces were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are the (retired) Iredescent Faceted Gems.

Fragrant Layers

 Hello friends,

These flowers are from the Fragrant Layers stamp set (#167150).

The flowers & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the flowers & leaves to add some glimmer. The birds are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Mixed Florals

 Hello again,

This floral image is from the Mixed Florals stamp set (#164639) and I stamped it with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#166781).

The flowers were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Bubble Bath (#161675), Highland Heather (#154887), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Blackberry Bliss (#154877). The leaves were coloured with Lost Lagoon (#161680) and Pool Party (#154894). I used Soft Sea Foam (#154902) for the flower stalks.

I cut this card with a die from the Perennial Postage dies (#162607), then I cut this in half both vertically & horizontally. These 4 pieces were attached to the Highland Heather card (#147010) then to the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (#162593). The base card is Basic White.

“Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Perennial Postage dies. I attached the twine from the Black & White & Gold Bakers Twine (#166005) to the card than added the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are the Iridescent Faceted Gems (#163368). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the flowers for some glimmer.

Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper

 Hello everyone,

This beautiful Designer Series Paper is Painterly Pears (#166146).

I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front (#166785) with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder (#165170). I taped the darker piece of the DSP to the card front.

The other piece of DSP was cut with a Perennial Postage die (#162607). The sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set (#163756) was stamped with Secret Sea ink (#165285) and also cut with a Perennial Postage die. These 2 die cut pieces were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The leaves were cut with Gallery Blooms dies (#165212) using Secret Sea card (#165296) and Cloud Cover card (#165293). I backed the cardstock with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with the dies.

I daubered around the card front with Secret Sea ink, then attached it to the Very Vanilla base card.

Perennial Postage dies

 Hi friends,

I used the Perennial Postage dies (#162607) to cut the sentiment and the coloured card.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder (#164695) and matted it with Basic Black card (#121688). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The coloured cards are Daffodil Delight (#121680), Pumpkin Pie (#108601), Azure Afternoon (#161728) and Real Red (#106578).

The flowers from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were cut with the co-ordinating Year Of Flowers dies (#165374). When the flowers are stamped it includes a different month of the year for each flower. This is actually cut off when using the dies. A great tip when matching the dies with the stamp is the dies have a number on it corresponding to the month, i.e. January has number 1, February has number 2 etc.

I glued the flowers to the coloured card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

The sentiment is from the same stamp set. This was also cut with a Perennial Postage die. However there isn't one the size I wanted, so I cut it as shown below by cutting 3 sides, then repositioning the die to cut the other side.

I matted the sentiment with Basic Black card. This and the coloured cards were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The retired Dragonfly Trinkets were added to complete the card.

Everyday Details

 Hi friends,

I have used all the beautiful new 2024-2026 In-Colors on today’s card to colour the flowers & leaves. The  new Annual Catalogue is available tomorrow (1st May) so make sure you check out all the new products - https://www.stampinup.com.au

I stamped the vase with the flowers from the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Very Vanilla card (#106550). The vase was coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends (#154904). The flowers were coloured with Petunia Pop Stampin Blends (#163828), Pretty In Pink Stampin’ Blends (#163824) and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends (#163827). For the leaves I used Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends (#163825) and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends (#163826). I then fussy cut this stamped image. I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glimmer to the flowers, leaves & vase.

I cut the window from the Very Vanilla card front using a Perennial Postage Die (#162607), then dry embossed this with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder (#161598). This was matted with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622).

The Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon (#163785) was wrapped around the card front, then the card front was attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

I cut a piece of the Nature’s Sweetness 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) with another of the Perennial Postage dies. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Best Wishes” from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Petunia Pop ink (#163811) and cut with a Perennial Postage die. The sentiment & vase of flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).

Enchanted Butterfly stamp set

 Welcome friends,

I hope you all had a happy & relaxing Easter as I did. I am using more of the retiring products and these butterflies are from the Enchanted Butterfly stamp set (#161279) which is retiring. This is a reversible stamp set which means you can use both sides of the stamp which allows you to do 2 step stamping. However I have just used the outline side of the stamp.

I stamped the butterfly with Bubble Bath ink (#161664), Berry Burst ink (#147143) and Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). These were then cut with a Perennial Postage die (#162607).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing folder (#158655) and matted with Berry Burst card (#144249).

I coloured the Bubble Bath from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (#161635) with Berry Burst ink using a Sponge Dauber (#133773). This was then wrapped around the card front.

“Happy Birthday” from So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Berry Burst ink and cut with a Sending die (#159271). The sentiment & butterflies were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the butterflies. When using this on some of the darker inks just be aware that this may cause “bleeding” of the ink (which isn’t always a bad thing).

The embellishments are from the Festive Pearls (#159963) and I added 3 to each of the butterflies.

The retiring products are the Enchanted Butterfly stamp set, the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, the Sheer Ribbon Combo pack, the Festive Pearls and the Sending dies.

Check out the retiring list here - https://www.stampinup.com.au. There are a great range of products and many at greatly discounted prices. They are available till 30th April while stocks last.

Wild Ferns

 Hello friends,

The Wild Ferns Bundle (#162655) has been used on today’s card with a combination of other products. I started with an idea of what I wanted the card to look like but just wasn't happy with it, so totally changed my idea and was happy with the final card.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Ferns 3D Embossing Folder (#158804) and matted this with Pecan Pie card (#161726). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The DSP is from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) and I cut the “V” with a retired Banner punch.

The Gold Foil (#132622) was dry embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600).

I stamped the fern from the Wild Ferns stamp set (#162648) using Pecan Pie ink (#161665). I cut this and the Pecan Pie card with the Perennial Postage dies (#162607) and these were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The detailed die cut fern was cut with a Wild Ferns die (#162654). The Pecan Pie card for this was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), so easily attached to the card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Inked & Tiled stamp set (#161158) was stamped with Pecan Pie ink and cut with another Wild Ferns die. I also cut the  Pecan Pie card with the same die, cut it in half and attached it to the sentiment.

Lovely and Sweet

Hi friends,

The Lovely & Sweet stamp set (#162617) is where you will find this image on today’s card.

I stamped this with VersaMark (#102283) onto Bubble Bath card (#161727) and added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) which was then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I highlighted the 2 flowers by colouring them with the dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends (#161675). This was then cut with one of the Perennial Postage dies (#162607). I dry embossed the card with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (#161598). I cut a piece of Basic Black card (#121688) slightly larger than the Bubble bath card and taped these together. This was then taped to the Berry Burst card (#144249) and attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Congratulations” is also from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set and stamped with Berry Burst ink (#147143). A Sending Die (#159271) was used to cut the sentiment.

I wrapped a piece of (retired) ribbon around the card, then attached the sentiment with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The heart embellishments are also retired.
