Pretty Birds

Hello friends,

Today I have used the Pretty Birds Bundle (#158847) which includes the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845) and the co-ordinating Birdhouse Dies (#158846).

All the birds were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). They were coloured with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883), Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882). 

The birds and cage were cut with the Birdhouse Dies. I used Copper Foil (#142020) for the cage and the “75”.

I dry embossed the Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) and this was matted with Basic Black card (#121688). The base card is Basic White.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then cut with a Stitched Rectangles die (#151820).

I attached all the birds, the cage and sentiment to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the numbers.

The retiring products used here are the Pretty Birds Stamp set, Birdhouse dies and the Stitched Rectangles dies.

Desert Details Dies

Hello stamping friends,

Here is an easy fancy fold card - the Double Z fancy fold card. I have used the Desert Details Dies (#160531) for the fancy frames on the front of the card. This was very hard to photograph so looks so much better in real life.

The base card is Tahitian Tide card (#159262). I cut the piece of A4 card in half (10.5cm) and used the full length of the card. This was scored on the long side at 7.5cm & 14.9cm. Another piece of Tahitian Tide card was cut at 8cm x 26cm. This was scored at 11cm & 18.5cm.

The DSP is from the Dry Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160837). The piece attached to the left side of the card is 9.5cm x 6.5cm. The piece on the right side is 14cm x 9.5cm. The 2 pieces of Basic White card (#159228) are 7cm x 7.5cm.

I cut the Rose Gold Specialty Paper (#159139) for the “frame” with a Desert Details Die (#160531) and another die was used to cut the Dry Brushed Metallic Paper which was attached on top of the frame. This was attached to the smaller Z fold Tahitian Tide card for the card front. This Z fold was then attached to the larger Z fold by using adhesive only on the back of the left side of the “frame” and under the right side of the Z fold to attach it to the card.

The birds from the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). Then I stamped the colour for the birds with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210). This is a Two-step stamp set, so easy to stamp the 2 images.

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, then cut with a Tailor Made Tag Die (#155563). The sentiment and birds were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I coloured the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) with the Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends (#159221) and attached them to the card.

Pretty Birds

Hi again crafty friends,

I have used the new Naturally Gilded 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#161639) for the background. This pack consists of 3 designs in silver, gold & copper and are part of the new Online Exclusives products.

I matted this DSP with Basic Black card (#121688) and Tahitian Tide card (#159262) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The cage & bird are from the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845) and stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I coloured the bird with Tahitian Tide Stampin’ Blends (#159221) and the cage with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883). I also used Daffodil Delight for the beak and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882) above the beak and the feet.

The sentiment from Happiness Abounds stamp set (#159238) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210) and this was cut with a Stylish Shapes Die (#159183).

The sentiment, cage & bird were all attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper

Hello stamping friends,

I do love the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (#160834) as part of the Sale-a-bration products. This paper co-ordinates with the Dainty Delight Bundle (#160675), (however I have not used that bundle on this card.)

I attached the DSP to the Daffodil Delight card (#121680), then attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The bird and cage are from the Pretty Birds Bundle (#158847) which includes the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845) and Birdhouse Dies (#158846). The bird was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), and coloured with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883). The cage was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). The bird & cage were both cut with the Birdhouse dies. I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to give some shimmer to the bird.

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the cage and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the bird.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and cut with a Potted Succulent die (#154330). This was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Pretty Birds bundle

Hello friends,

I am loving these birds from the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845).

The birds are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#102283) on Basic White card (#159228). The Stampin’ Blends used are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Poppy Parade (#154958). Granny Apple Green (#154885), Tahitian Tide (#159221) and Crumb Cake (#154882).

The birds, cage and leaves are all cut with the Birdhouse dies (#158846). For the cage I used Silver Foil 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#156457) and Granny Apple Green card (#147014) was used for the leaves. The spotted DSP is from a retired pack and this was attached to the Night Of Navy from the Brushstroke 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#159250). The base card is Basic White.

“Thinking Of You” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and I used Night Of Navy ink (#147110). This was cut with a die from Potted Succulents (#154330) and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The cage and the 2 birds outside the cage were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the leaves.

Pretty Birds

These birds are from the Pretty Birds stamp set (#158845) and have been coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

The birds were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228), then cut with the co-ordinating Birdhouse Dies 158846). These are also available as the Pretty Birds Bundle (#158847) which includes the stamp set & dies. I coloured the birds with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885), Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882).

The DSP is from the Hues Of Happiness (#158822) and this was matted with Night Of Navy card (#106577). I offset the Night Of Navy card so it is only seen on 2 sides of the card front. The base card is Basic White.

The wreath was cut with a Natural Prints die (#158800) from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237). This was attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The birds were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095). I used the Stylish Shapes Dies (#159183) to cut the sentiment and the Night Of Navy label under the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Pretty Birds Bundle

Hello stamping friends,

The Pretty Birds Bundle (#158847) consists of the Pretty Birds Stamp Set (#158845) and the Birdhouse dies (#158846) which I have used for todays card.

I stamped the birds with Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) and these were cut with the co-ordinating dies. The Stampin’ Blends used to colour the birds are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Balmy Blue (#154830), Tahitian Tide (#159221) and Crumb Cake (#154882).

I used one of the designs from the Snowflake Specialty Vellum (#159832) for the background and this was matted with Tahitian Tide card (#159262), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Best Wishes” from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (#159238) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210) and cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). The bird cage was cut from Gold Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524).

I attached the group of birds with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The bird cage, sentiment and single bird were all attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are the Fine Sparkle Adhesive-backed Gems (#159967).

Tip: when attaching vellum I avoid adding adhesive where it will show through. I usually attach all the pieces to the front of the vellum first, then you can see on the back where to add the adhesive. I used Mini Glue dots behind the gems and tape on the larger areas which can’t be seen.
