Cottage Rose

Hi stamping friends,

There are so many of my favourite products retiring, so over the next few weeks I will use some of these products in my cards. The stamp set used here is Cottage Rose (#159040).

I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). I coloured the flower with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883), the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) and the flower centre & small buds with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ blends (#154897). The die to cut this is from the co-ordinating Cottage Flowers (#159047).

I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428) and then matted it with Daffodil Delight card (#121680). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The scallops are cut with a die from the Penned Flowers dies (#155557) using the Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524). The scalloped were attached to the Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper (#158822) then this was attached to the card front.

The Gold ribbon is from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Best Wishes is also from the Cottage Rose stamp set and this was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). A Potted Succulents Die (#154330) was used to cut the sentiment and this was taped to the card. The flower was attached with Stampin’ Dimenionals (#104430).

I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flower & leaves for some sparkle and the Pearl Basic Jewels (#144219) to the sentiment.

The retiring products used here are the Cottage Rose stamp set, Cottage Flowers dies, Potted Succulents dies, Penned Flowers dies, Brushed Metallic cardstock, Pretty Flowers embossing folder, Hues Of Happiness DSP and the Pearl Basic Jewels.

Tea Boutique Suite Collection

Hello & Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums,

I hope all the Mums had a lovely relaxing day and were totally spoiled. I probably should have made this a Mothers’ day card, but this Cup Of Tea Bundle (#158667) will be great for many occasions or for no reason at all.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428). The edges were daubered with Sweet Sorbet ink (#159216). The 2 pieces of the DSP from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper (#158659) were attached to the cardfront.

The teacup from the Cup Of Tea stamp set (#158661) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and I used Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). A die from the Teacup dies (#160186) was used to cut the cup. The die cuts on either side of the cup were cut with All That Dies (#159078). The Basic White card had been backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting these.

“Happy Birthday” from the Happiness Abounds stamp set (#159238) was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159212). This was cut with a Sending Die (#159271). I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to add this to the card.

Stamping on Gold Metallic Specialty Paper

Hi my crafty friends,

I love to experiment and here on this card I heat embossed on the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper, then coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Last week I heat embossed on cards using Black & White Stampin’ Emboss powders, so today I have used the Gold.

The floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set (#155070) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto the Gold from the Gold & Rose Gold 6”x6” Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844). I added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then coloured the flowers with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887), Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends (#155520) and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends (#154884). I used Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) for the leaves.

I matted this gold paper with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). The Highland Heather card front (#147010) was dry embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

“Congratulations” is also from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set and stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The sentiment and the Gorgeous Grape Label under the sentiment were cut with the Potted Succulents dies (#154330). The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon (#154572) was used to make the bow and attached to the card with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683).

The Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464) were coloured with the dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887) before attaching to the card.

Expressions In Ink

Hello my friends,

I just adore the Expressions In Ink suite (#155459) with the gorgeous Specialty Designer Series Paper, stamp set and dies.

The base card and card front are Basic White (#159228). I Embossed the card front with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder (#155428) and daubered the edges with Polished Pink ink (#155712). The Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (#155464) was attached to the Polished Pink card (#155711), then attached to the cardfront.

I used the Gold Foil Sheets (#132622) to cut the detailed floral piece using a die from the Artistic Dies (#155371). I had adhered a piece of Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Gold Foil Sheet and Shaded Spruce card (#147006) before cutting with the dies. The Shaded Spruce leaves are cut with a die from the Blooms Dies (#155989).

The sentiment is from the Elegantly Said stamp set (#155095) and stamped with Polished Pink ink. A Tailor Made Tags Die (#155563) was used to cut the sentiment. I used the Gold Trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) to add to the tag and a cute little bee from the Bumblebee Trinkets (#155568) was attached with a Mini Glue Dot (#103683). The tag was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Enjoy your weekend!!
