Hand-Penned Petals stamp set

Hello & welcome,

Today I am using the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set (#155070) and the co-ordinating Penned Flowers dies (#155557). These are retiring and are available at a discounted price while stocks last. You will find a link to all the retiring products below.

I stamped the floral image from this stamp set with VersaMark (#102283) onto a piece of the Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper (#160521). I sprinkled this with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I stamped this image again on Basic White card (#159228) and this time used Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555).

I used the dies from the Penned Flowers dies to cut this gold embossed image, the Pale Papaya card (#155669) for the detailed die cut & 1 flower, and the Calypso Coral card (#124392) for the other 2 flowers.

The detailed die cut piece & flowers were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Gold embossed image was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) and stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101). I am so pleased to see this stamp set is carrying over to the next catalogue. This certainly is my “go to greeting” set. I used a Meadow Die (#155852) to cut the sentiment. The Gold Ribbon from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack (#161633) was wrapped around the card front then this was attached to the Basic White card base.

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the 3 die cut flowers to add some shimmer. The Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls (#160449) were added to the card.

Holly Berry Dies

Hello again my friends,

Another Christmas card using my favourite traditional Christmas colours - red, green & gold.

I attached the strip of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (#159237) to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). The scallops were cut with a die from the Penned Flowers (#155557) using Shaded Spruce card (#147006). This was attached to the Boughs Of Holly Designer Series Paper (#159600), then attached to the base card.

The Shaded Spruce card backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) was cut with a Holly Berry Die (#159607). The gold behind the leaves was cut with another die, then the “label” was attached to the card. “Christmas Wishes” was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#1055555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Another Holly Berry die was used to cut the sentiment. The berries were cut from Real Red card (#106578) and Distressed Gold Paper. The sentiment and berries were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Penned Flowers Dies

Welcome stamping friends,

The flowers & leaves on this card have been cut with the Penned Flowers Dies (#155557).

The Gorgeous Grape card (#147011) was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting the detailed image from the Penned Flowers Dies. This was attached to the solid piece cut from the Gold from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844). I used Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) for the leaves and this was also backed with Adhesive sheet.

The scalloped edges were cut on the Fresh Freesia card (#155614) and the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper using another die from the Penned Flowers Dies. The Fresh Freesia card was then dry embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder (#158655).

I heat embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) using VeraMark (#102283) and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056).

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Pretty Pillowbox die (#156321). The gold card and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464) were added to the card.

Artisan Additions Dies

Hi & welcome again everyone,

The Artisan Additions Dies (#159172) is where you will find the die that I used for the detailed cut-out on this card. As usual, I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) adhered to the back of the Gold from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock (#153524) before cutting with the die.

This was attached to the Basic White card front (#159228). The Designer Paper is from the Texture Chic 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#158808). The scalloped strip was cut using a Penned Flowers die (#155557). This and the DSP was attached to the card front. I daubered the edges of the card front with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) before attaching it to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Edens Garden stamp set (#157823). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used the Layering Circles Dies (#151770) to cut the sentiment and the Gold Brushed Metallic cardstock under the sentiment. This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I find you can make an easy card with some beautiful Designer Paper and some lovely dies just like I have done here.

What’s Cookin’ Bundle

Welcome,

The What’s Cookin’ Bundle (#155845) used on this card consists of the What’s Cookin’ stamp set (#154491) and the Cookin’ Dies (#154333) and includes a great range of kitchen utensils.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was embossed with one of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder (#155432). The black & white check paper is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (#155426).

I cut the Silver Foil from the Silver Foil 12”x12” Specialty pack (#156457) with the scalloped die from the Penned Flowers (#155557). I attached this to the card front, then using the Take Your Pick Tool (144107), made holes to be able to insert the brads from the Round & Square Brads (#155570) to “hang” the utensils on.

I used Crumb Cake card (#121685) for the cutting board, Silver Foil for the whisk and Basic Black card (#121688) for the lifter. The spoon was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and the sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). All the utensils were cut with the Cookin’ Dies.

Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the hanging utensils and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) for the spoon & rolling pin.

Pinwheel Tower card

Hello my friends,

I do love a fancy fold card and I have seen many of these pinwheel tower cards recently so just had to make one.

Although this card may seem difficult it is really quite easy.
I used Mint Macaron card (#138344) for the base.
The measurements for Mint Macaron cardstock  are 1 at 15.5cm x 10.5cm and scored at 2cm, 4cm, 6cm and 8cm along the long side, and 3 at 7.5cmx10.5cm.
Fold the score lines and form a square as shown below. I glued this with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Then add each of the other pieces on each face of the square as shown-

The Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (#155499) was cut in the following sizes -3 at 7cm x 10cm, 3 at 5cm x 10cm and 1 at 2.5cm x 10cm.  On the side with the Basic White card (#159228) which I cut at 5.3cm x 10cm, I added the piece of DSP on the side however if you want more area to write your message use a white card 7cm x 10cm. Attach each of the pieces of Designer Series Paper to the card.

I added sentiments to 3 of the larger sides. I used Encircled In Friendship stamp set (#155408) and Elegantly Said stamp set (#155095) and they were all stamped with Highland Heather ink (#147103). The dies to cut these are from the Ornate Frames Dies (#150664) and the Potted Succulents Dies (#154330).

The flower images were cut using the Meadow dies (#155852) and the Penned Flowers Dies (#155557). I coloured the cut-outs with Highland Heather ink, Mint Macaron ink (#147106), Blushing Bride ink (#147100) and Granny Apple Green ink (#147095).

I glued each of the elements and sentiments using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I chose not to use dimensionals as I didn't want to have too much extra thickness to the card.

The sizes used here give a finished card 15cm x10.5cm, so is the same size as a normal size card and it folds flat for postage.

Hand-Penned Petals

Hello everyone,

A vibrant card using the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum (#155616).

I used the Ornate Layers Dies (#152726) to cut the Shimmer Vellum, the sentiment and the detailed cut out under the sentiment. The sentiment from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Polished Pink ink (#155712).

The floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals (#155070) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). The flowers were stamped with Polished Pink ink, using the stamping off method for the lighter colour. The leaves were stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Penned Flowers dies (#155557). I used the Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends (#155520) to add extra colour to the flowers.

The sentiment and the flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). When I attached the Vellum to the Basic White base card, I used tape behind the sentiment and flowers and Mini Glue dots (#103683) behind the embellishments, so it doesn’t show through the vellum. The Polished Pink embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (#155571).

Stitched Snowflakes Dies

Hi crafty friends,

If you like snowflakes there are a variety of products to use, like I have for this card.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders (#155433). I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler card (#121681) with the scalloped border from the Penned Flowers Dies (#155557). I attached this to the Peaceful Place 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#156394), then this was attached to the embossed card front. The edges were daubered with Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083), then attached to the Basic White base card.

I cut the lightest coloured silver foil from the Silver Foil 12”x12” Specialty Pack (#156457) with one of the Stitched Snowflakes Dies (#156455). I used a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108) to attach the snowflake to the card and added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (#144220) to the centre of the snowflake.

“Season’s Greetings” from the Merriest Moments stamp set (#156353) was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink, then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment.

This is an easy card to make but very pretty.
