Sailing Home stamp set

Hello again,

It’s nice to revisit some of the products from the Annual catalogue which we can sometimes forget when another catalogue arrives, so I have chosen the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) which makes a great masculine card.

I have dry embossed the Pacific Point card (#116202) using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700), then attached this to the Basic White base card (#159228). Happy Birthday is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098) on Basic White card. This and the Poppy Parade card (#121694) were cut with the Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585).
The lighthouse is from the Sailing Home stamp set and also stamped with Pacific Point ink. The shells are fussy cut from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (#154288). Even though these shells are smaller than the shells in the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309), I was very pleased how well it embossed these shells. I find they just look so much better with the embossing then when flat.
The lighthouse and the red & blue shells were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and as usual couldn’t resist using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add that touch of glimmer to the shells & lighthouse. Pity it doesn’t show in the photo but looks great in reality.

Have a great weekend.

Seabed 3D Embossing Folder with Sand & Sea DSP

Hello and welcome friends,

I love the beautiful sheen on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper (#154291) and looks great when embossed with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700).

This was then attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550) and then a piece of the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (#154288) was attached.
The sentiment, shell and star fish are from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set (#154368) and stamped onto Very Vanilla card. The sentiment and shell were stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and the starfish with So Saffron ink (#147109). The shell and starfish were cut with the Seaside Seashells Dies (#156095).
The sentiment and Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) under the sentiment were cut with Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585). I attached the Gold Trim from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack (#152475), then attached the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The shell and starfish were also attached with Dimensionals.

I hope you are having a great day!!

Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

Don’t forget the Designer Series Paper Sale is almost at an end, so if you would still like to take advantage of 15% off selected DSP click here  Only available till 31 October so don’t delay.

I have used the Flowers For Every Season 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#152486) on today’s card. This isn’t included in the sale but you could easily substitute many of the designer papers of your choice.

The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549). I dry embossed the card front with the Seabed 3D embossing folder (#152700). The edges were daubered with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), then I wrapped the Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Colour 1/4” Ribbon (#153624) around the cardfront. The Designer Series Paper and Whisper White card were cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). The bottom layer was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterfly from Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and the greeting from Many Mates stamp set (#152633) were stamped with Misty Moonlight ink. I stamped 2 butterflies and attached one on top of the other using a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108). The butterflies were cut with a co-ordinating die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586). “Celebrate” was cut with a Layering Ovals Dies (#151771) and also attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) were added to the sentiment and butterfly.

Have a great day.

Sailing Home fancy fold card

Hello friends,

Here’s a fancy fold masculine card using the Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457).

The cardstock I have used is Whisper White (#106549), Misty Moonlight (#153086) and Seaside Spray (#150889). There is quite a lot of cutting for this card.
The base card is the normal size card - 14.9cm x 10.5cm.

The Whisper White card at the front is 23cm x 4cm and scored in half (11.5cm) on the long side and 1cm at each end.
The middle white layer is 18cm x 7cm and scored in half  (9cm) on the long side and 1cm at each end.
The back white layer is 12cm x12cm and scored in half (6cm) and 1 cm at each end.

The Misty Moonlight card sizes are as follows and 2 required for each size -
3.5cm x 10cm
6.5cm x 7.5cm
11.5cm x 4.5cm
13.9cm x 9.5cm

Seaside Spray card sizes as follows and 2 required of each size -
6cm x 7cm
11cm x 4cm
13.4cm x 9cm

I stamped the lighthouse and small boat with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), the larger boats and sentiments with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and the anchor with Basic Gray ink (#147118). The Seaside Spray cards were all dry embossed with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700) and the Misty Moonlight card on the front layer with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder (#150646).
Each of the stamped images were cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576). I also cut the wheel from Silver Foil (#132178) and the rope from Copper Foil (#142020) and the seaweed from Misty Moonlight card. The sentiment is from the Many Mates stamp set (#c152633) and cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach all the elements to the card.

Have a great day.

Sailing Home stamp set

Welcome friends,

The Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457) is a great set for masculine cards with it’s nautical theme.

I dry embossed the Whisper White card front (#106549) using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700). I lightly daubered over the embossed card with Seaside Spray ink (#150083), then spritzed the card with Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046). This was attached to the Misty Moonlight card (#153086) which was attached to the Whisper White base card. The small piece of Designer Paper is from the 6”x6” 2020-2022 In Color DSP (#153070). I cut a Whisper White rectangle with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and dry embossed this with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). I stamped the lighthouse and “congrats” from the Sailing Home stamp set using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118). When I stamped the lighthouse I stamped it using the Stamparatus (#148187), so that I could re-stamp it with VersaMark (#102283) and add the Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This is currently my favourite technique to emboss with any coloured ink and clear embossing powder. I cut the sentiment and the light house with the co-ordinating dies from the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576).  The sentiment and lighthouse were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Hope you can have a crafty day.

Borders Abound stamp set

Hello everyone,

I stamped the background of the Whisper White card (#106549) using 2 images from the Borders Abound stamp set (#c152627).

To stamp the background I used the “Hinge-Step technique” using the Stamparatus (#148187). I stamped the first image using Crumb Cake ink (#147116) then moved the plate down one hinge, re-stamped, then continued to the bottom of the card. Then I set up the 2nd image in between these images to fill in the gaps and using the hinge- step technique till all gaps were filled. I attached the card front to Pretty Peacock card (#150886). I cut a circle with the Stitched Shapes Die (#152323) from Pretty Peacock card, the embossed this with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700). I attached one of the Gold Hoops Embellishments (#152474) to the Pretty Peacock circle. I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the hoop, where the other elements would cover them. The sentiment is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set (#c149306) and also cut with a Stitched Shapes Die. I used Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). The bird from the Birds & Branches stamp set (#p152570) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and Crumb Cake ink. The bird was cut with a die from the Birds & More Dies (#152721). The dies for the leaves are from the Forever Flourishing Dies (#152714) and I used Pretty Peacock card and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The ribbon to make the bow is the Very Vanilla/Gold 1/4” Pleated Ribbon from the Boho Indigo Product Medley (#153132) and was attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Gold Glitter Enamel Dots (#152155) were attached to the sentiment and one for the birds eye.

Stay safe & keep crafting!!
