Sailing Home

Hello & welcome friends,

Another retiring set is the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) and the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576).

The lighthouse and sentiment were stamped with Pacific Point ink (#116202). The sentiment is from the Celebrating You stamp set (#158028). I used the Stitched Rectangles dies (#151820) to cut the sentiment, lighthouse and the Pacific Point card (#116202).

The Basic White card (#159228) was dry embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718) then matted with Pacific Point card. This was attached to the Basic White base card. The Waves Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper (#159982) was attached to the card front.

I adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Coastal Cabana Foil from the Blue Foils (#159983) and cut the “ropes” with the Smooth sailing dies (#149576). The straight pieces of rope were attached to the card. The Pacific Point card & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). A Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewel (#159396) was attached to the sentiment and the “knotted rope” was also attached to the card.

The retiring products used here are the Sailing Home stamp set, Smooth Sailing Dies, Waves Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper, Blue Foils and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Sailing Home stamp set

Hi stamping friends,

Another of my favourite stamp sets is retiring, which is the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) along with the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing dies (#149576).

I used one of the beautiful papers from the New Horizons 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#157768) for the background. The birds from the Sailing Home stamp set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto the DSP. This was matted with Evening Evergreen card (#155575), then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used dies from the Smooth Sailing Die to cut the lighthouse and the rope. I used Cinnamon Cider card (#153083) for the rope which had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back. The compass is also from the Sailing Home stamp set and stamped with Smoky Slate ink (#147113). I cut this with a Layering Circles Die (#151770).

“Happy Birthday” from the Home & Garden stamp set (#157910) was stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with a Tasteful Labels Die (#152886). The compass, lighthouse and sentiment were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104330) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The retiring products here are the Sailing Home stamp set, Smooth Sailing Dies, Bumble Bee card and the Tasteful Labels dies.

Gentle Waves

Hi again,

As soon as I saw the Gentle Waves stamp (#157868) I knew it would be able to be used with many other products like the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) as I have used on this card.

I stamped the Gentle Waves onto Basic White card (#159228) using Balmy Blue ink (#147105). I matted this with Balmy Blue card (#147007). The base card is Basic White.

The lighthouse and boats are from the Sailing Home stamp set. The boats were stamped with Bumblebee ink (#153116) and Misty Moonlight ink (#153118). The lighthouse was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The boats & lighthouse were all cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576). The Horizon Dies (#157778) were used to cut the grass & hills in the foreground with Old Olive card (#106576).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Calming Camellia stamp set (#158117). This was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink then cut with a die from the Pretty Pillow Boxes Dies (#156321). The lighthouse, yellow boat, sentiment and grass were all attached using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

TIP: The Calming Camellia stamp set is a free host set from Sale-a-bration with an order of $500 (in Australia).
The Pretty Pillow Boxes Dies are continuing from the previous mini catalogue.

Sailing Home

Hello & welcome again,

Another masculine card today, using the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457).

The boats, lighthouse and anchor are all images from the Sailing Home stamp set, using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), Real Red ink (#147084) and Smoky Slate ink (#147113). The dies to cut these, as well as the wheel are from the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing dies (#149576). I used the Brass Foil Sheet (#153057) for the wheel.

The base card is Basic White (#159228). The Designer Series Paper is from the Sand & Sea DSP (#154288) and this was matted onto the Real Red card (#106578).

“Celebrate” is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and stamped with Real Red ink. I cut this and the Real Red card underneath with the Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638). The sentiment and the lighthouse were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the wheel for ease of attaching. I find the adhesive sheets are great when you have more detailed die cuts.

Have an amazing day!!

Sailing Home stamp set

Hello again,

It’s nice to revisit some of the products from the Annual catalogue which we can sometimes forget when another catalogue arrives, so I have chosen the Sailing Home stamp set (#149457) which makes a great masculine card.

I have dry embossed the Pacific Point card (#116202) using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700), then attached this to the Basic White base card (#159228). Happy Birthday is from the Many Mates stamp set (#152633) and stamped with Pacific Point ink (#147098) on Basic White card. This and the Poppy Parade card (#121694) were cut with the Hippo & Friends Dies (#153585).
The lighthouse is from the Sailing Home stamp set and also stamped with Pacific Point ink. The shells are fussy cut from the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (#154288). Even though these shells are smaller than the shells in the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (#154309), I was very pleased how well it embossed these shells. I find they just look so much better with the embossing then when flat.
The lighthouse and the red & blue shells were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and as usual couldn’t resist using the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add that touch of glimmer to the shells & lighthouse. Pity it doesn’t show in the photo but looks great in reality.

Have a great weekend.

Sailing Home fancy fold card

Hello friends,

Here’s a fancy fold masculine card using the Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457).

The cardstock I have used is Whisper White (#106549), Misty Moonlight (#153086) and Seaside Spray (#150889). There is quite a lot of cutting for this card.
The base card is the normal size card - 14.9cm x 10.5cm.

The Whisper White card at the front is 23cm x 4cm and scored in half (11.5cm) on the long side and 1cm at each end.
The middle white layer is 18cm x 7cm and scored in half  (9cm) on the long side and 1cm at each end.
The back white layer is 12cm x12cm and scored in half (6cm) and 1 cm at each end.

The Misty Moonlight card sizes are as follows and 2 required for each size -
3.5cm x 10cm
6.5cm x 7.5cm
11.5cm x 4.5cm
13.9cm x 9.5cm

Seaside Spray card sizes as follows and 2 required of each size -
6cm x 7cm
11cm x 4cm
13.4cm x 9cm

I stamped the lighthouse and small boat with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118), the larger boats and sentiments with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and the anchor with Basic Gray ink (#147118). The Seaside Spray cards were all dry embossed with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700) and the Misty Moonlight card on the front layer with the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder (#150646).
Each of the stamped images were cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576). I also cut the wheel from Silver Foil (#132178) and the rope from Copper Foil (#142020) and the seaweed from Misty Moonlight card. The sentiment is from the Many Mates stamp set (#c152633) and cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies (#151820). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach all the elements to the card.

Have a great day.

Sailing Home stamp set

Welcome friends,

The Sailing Home stamp set (#c149457) is a great set for masculine cards with it’s nautical theme.

I dry embossed the Whisper White card front (#106549) using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder (#152700). I lightly daubered over the embossed card with Seaside Spray ink (#150083), then spritzed the card with Frost White Shimmer Paint (#147046). This was attached to the Misty Moonlight card (#153086) which was attached to the Whisper White base card. The small piece of Designer Paper is from the 6”x6” 2020-2022 In Color DSP (#153070). I cut a Whisper White rectangle with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and dry embossed this with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (#151775). I stamped the lighthouse and “congrats” from the Sailing Home stamp set using Misty Moonlight ink (#153118). When I stamped the lighthouse I stamped it using the Stamparatus (#148187), so that I could re-stamp it with VersaMark (#102283) and add the Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This is currently my favourite technique to emboss with any coloured ink and clear embossing powder. I cut the sentiment and the light house with the co-ordinating dies from the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576).  The sentiment and lighthouse were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Hope you can have a crafty day.

Sailing Home

Hello,

The Sailing Home Bundle (#c151066) is a great set for masculine cards.

For the base card and frame I used Whisper White card (#106549). The cardfront is Seaside Spray (#150889) and for “birthday” I used Blueberry Bushel card (#146991). I stamped the “wavy lines” from the Artisan Textures Stamp set (#c151278) onto the Seaside Spray card using VersaMark (#102283). This gives a watermark effect on the card. The larger boat and “wishes” were stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138) and the smaller boat with Seaside Spray ink (#150085). The boats were cut with the Smooth Sailing Dies (#149576) and the larger one was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut the frame and embossed it with the Heirloom Frames Dies and 3D Embossing Folders (#152325). With these dies & folders, cut the frame first, then emboss,  as it is easier to line up the embossing folder with the cut frame. The frame was then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. “Birthday” is cut with a die from the Well Written Dies (#148534) and “Wishes” is in the Well Said stamp set (#c148796) which co-ordinates with the Well Written Dies. I used the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309) to glue the “birthday” to the card.

Have a great day.
