Beautiful Balloon dies

Hi Stamping Friends,

These little balloons are cut with a die from the Beautiful Balloons dies (#161456) from Basic White card (#159228).

I cut the letters using the Mini Alphabet dies (#162934) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach the letters to the balloons.

I attached the balloons with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#161745). I then attached the DSP to the Tahitian Tide card (#159262) which had been dry embossed with the now retired Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

“Birthday” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210) and cut with a die from the Enduring Beauty dies (#162672). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Retiring products used here are the Beautiful Balloons dies, Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper, Tahitian card & ink and the Biggest Wish stamp set.

Just a correction to yesterdays blog, the Petal Park Builder Punch isn’t retiring.

Embossing On Vellum

Hello again,

I love the look of dry embossing on Vellum (#106584) which I have done on the background of this card.

I used the beautiful Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (now retired from Sale-a-bration) to dry emboss the Vellum. When attaching this to the Coastal Cabana card (#131302), I only used adhesive on areas that would be covered, as adhesive can be seen through the vellum.

I stamped the floral image from the Adoring Hearts stamp set (#162563) with VersaMark (#102283) onto Coastal Cabana card. I added White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This card and the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) were cut with the Thoughtful Expressions Dies (#162821). These pieces were taped together, then I attached them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I wrapped the Gold ribbon from the Silver & Gold Trim Combo pack (#161633) around the card front, then attached the card front to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). This was cut with an Autumn Leaves die (#162185) and attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The cute little Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to finish the card.

Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello again friends,

I’m back from my short break and with so much to do before heading off again next week for Stampin’ Up! On Stage I have made a quick & easy card today, using some leftover pieces from other products I had on my table.

I used the co-ordinating die from the Lovely & Sweet dies (#162626) to cut the image from the Nature’s Sweetness 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616). I love how many of these images on the DSP co-ordinate with the dies as well as the stamp set.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Stippled Embossing Folder which was a Sale-a-bration product. I double matted this with Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and Pool Party card (#124391) and attached it to the Basic White card front. I cut a piece of the Softly Stippled DSP (also from Sale-a-bration) and attached it to the card front.

The sentiment from Thoughtful Expressions stamp set (#162815) was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) and cut with a Wild Ferns Die (#162654). The sentiment & die cut image were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The Iridescent Foil Gems (#162842) were added to the card.

Everyday Details Bundle

Hello stamping friends,

I have used the Everyday Details Bundle (#162865) on today’s card. The bundle includes the Everyday Details stamp set (#162861) and the Everyday Details dies (#162864). These dies don't actually cut around the images from the stamp set but have a range of circle & rectangular dies which make them very versatile.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. This was part of Sale-a-bration so now not available, so I hope you were able to get one when they were available. I then lightly applied Orchid Oasis ink (#159214) using a Blending Brush (#153611). The embossed dots picked up more of the colour. I also achieved an Ombre effect with slightly more colour at the bottom of the card and less at the top. The card front was matted with Orchid Oasis card (#159265).

I wrapped the Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven Ribbon (#159199) around the card, then attached the card to the Basic White base card.

The floral image from the Everyday Details stamp set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour this are Fresh Freesia (#155518), Moody Mauve (#161660), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Orchard Oasis (#159223) and Boho Blue (#161659). This was cut with an Everyday Details die and matted with Orchis Oasis card. I attached this with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used on the stamped image to add some glimmer. I chose not to add a sentiment at this stage.

Encircled In Nature Dies

Hi everyone,

I have been playing with the Encircled In Nature dies (#163628) again today for this gorgeous wreath and leaves.

For the wreath I used the Rose Gold Specialty Paper (#159139). This is the iridescent sheet and picks up all the colours depending on the light. The leaves are cut from Garden Green card (#108605) which was backed with Adhesive Sheets (#152334).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder from the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947). This is a Sale-a-bration product. The edges were daubered with Blueberry Bushel ink (#147138). The wreath was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I fussy cut the birds from the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977), also from Sale-a-bration. These were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Best Wishes” from the Sentimental Park stamp set (#160561) was stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink and cut with a Cracker & Treat Box die (#159182) and also attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack (#161623).

Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the birds.

Flight and Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello friends,

The Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper (#162977) is very popular and is a Sale-a-bration product so is free with a $90 order (in Australia).

I fussy cut the gorgeous birds from the DSP. I stamped the sentiment from the Notes Of Nature stamp set (#162630) with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611). This Basic White card (#159228) and the Fresh Freesia card (#155614) were cut with Thoughtful Expressions dies (#162821).

I matted a piece of Basic White card with Fresh Freesia card, then attached the die cut Fresh Freesia card. I dry embossed a piece if Basic White card with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder from the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), another Sale-a-bration product (with a $180 order). This card was attached to the card front.

The card with the sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I attached the birds on top with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

I cut the leaves with dies from the Notes Of Nature dies (#163203) using Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and Garden Green card (#108605). These were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The embellishment are from the Tinsel Gems Three Pack (#161624).

Lifetime Of Love

Hello friends,

I have used a combination of products on this pretty card, including the Lifetime Of Love Dies (#162583) and the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle (#162822).

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder from the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947) from Sale-a-bration. This was matted with Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) then attached to the Basic White base card.

I used Parakeet Party card (#159260) backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to cut the leaves & the leaves joined by the “arch”. The fine die cut flowers were cut with a die from the Thoughtful Expressions die (162821) using Flirty Flamingo card.

The stamped flowers are from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set (#162815). This was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured with the following Stampin’ Blends - Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Parakeet Party (#159220), Azure Afternoon (#161672) and Lemon Lolly (#161673). These were also cut with the Thoughtful Expressions dies. Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the Flirty Flamingo floral image and Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the Azure Afternoon floral image.

“With Sympathy” is cut & embossed with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162927) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622).

Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder

Hello stamping friends,

The Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (#162927) has been used for the “Thank You” on this card. This embossing folder also includes a die which cuts and embosses at the same time when the die is placed inside the embossing folder. There are various ways of using this but I have used it with the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and love the results.

I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the Softly Sophisticated bundle (#162947) from Sale-a-bration. This was matted with Pretty Peacock card (#150886), then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

I stamped the texture image from the Of Art & Texture stamp set (#162687) onto Lost Lagoon card (#133686). I used VersaMark ink (#102283) which gives a slightly darker colour to the card. This card was attached to a piece of Pretty Peacock card.

The leaves were cut with dies from the Painted Lavender dies (#162596). I used Lost Lagoon card, Pretty Peacock card and Pecan Pie card (#161726). I used Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Pecan Pie card and the other leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Pretty Peacock strip was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and Mini Glue Dots.

When cutting these sentiments with this Hybrid Folder you can cut all them at one time by using one piece of card the size of the folder, or you can just add a piece of card on the sentiment that you require.

Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper

Hello my stamping friends,

There is a variety of beautiful designer papers included in the Sale-a-bration products and one is the Flight & Airy 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#162977) and is available (in Australia) with a $90 order. There is a range of designs in subtle colours in this pack.

I cut the DSP and the Boho Blue card (#161733) with the Deckled Rectangles dies (#159173). The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is included in the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), another Sale-a-abration product ( with a $180 order). This bundle includes a stamp set. I daubered the edges with Boho Blue ink (#161650), then wrapped the Boho Blue Textured Ribbon (#161631) around the card front. This was taped to the Basic White base card. I attached the Rectangles to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Best wishes” from the Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Boho Blue ink and cut with a Deckled Circles Dies (#162286). I used a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (#144108) and Mini Glue Dot (#103683) to attach the sentiment.

Inspirational Sketches

Hello everyone,

I just love the bird from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) which I have used for this card. Actually I love all 3 images in the set. I’m still making cards for males, however this one again could be for anyone.

The bird was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214) on Basic White card (#159228), then fussy cut. The DSP from the Softly Stippled 12”x12” Designer Seres Paper (#162975) was cut with an Everyday Details Die (#162864). The DSP is a Sale-a-bration product and co-ordinates with the Stippled Roses Bundle from the new Mini Catalogue.

The Basic White card front was dry embossed with another Sale-a-bration product - the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the Softly Sophisticated bundle (#162947) which also includes a stamp set. I matted the card front with Coastal Cabana card (#131302) then attached it to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the So Sincere stamp set (#162283) was stamped with Orchid Oasis ink and cut with a Sending die (#159271). The sentiment & bird were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I applied Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the bird to add some glimmer.

All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper

Hello everyone,

I am making masculine cards this week (as I need to build up my stock). However this card could be for either male or female which is great.

I have used the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162178) for the card front, then I matted this with Pretty Peacock card (#150886). This was attached to the Very Vanilla base card (#106550). The strip of Pretty Peacock card was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is included in the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947), a Sale-a-bration product.

“Best Wishes” from the Layering Leaves stamp set (#161277) was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). This was cut with 2 of the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The trio of embellishments are from the Blooming Pearls (#162238).

An easy card which you can change the DSP for a variety of looks. I am sure you have excess of DSP which you can use.

Lifetime Of Love Bundle

Hi friends,

I am highlighting more of the new products from the upcoming Mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration. I was given a beautiful card recently from a friend (thanks Judy) using this fancy fold so just had to make one.

The card base is the normal size - 21cm x 14.9cm. This was scored along the long side - 6.5cm from the left and 4 cm from the right. The Designer Series Paper is from the gorgeous Forever Love 12”X12” Specialty DSP (#162573) and attached to the front flaps.

I cut the Pretty Peacock card (#150886) and Very Vanilla card (#106550) with Scalloped Contours dies (#155560). I dry embossed the Very Vanilla card with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (#162947). This is part of the Softly Sophisticated bundle which also includes a stamp set and a free Sale-a-bration product.

I stamped the floral images from the Lifetime Of Love stamp set (#162574) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Lost Lagoon (#161680), Daffodil Delight (#154883) and Ivory (#154922).

The flowers and leaves were cut with the Lifetime Of Love dies (#162583). I used Lost Lagoon card (#133686) for the leaves.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052), then cut with a retired Pretty Pillowbox die.

The sentiment & flowers were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers.

Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper

Hi again everyone,

Sale-a-bration is starting on 4th January, which means you can get free products with qualifying orders (from $90 in Australia) and who doesn't like free products. Several of the free products co-ordinate with products in the upcoming Mini catalogue which commences at the same time. Here I have used the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (#162975) which co-ordinates with the Stippled Roses Bundle (#162667) from the mini cattalogue.

I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP. I cut the circles with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) also using the same DSP.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947) and also a Sale-a-bration product. This was matted with Calypso Coral card (#124392) and attached to the Basic White base card.

I taped the circles to the card front. I cut the banner from Pebbled Path card (#161731) also using a Stylish Shapes die. The flower was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment from Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and cut with another Stylish Shapes die. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach the sentiment. The cute bird embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743).
