Biggest Wish

Hi friends,

I thought this would be a great masculine card using the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) for the words,

I stamped “Happy” with Crumb Cake ink (#147116), Pecan Pie ink (#161665) and Copper Clay ink (#161647) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). “Birthday” was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083). The woodgrain (under the leaves) is from the Textured Timber stamp set (#163656) and stamped with Basic Beige ink (#164512). This is a new basic coloured ink.

The leaves are cut with the Autumn Leaves dies (#162185). I used Oxidised Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162190) and Rose Gold Specialty Paper (#159139). The rows of “stitching” is also from the Autumn Leaves dies.

The leaves were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The card front was matted with Pretty Peacock card (#150886) then attached to the Very Vanilla base card.

The retiring product used on this card is the Biggest Wish stamp set.

Beautiful Balloon dies

Hi Stamping Friends,

These little balloons are cut with a die from the Beautiful Balloons dies (#161456) from Basic White card (#159228).

I cut the letters using the Mini Alphabet dies (#162934) and Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) making it easy to attach the letters to the balloons.

I attached the balloons with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to the Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper (#161745). I then attached the DSP to the Tahitian Tide card (#159262) which had been dry embossed with the now retired Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

“Birthday” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink (#159210) and cut with a die from the Enduring Beauty dies (#162672). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Retiring products used here are the Beautiful Balloons dies, Gold Celebrations Specialty Designer Series Paper, Tahitian card & ink and the Biggest Wish stamp set.

Just a correction to yesterdays blog, the Petal Park Builder Punch isn’t retiring.

Biggest Wish

Hello friends,

I love using dies and embossing folders for my cards and find it very hard to do just stamping, so here is a card which looks like it is just stamping. However I have used some dies to cut masks and then I used an embossing folder once the stamping was done.

I cut a rectangle from a piece of scrap paper using a die from the Deckled Rectangles (#159173). I placed the outside piece of the mask on the Basic White card (#159228) and applied the Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) with a Blending Brush (#153611). I also cut another rectangle with the next size Deckled Rectangles die. I attached this to the card and covered the yellow with the piece cut from inside of the first mask. This left a border area which I used Starry Sky ink (#159212) and this was also done using a Blending Brush.

“Happy” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and “Birthday” was stamped with Starry Sky ink. I used the Stamparatus to stamp the words making it easy to get the words straight.

I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406) to dry emboss the Basic White card front, then this was matted with Starry Sky card (#159264). The base card is Basic White.

Enchanted Butterfly

Hello again friends,

I had some scraps of designer paper left from previous projects so used them on the background of this card.

The DSP is from the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper (#1611139) and Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (#161157). The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder (#161545) and this was matted with Melon Mambo card (#119980), then attached to the Basic White base card. The DSP was taped to the card front.

The butterfly is from the Enchanted Butterfly stamp set (#1612790). I stamped the butterfly onto Melon Mambo card with VersaMark (#102283) and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set this with the Heat Tool (#129056). The butterfly was fussy cut and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Happy Birthday” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Melon Mambo ink (#147051) then fussy cut. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the sentiment. The embellishments are from the Glossy Dots Assortments (#158827).

Dragonfly Garden

Hi stamping friends,

This dragonfly is from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set (#154411) which will soon be retiring.

I stamped one image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) on Basic White card (#159228). I then stamped it on Vellum (#106584) with VersaMark (#102283) and added Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) which was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). Both dragonflies were punched with the Dragonflies Punch (#154240). I attached the Vellum dragonfly on top of the other dragonfly with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

Happy Birthday is from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) and I stamped this with Merry Merlot ink (#147112) and Old Olive ink (#147090). I used the Split Card Textures Die (#159162) to cut the pattern in the Basic White card. This was attached to the Merry Merlot card (#147005) then this was attached to the Basic White base card.

I used Mini Glue Dots to attach the dragonfly to the card, as well as the Dragonfly Trinkets (#160520).

The retiring products used here are the Dragonfly Garden stamp set, Split Card Textures Dies, Merry Merlot cardstock & ink and the Dragonfly Trinkets.

Forever Grapevine Bundle

Hi stamping friends,

The Forever Grapevine Bundle ($155618) is another of the retiring products so decided to use it for a masculine card today. This bundle consists of the Forever Grapevine stamp set (#155626) and the Grapevine Dies (#155620).

I stamped the grapevine from the Forever Grapevine stamp set using Tuxedo Black memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The leaves were coloured with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885) and the grapes with Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends (#154877) and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518). I used Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#154882) and Granny Apple Green for the stems.

I cut the leaves using a die from the Grapevine Dies. These were cut from Granny Apple Green card (#147014) which was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) and attached to the card.

“Happy Birthday” is from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) and stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink (#147092). I find the Stamparatus (#148187) a great tool when stamping sentiments like these to get them straight and in the correct position.

The Blackberry Bliss card (#133682) was used to matt the card front, then attached to the Basic White base card. I added glimmer to the stamped leaves & grapes with the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897).

Friendly Hello Slimline card

Hi,

Here is another slim line card, this time using the Slim Card Dies (#157965) to cut the fancy curve at the bottom of the card.

I cut the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper (#159990) and the Shaded Spruce card (#147006) with one of the Slim Card dies. I attached the DSP which is part of the Friendly Hello stamp set & Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-bration to the Shaded Spruce card.

I stamped the flowers with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), the small bunches of leaves with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and the single leaves with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). These leaves were coloured with Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends (#154902). I added colour to the flowers with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends (#155518) . All these images are from the Friendly Hello stamp set and I fussy cut all these stamped images.

“Happy Birthday” is from Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) and stamped on Basic White card (#159228). This was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink and Shaded Spruce ink. I used a die from the Tailor Made Tags (#155563) to cut the sentiment.

The base card is Basic White and the finished size is 21cm x 9.5cm. This fits the Slimline Envelopes (#157981). The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430). The embellishments are Iridescent Basic Jewels (#158130).

TIP: You can use smaller pieces of the Shaded Spruce card by cutting a narrow strip, approximately 1cm, to attach to the top of the DSP and another strip, approximately 3cm, to attach to the bottom of the DSP, rather than one full piece.

Art In Bloom

Hi again everyone,

Today I have used the Art In Bloom stamp set (#155085) as well as the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder (#155989) which gives a variation to the flowers from yesterdays card.

Happy Birthday is from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052). I used Soft Succulent ink (#155778) for “happy” and Pale Papaya ink (#155670) for “happy”.

I adhered Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Soft Succulent from the 2021-2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum (#155616). This was then dry embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725). I cut a piece of the Gold Brushed Metallic 12”x12” cardstock (#153524) with a die from the Penned Flowers Dies (#155557). This was attached to the embossed vellum and this was then attached to the Basic White card (#159228). This was matted with Evening Evergreen card (#155575). The Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (#155780) was wrapped around the card front. The base card is also Basic White.

I stamped the flowers with Pale Papaya ink (#155670). The 3 flowers are on the one stamp, so this makes it easy to place the stamped flowers in the embossing folder with the die and cut and emboss them all at once. The leaves were stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and cut with the co-ordinating dies, then attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Eden Dies

Hello friends,

Here is another card using some of the early release Eden’s Garden collection (#160849).

Using the larger die from the Eden Dies (#157831) I cut the Ever Eden 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#159996). I put the leaf cut out aside for another card and used the outside of the DSP and attached it to a piece of Basic White card (#159228). I then adhered the Adhesive Sheet (#152334) to the back of the Gold paper from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844), then cut with the same die, this time using the leaf cutout. I attached this onto the white card matching it up with the DSP cut out.

“Happy” & “Birthday” are from the Biggest Wishes stamp set (#155052). “Happy” is stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576) and “Birthday” is stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). The Genial Gems (#155500) were added to the card. The base card is Evening Evergreen (#155575).

An easy and pretty card.

Gorgeous Leaves stamp set

Hi everyone,

These leaves are from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set (#153365) and stamped using the “hinged method” with the Stamparatus (#148187).

I stamped the leaves with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), then inked the edges of the leaves with different inks using a dauber and re-stamped. From left to right the inks used were Cajun Craze (#147085), Soft Suede (#119982), Cherry Cobbler (#147083), Pumpkin Pie (#147086) and Old Olive (#147090). I did one leaf at a time before moving the plate one “hinge” each time.

The Crushed Curry card (#131288) was dry embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505) and attached to the Very Vanilla card front (#106550). I also attached a small strip of the Gold from the Gold & Rose Gold 6”x6” Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844) to the card front.

The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052). “Birthday” was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and “happy” with Cherry Cobbler ink. This was then cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Daisy Garden

Hi and welcome again,

The Daisy Garden stamp (#155079) is a full size stamp and has been used for this card.

The image was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder from the Metallics pack (#155555). The Heat Tool (#129056) was used to set the powder. The floral image was coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Granny Apple Green (#154885), Poppy Parade (#154958), Calypso Coral (#154881), Highland Heather (#154887), Polished Pink (#155520), Pale Papaya (#155519), Flirty Flamingo (#154884) and Ivory (#154922).

The sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) was stamped with Granny Apple Green (#147095) and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708). This was cut with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). The Gold Fine Art ribbon (#154561) was wrapped around the card front. The sentiment was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The base card is Granny Apple Green card (#147014). I added the Clear Embellishmnets from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials (#155567).

Biggest Wish

Hello again my friends,

The Picture This dies (#155559) consists of 2 dies, one with rectangle cut outs (as used on this card) and the other with circle cut outs. They also have stitching around the edges.

I cut the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (#155426) with the Picture This die. This DSP is from the hostess products so can be earned with Stampin’ rewards with a qualifying order. There is a variety of patterns and colours on one side of the DSP and the reverse is Black & White in various designs, so a very versatile pack. I attached the designer paper to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I stamped “happy” & “birthday” from the Biggest Wish stamp set (#155052) using Real Red ink (#147084). These were then cut with the same die. I attached the rectangles to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) where the cut outs are on the DSP.

The dragonfly from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set (#154411) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708), then punched with the Dragonflies Punch (#154240). I used the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to add glitter to the dragonfly, then attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
