I hope you all had a lovely Christmas as I did. After a couple of days out of the craft room I was eager to get back to “playing” again today. I know a lot of people don’t like fussy cutting, but here I have cut out the leaves from the beautiful Year Of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (#144640). We are all a bit spoiled with all the punches and framelits that make it so easy to cut out so many images - like the bird.
The bird from Best Birds stamp set (#p141525) was stamped with Dapper Denim ink (#141394), then cut with the co-ordinating Birds & Blooms Thinlits (#141477). Happy Birthday and the flowers are from the Birthday Blooms stamp set (#c139471, #w139167). Peekaboo Peach ink (#141398) was used for the flowers and Dapper Denim for the Greeting. The base card is Peekaboo Peach (#141422), then I used a piece of Copper Foil Sheet (#142020), then the card front is Whisper White (#106549). I attached the leaves with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the bird with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). I attached the Iridescent Sequins (#144212) using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Not sure how well you can see it, but I added some glitter with the Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) to the wings of the bird.
Enjoy your day.
