Shimmery White Embossing Paste

Hello,

I wasn’t going to show any of the new products from the Occasions catalogue yet but I haven’t had a chance today to make any cards so here is one I made yesterday with some new products. The background uses the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) with the new Sweet Soirée Decorative mask (#145643).

It is so easy to make a textured background by applying the paste with a Palette Knife (#142808) and with the glitter already in this paste, you have a beautiful background in no time. It doesn’t take long for the paste to dry, so make sure you clean the mask and knife as quickly as possible by rinsing under water. The base card is Daffodil Delight (#121680) and Whisper White (#106549) was used for the card front. I stamped the flower from Birthday Blooms stamp set (#c140658, #w140655) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then I coloured this with Stampin’ Blends - Daffodil Delight Combo pack (#144603), Old Olive Combo Pack (#144597) and Cherry Cobbler Light (#144576). I then fussy cut the image and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The ribbon across the bottom of the card is 1/8” Gold Ribbon (#134583). I used Daffodil Delight ink (#126944) to stamp Best wishes from the Cake Soirée stamp set (#c145745, #w145521). (This is another exciting stamp set). This was punched with the Classic Label Punch (#141491) and attached to a piece of slightly larger Daffodil Delight card. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) to attach the greeting to the card.

The Stampin’ Blends can be bought separately or in a combo pack for each colour. There are 12 Stampin’ Up! colours in light and dark as well as Ivory, Bronze and a colour Lifter.

Have a great day.
