Today I decided to use a stamp set that I haven’t used very much, and I don’t know why as it has some beautiful images in it. It is the Hello Friend stamp set (#c144059, #w144055). It is a set that co-ordinates with the Hello Friend Heat Embossing Project kit (#146013), but it is also great to use separately as I have done with this card.
The card front is one of the papers from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (#144177). This paper is 6”x6” and there are 4 each of 12 double sided designs and are ideal for masculine cards but this card could be used for anyone. I stamped all the images from the Hello Friend stamp set using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129), which was then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The leaf images are part of the wreath. I didn’t want the whole wreath, so just stamped the edges of the paper and I liked the result. The dragonfly is cut with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits (#142749) from the Gold Glimmer Paper (#133719), then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White card (#106549) and punched with the 1-1/4” Circle punch (#119861). This was attached over the Fresh Fig Finely Woven Ribbon (#144132). The edges of the cardfront were sponged with Fresh Fig ink (#144082), and then attached to the Fresh Fig base card (#144248). I love it when an idea comes together so nicely and looks great.
Have a great day.
Lovely with the gold dragonfly!
