Birthday Bouquet DSP

Hello everyone,

Here's a pretty card using Birthday Bouquet DSP (#140557) and the Number of Years stamp set (#140653) for the lovely flowers and leaves.

The card stock I have used is Watermelon Wonder (#138341) and Whisper White (#106549). Firstly I stamped the greeting from the Birthday Blooms stamp set (#c140658, #w140655) using Watermelon Wonder ink (#138323). I stamped the leaves 4 times and these were stamped with Old Olive ink (#126953). The inks for the flowers are Blushing Bride (#131172), Soft Sky (#131181$ and Daffodil Delight (#126944). I cut the Birthday Bouquet DSP and the Watermelon Wonder card with the Circles Collection Framelits (#130911). I taped the DSP to the card and then attached the Watermelon Wonder card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Number of Years

Hello and welcome,

These leaves and flowers are found in the Number of Years stamp set (#p140653) and with the leaves and flowers as separate images it makes it easy to stamp with different colours.

The leaves were stamped with Old Olive ink (#126953) and for the flowers I used Daffodil Delight (#126944), Wisteria Wonder (#126985)  and Cherry Cobbler (#126966). I added the smallest of the Pearl Basic Jewels (#119247) to the centre of the flowers. At the base of the flowers I stamped with Crumb Cake ink (#126975) and Soft Suede (#126978). Next I cut a circle form the Whisper white base card (#106549) using the Circle Collection Framelits (#130911), then embossed the card front with the Elegant Dots folder (#138287). I cut another circle from Daffodil Delight card and attached this to the card using Mulipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). The banner is also from the Number of Years stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink and cut with the co-ordinating Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622). Happy Mothers Day is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set (#130042) and stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. The sentiment was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The card stamped with the flowers was attached to the inside of the card front also using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Have a great week.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Rose Wonder

Hello,

For this card I made a mask with the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies (#140619), then coloured the Rose and Leaves on the Whisper White card (#106549).

I placed the mask in place and secured it with a post it note. Then using a dauber (#133773) with Blushing Bride ink (#131172) I applied the colour for the Rose to the card. Be careful not to go over the outside of the mask. Then I used a dauber with Pear Pizzaz ink (#131180) to colour the leaves. Remove the mask and you have a lovely image on the card. I then embossed the White card with the Softly Falling folder (#139672). With Sympathy and the frame around it is from the Rose Wonder stamp set (#p140697), also using Blushing Bride ink and Pear Pizzaz ink. The Framelit to cut this is from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies. This framelits set and the Rose Wonder stamp set can also be bought as a bundle (#140804) which as usual gives you a saving of 15%. The White card was attached to the Blushing Bride base card (#131287).

Then I decided on a variation to this card. I cut a piece of Silver Foil Sheet (#132178) with the Framelit for this flower and glued it over the sponged image using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755).

Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Flowering Flourishes

Welcome,

Most people would know that I like simple but elegant cards and I think this card is in this category.

The base card is Real Red (#106578). I stamped on the Whisper White card (#106549) using VersaMark (#102283) and Gold Embossing powder (#109129) which is heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This stamp is from the Flowering Flourishes stamp set (#131998). The flowers are cut from Red Glimmer Paper (#121790). The small flowers are punched with the flower from the Tree Builder punch (#138295). The larger flower and stamens are cut with the Botanicals Builder Framelits Dies (#140625). I used the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the stamens. All the flowers were attached to the card with Crystal Effects (#101055). Crystal effects is a great adhesive as well as using it to add gloss to an image. Congratulations is from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) and also gold embossed. The banner from Number Of Years stamp set (#p140653) was stamped with Real Red ink (#126949) and cut with the Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622). This was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Hope you are having a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!

Sprinkles of Life

Hi Ladies,

My 8 year old grand daughter loves cooking so thought some cupcakes on her birthday card would be just ideal. These cupcakes can be found in the Sprinkles of Life stamp set (#p139971). When you purchase this set, $3 is donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

I embossed the Very vanilla base card (#106550) using the Softly Falling Textured folder (#139672). To this I added a piece of Bohemian DSP (#138446) and a small piece of Bermuda Bay card (#131268). The greeting from Circle Of Spring stamp set (#p138964) was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#131171) and the tags were cut with the Tags & Labels Framelits (#138282). I added a Mini Brad (#122941) to the tag before attaching it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The cup cake bases were stamped with Delightful Dijon ink (#138327) and hand cut, then taped to the card. The top of the cupcakes were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Embossing powder (#109131) which was heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then punched with the Tree Builder punch (#138295) and attached to the card with Dimensionals. The candles were punched with the punch from the Party Punch Pack (#140608). There are 3 mini punches in this set - a balloon, a candle, and a cupcake. The candles were cut from Delightful Dijon card (#138345) and Bermuda Bay card (#131286). I also punched the flame for the candle from the Gold Foil sheet (#132622) and glued it to the candle. The number eight was cut using the Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622) and glued to the card with 2-way glue.

Schoolhouse DSP

Hello,

Here's another card with very little stamping - doesn't need much with designer series paper.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549). The DSP is from the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper (#138187) and this was matted with Pacific Point card (#116202) and Tangerine Tango (#116206). I stamped the Greeting with Pacific Point ink (#126951). With the photopolymer stamps it is so easy to stamp just in the right place. The greeting is from the Number of Years stamp set (#p140653) and the numbers are cut with the Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622) using Pacific Point card. I attached the Tangerine Tango card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). The numbers were glued to the card using the 2-way Glue Pen (#104425).

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.

Timeless Elegance DSP

Hi again,

I hope you all had a relaxing Easter. Here is a quick and easy card using Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper (#138444), so the only stamping is for the greeting.

I embossed the Crushed Curry base card (#131288) with the Honeycomb folder (#129378). The DSP was taped to the Basic Black card (#121688). The Butterflies were cut with the Bold Butterfly Framelits (#138135) and Butterflies Thinlits (#137360). The black butterfly was attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and the Crushed Curry butterfly was attached with Glue Dots (#103683). Celebrate is from the Endless Birthday Wishes (#p140273) and stamped with Basic Black archival ink (#140931). The banner is from Bloomin' Love stamp set (#p140643) and this was stamped with Crushed Curry ink (#131173) and the Framelit from the Large Numbers Framelits Dies (#140622) was used to cut it. The banner was then attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Have a great day.

Till next time,
Happy Stamping!
Lesley.
