Two-Tone cardstock

 Hi friends,

The Two-Tone Cardstock has a white core with a dark shade on one side and a light shade of the same colour on the opposite side. These are available in the new upcoming catalogue. There are some colours already available with the Scrapbooking kits. I have used Pool Party on this card.

I dry embossed the Two-Tone card (166691) with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder (#154317). I then lightly sanded the surface to reveal the white core. I finely matted this with Poppy Parade card (#121694) then matted this with the lighter side of the Two-Tone cardstock.

I cut the Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) with a die from the Thoughtful Wishes (#163313). The gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). This was attached to the card front.

The bird is from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set (#162684) and stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). I cut this with the Everyday Arches dies (#164629). “Happy Birthday” from the Translucent Florals stamp set (#162243) was also stamped with Poppy Parade ink, then cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). The bird & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (#164070) were added to the card.

Heirloom Arrangements Kit

 Hi everyone,

I am using elements from the Heirloom Arrangements Kit (#165007) on today’s card. Another quick & easy card.

For this card I used the base card from the Brushed Gold Cards & Envelopes (#162177).

“Happy Birthday” from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (#165367) was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink (#161663) and cut with a Beautiful Butterflies die (#164614).

I attached the “frame’ with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The butterfly, flowers and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The vellum leaf was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683).

The Gold Low Profile Dots (#164658) were added to the butterfly and sentiment. I added glimmer to the flowers & butterfly with Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

There are so many possibilities with this beautiful kit. It is designed for 8 cards but with all the elements you can get many more cards, just by adding some extra card bases.

Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper

 Hi friends,

Another quick & easy card today with no stamping. Beautiful Designer Series Paper makes it easy to make simple but pretty cards.

This DSP is from the Mixed Media Florals (#164638). This 12”x12” page has the floral design around the edges with white in the centre, so would also be great for scrapbooking. I matted this DSP with Basic Black card (#121688), then Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). I wrapped the Gold Open Weave Ribbon (#165715) around the card front, then attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

I cut the irregular circle with an Around It All die (#164725) from Basic Black card (#121688). This was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The butterfly is from the Paper Butterfly Accents (#162612) and attached to the circle with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). I added Clear dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots (#164204) to the butterfly centre.

The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (#164862). This pack has a large range of sentiments which are printed in black with white background and white with black backgrounds, in various scripts and sizes.
