Puzzle Pieces

Hi friends,

More retiring products have been used on today’s card.

The base card and the embossed card front is Whisper White (#106549). This was embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D emboss folder (#152320). The next layer is Basic Black (#121688), followed by Gold Foil Sheet (#132622). The Designer Series Paper is Golden Honey Specialty DSP (#152311) which was one of the sale-a-bration products, so now retired. This was cut with the Puzzle Pieces Dies (#146830) and glued to the gold paper with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). “Celebrate every Moment” is from the Honey Bee stamp set (#151527), stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708), then cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664). This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).  The bee was cut with a die from Detailed Bee Dies (#151526) from Black Foil Sheet (#147898) and glued the body to the card leaving the wings free.

The retiring products are the Puzzle Pieces Dies, Honey Bee stamp set, Detailed Bee Dies and Black Foil Sheet.

Stay well & keep crafting!!

Honey Bee Bundle

Hi friends,

The Honey Bee Bundle (#c153792) from the 2020 Mini catalogue co-ordinates beautifully with the Golden Honey Specialty Series Paper (#152311) which is one of the Sale-a-bration products, and I have used both on this card.

The base card is Whisper White (#106549). The 2 pieces of Designer Paper are from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP (#152311). This designer paper has black and white images with Gold accents on some of the designs. The “honeycomb” paper was cut with the rectangle from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586) which will be available on 4th February. The beehive from the Honey Bee Stamp Set (#c151527) was stamped with So Saffron ink (#147109). “Happy Birthday” from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#c151595), was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#146956), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies (#151690). I used Basic Black card (#121688) for the bee and glued the body of the bee to the card with the Fine- I cut another bee from Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) and used the small pieces from the body which would normally be removed, and glued them in position of the black bee. Stampin Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach the sentiment and beehive. The bee and beehive were cut using the Detailed Bee Dies (#151526)

Enjoy your day whatever you are doing.

Honey Bee Bundle

Welcome friends,

I have just received the Honey Bee Bundle (#c153792) and had to immediately make a cake with it. We have a couple of bee hives so was excited when this set was in the catalogue. There is also Designer Series Paper - Golden Honey Specialty DSP (#152311) which is part of Sale-a-bration and co-ordinates with this bundle, however I haven’t used it on this card.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550) and Basic Black (#121688). I used Gold Foil Sheet (#132622) for the hexagons, Vellum (#106584) for the bee and I added this bee to a bee cut from Daffodil Delight card (#121680). All the images are from the Honey Bee stamp set (#c151527). For the flowers and leaves I applied Crushed Curry and Old Olive from the Regals Stampin’ Write Markers (#147155) before stamping. The bee was stamped with Jet Black StazOn ink (#101406). I coloured the body of the bee with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker as well as making the black a bit darker on the body using the Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker (#100082). I attached the stamped bee to a bee cut from Daffodil Delight card using Mini Glue Dots (#103683) then the bee was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I glued the flowers and hexagons with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). The card front was embossed with the Stone 3D embossing folder, part of the Power Of Hope Bundle (#152318) from Sale-a-bration. The sentiment was cut with a Stitched So Sweetly die (#151690), then matted with Basic Black card. The Detailed Bee Dies (#151526) were used to cut the bee, hexagons and flowers. The ribbon is Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon (#144146).

Enjoy whatever you are doing today - hopefully something crafty!!
