Shaded Summer

Hi everyone,

I have had some work done in my craft room recently and had to move most of my “stuff” so haven’t been able to access most it, so that’s why I have been missing some days lately. Hopefully everything will be back on track soon.

The stamp set used for the flower here is the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783).

This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was cut with a Summer Shadows Die (#156618).

The sentiment is from the new early release Framed Florets stamp set (#161815) and stamped with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214). The Handmade Tag Punch (#159690) was used to cut the sentiment.

I dry embossed the Orchid Oasis card (#159265) with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder (#156505) and this was matted with the Gold Foil (#132622).

I used one of the Split Card Textures Dies (#159162) to cut the Basic White card front (#159228). Then I added some Orchid Oasis ink with a Blending Brush (#153611) and then stamped the splotches with a stamp from the Quiet Meadow stamp set (#155082) with the same ink.

The Gold Foil leaves were cut with a Forever Flourishing die (#152714). The Gold foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The flowers & sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I also added some of the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766).

Shaded Summer stamp set

Hello friends,

I am continuing to highlight some of the retiring products again on this card.

I attached the Paper Lattice (#155697) using Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to the DSP from In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). This was then attached to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The stamped floral images are from the Shaded Summer stamp set ($155783). I stamped each image with Granny Apple Green Ink (#147095) and Mango Melody ink (#147093). I cut the images with the dies from the Summer Shadows dies which were from a previous Sale-a-bration. I fussy cut the flowers from the Mango Melody images and attached them on top of the flowers on the Granny Apple Green images with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Happy Birthday is also from the Shaded Summer stamp set and stamped with Mango Melody ink. A die from the Bloom Dies (#155989) was used to cut the sentiment. The embellishments are from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457) and attached to the flower centres.

The retiring products used are the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, Paper Lattice and the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Shaded Summer stamp set

Hi friend,

The stamp set used on this card is the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783). You may have been lucky enough to get the matching dies in a previous Sale-a-bration. However I have chosen not to use them on this card.

I stamped the floral image with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed this with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129156). The flowers were coloured with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (#154883) and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends (#154884). I used Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends (#154889) for the leaves. I cut this image and the Daffodil Delight card (#121680) with the Layering Diorama Dies (#155565).

I stamped the smaller floral image from the Shaded Summer stamp set on the Basic White card front (#159228) with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). I then coloured the background with a Blending Brush (#153611) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I dry embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718).

I cut the greenery using the Flowers Of Home dies (#157938). The Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334) before cutting with the dies. These were attached to the card and the Silver trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766). The matted card was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

“Best Wishes” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) and stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052). The Messages Die (#154422) was used to cut the sentiment and attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The beautiful Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130) were added to the card.

Shaded Summer

Hello crafty friends,

The White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) works well on darker coloured card like I have done here.

The floral image from Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) onto the Night Of Navy card (#106577), then sprinkled with the White Embossing Powder. This was set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then dry embossed this card with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder (#156406). The Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (#156494) was attached to the card front.

“Happy Birthday” is also from the Shaded Summer stamp set and stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). This Basic White card (#159228) and the Real Red card (#106578) under the sentiment were cut with Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690). I used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to attach the sentiment to the card. The white leaves under the sentiment were cut with the Summer Shadows Dies (which were from the last Sale-a-bration). These were glued to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). I added the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) to the flower centre and sentiment.

Shaded Summer stamp set

Hi ladies & guys,

These flowers are from the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783).

The flowers were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). These were cut with the Summer Shadows Dies which were available during Sale-a-bration. I coloured the flowers with Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends (#154884) and the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885).

The stitching on the Basic White card (#159228) was achieved with the Stitched Greenery Die (#155451). I cut the scallops on the Flirty Flamingo card (#141421) using a Scalloped Contours Die (#155560)

“Happy Birthday” from the Shaded Summer stamp set was stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink (#147052) and cut with an Ornate Frames Die (#150664). The flowers and sentiment were attached to the white card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

I made the bow using the White Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408) and attached this with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The embellishments are the Elegant Faceted Gems (#152464).

Shaded Summer stamp set

Hi again my friends,

Sale-a-bration continues till the 30th September, so don't miss out on some free products with each $90 order (in Australia). One of the products with $180 order is the Summer Shadows Dies (#156618) and these co-ordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) in the Annual catalogue.

I stamped the flowers from the Shaded Summer stamp set with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118) and Bumble Bee ink (#153116). I stamped the small leaves with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). These were all cut with the Summer Shadows dies.

The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (#155426) was attached to the Basic White base card (#159228). I cut the Bumble Bee card (#153082) and the Basic White card with the Stitched So Sweetly dies (#151690) and these were taped to the card front.

The Soft Succulent leaves were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the 2 floral images were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer stamp set and stamped with Bumble Bee ink. This was cut with a Tailor Made Tag (#155563). I threaded some of the Gold Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the tag and attached the tag to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Playing With Patterns Resin Dots (#152467) were added to the card.

Shaded Summer

Hello again my friends,

The Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) can be found in the Annual catalogue.  For those who love to have dies that co-ordinate with stamp sets, you will be excited to see there will be dies available as part of the Sale-a-bration products (with a $180 order) to match this set. These are the Summer Shadows Dies (#156618). As well as dies to cut the 2 floral images and the small branch in the stamp set, there are 8 other dies to cut flowers and leaves, so a great set to get.

The stitching around the Basic White card front (#159228) was done with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314). I then stamped one of the floral images from the Shaded Shadows stamp set with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Some images were stamped using the “Stamping off” method.

The other floral image was stamped with Mango Melody ink (#147093) using the Stamparatus (#148187). After cleaning the stamp and without moving it, I re-inked with VersaMark (#102283) and stamped over the original image. I then sprinkled this with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut it with the die from the Summer Shadows Dies.

The flower and leaves were also cut from this same die set. The leaves were cut from Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and the flower from Mango Melody card (#147013). I daubered the detailed cut-out of the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) and the flower with Mango Melody ink, to give a slightly darker colour. These detailed pieces were glued to the base flower and leaves using Fine- Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Shaded Summer stamp set and stamped with Mango Melody ink. A die from the Meadow Dies (#155852) cut the sentiment. The sentiment and flowers were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the leaves.

I added glimmer to the detailed parts of the flower and leaves using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) and added a Pearl Basic Jewel (#144219) to the flower centre.

I daubered the card front with Mango Melody ink before attaching it to the Basic White base card.

Sale-a-bration starts on 3rd August along with the new Mini catalogue. In the meantime there are specials on the following Designer Papers till 2nd August -

155841 - Beauty of the Earth - $17

Shaded Summer

Hello again my friends,

Life just seems to get a bit hectic, so apologies for the lack of cards recently.

Today’s card is using the Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) along with the Paper Lattice (#155697) for the background.

The cardstock is Very Vanilla (#106550). I attached the Paper Lattice to the card front with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The 2 floral images from the Shaded Summer stamp set were stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder from the Metallics pack (#155555) then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I fussy cut these stamped images and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends - Fresh Freesia (#155518), Polished Pink (#155520) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). These were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The sentiment is also from the Shaded Summer stamp set and I stamped this with Fresh Freesia ink (#155611), then it was cut with a die from the Meadow dies (#155852). The Gold Trim is from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) which also includes Silver Trim in the pack.

Stay safe and if you are in lockdown, I hope you can spend some time crafting!!
