Calm & Quiet stamp set

Hello & welcome,

This stamp is from a host set called Calm & Quiet (#161611).

I stamped the image twice with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). I cut part of one of the the images with a Nested Essentials die (#161597). I coloured the images with various Stampin’ Blends - Poppy Parade (#152958), Balmy Blue (#154803), Crumb Cake (#154882), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Pecan Pie (#161674), Lost Lagoon (#161680) & Soft Sea Foam (#154902).

A Stitched With Whimsey die (#155314) was used for the stitching around the card. The card front was matted with Poppy Parade card (#121694) then attached to the Basic White base card.

“Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050). The sentiment was also cut with a Nested Essentials die. The 2 pieces cut with these dies were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

In The Country from Saleabration

Hello again,

I have used the second image from the In The Country stamp set (#160828) from Sale-a-bration which is now underway.

I stamped this image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228) and coloured it with Stampin’ Blends. The colours I used are Crumb Cake (#154882), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Poppy Parade (#154958), Balmy Blue (#154830), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Soft Succulent (#155521), 700, 800 (#159463) & 300 (#159461) from the Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends.

Using a Small Blending Brush (#160518) I added the Balmy Blue ink (#147105) to the background. I used a Stitched With Whimsey Die (#155314) for the stitching around the edge. This was then matted with Poppy Parade card (#121694) and attached to the Basic White base card.

“Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Poppy Parade ink (#147050), then cut with a Potted Succulents Die (#154330). I lightly added Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) to the sentiment using a Small Blending Brush and attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

Dainty Delight Bundle

Hello again stamping friends,

The Dainty Flowers 12”x12” Designer Series Paper (#160834) is a Sale-a-bration product (with a $90 order) and it co-ordinates with the beautiful Dainty Delight Bundle (#160675). If you purchase this bundle you will be able to get the DSP to match for free.

I have used this DSP for the background. The “stitching” around the edge is achieved with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314). This was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) then attached to the Crushed Curry base card (#131288).

The floral images from the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) and coloured with Stampin’ Blends which include Old Olive (#154892), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Sweet Sorbet (#159224) and Orchid Oasis (#159223). The stamped images and the Gold Foil Brushed Metallic cardstock (#153524) were cut with the Dainty Delight Dies (#160674). The gold was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The stamped images were attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

“Thinking Of You” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. The ends of the sentiment were punched with the Happy Labels Pick A Punch (#160693). The edges were daubered with Crushed Curry ink (#147087), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The embellishments are from the Iridescent Pastel Gems (#160429).

Expressions Of Friendship

Hi friends,

In each catalogue you will find some products which you can earn as a host or by placing an individual order of $250 (in Australia). These are great value. The Expressions Of Friendship stamp set (#158460) is one of these from the Mini Catalogue.

I stamped this beautiful image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). The tree trunk was coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends (#153882) and the leaves with Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends (#154885). For the grass I used Old Olive Stampin’ Blends (#154892) and the swing seat was 600 (#159462)- one of the new Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends. There are 10 different skin tones available numbered 100-1000.

The dress was coloured with Polished Pink SB (#155520) and the hair with 400 of Natural tones SB (#159461) and Ivory SB (#154922). I lightly coloured the background with Pool Party ink (#147107) using a Blending Brush (#153611) and the tree with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095).

I used a Stitched With Whimsy die (#155314) to create the “stitching” on the card. “Happy Birthday” is also from the same stamp set and stamped with Polished Pink ink (#155712). I used a Hippo & Friends die (#153585) to cut the sentiment and attached it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The card front was matted with Polished Pink card (#155711), then attached to the Basic White base card. The Pebble Enamel Shapes (#158141) were placed on the card.

Shaded Summer

Hello again my friends,

The Shaded Summer stamp set (#155783) can be found in the Annual catalogue.  For those who love to have dies that co-ordinate with stamp sets, you will be excited to see there will be dies available as part of the Sale-a-bration products (with a $180 order) to match this set. These are the Summer Shadows Dies (#156618). As well as dies to cut the 2 floral images and the small branch in the stamp set, there are 8 other dies to cut flowers and leaves, so a great set to get.

The stitching around the Basic White card front (#159228) was done with the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314). I then stamped one of the floral images from the Shaded Shadows stamp set with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102). Some images were stamped using the “Stamping off” method.

The other floral image was stamped with Mango Melody ink (#147093) using the Stamparatus (#148187). After cleaning the stamp and without moving it, I re-inked with VersaMark (#102283) and stamped over the original image. I then sprinkled this with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155554) and set it with the Heat Tool (#129056). I cut it with the die from the Summer Shadows Dies.

The flower and leaves were also cut from this same die set. The leaves were cut from Soft Sea Foam card (#147012) and the flower from Mango Melody card (#147013). I daubered the detailed cut-out of the leaves with Soft Sea Foam ink (#147102) and the flower with Mango Melody ink, to give a slightly darker colour. These detailed pieces were glued to the base flower and leaves using Fine- Tip Glue Pen (#138309).

“Happy Birthday” is from the Shaded Summer stamp set and stamped with Mango Melody ink. A die from the Meadow Dies (#155852) cut the sentiment. The sentiment and flowers were all attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). Mini Glue Dots (#103683) were used to attach the leaves.

I added glimmer to the detailed parts of the flower and leaves using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) and added a Pearl Basic Jewel (#144219) to the flower centre.

I daubered the card front with Mango Melody ink before attaching it to the Basic White base card.

Free As A Bird

Hello again my friends,

I love these cute little birds from the Free As A Bird stamp set (#149468) which I have coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the birds and the flower using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends used to colour these images are Poppy Parade (#154958), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Pool Party (#154894), Pale Papaya (#155519), Fresh Freesia (#155518), Granny Apple Green (#154885) and Crumb Cake (#154882). 

I used a die from the Stitched With Whimsey Dies (#155314) to add the stitching to the Whisper White card front (#159228). This was attached to the Granny Apple Green card (#147014). The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (#151585) and cut with a Meadow Die (#155852). I threaded the Gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) through the label and wrapped it around the card.  The sentiment was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). 

The leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set (#152559) were stamped with Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) and cut with a die from the Forever Flourishing dies (#152714). These were attached the the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The flower was fussy cut, then attached to the card.

The Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) was used to add some glitter to the birds. The red embellishment is from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#150457).

Stitched With Whimsy Dies

Hi,

The stitching on the Basic White card (#159228) and the Bermuda Bay card (#131286) is achieved with the Stitched With Whimsy Dies (#155314).

However these dies don’t actually cut, they only do the stitching. As I wanted to cut the card parallel to the stitching, rather than just a rectangular card, I lightly marked around the outside of die onto the card with a pencil, then cut the pieces, then used the die to do the stitching. 

I stamped the butterflies from the Floating & Fluttering stamp set (#154424) onto the White “stitched” card, using the Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I coloured the images with a variety of Stampin’ Blends - Calypso Coral (#154881), Daffodil Delight (#154883), Mango Melody (#154888), Bermuda Bay (#154878), Pool Party (#154894), Night Of Navy (#154891) and Granny Apple Green (#154885).

After colouring, I cut the butterfly image with a Fluttering Die (#154318). These are cut in one piece with the one die. I attached the Bermuda Bay card & Basic White card to the Basic White base card, then attached the cut out butterflies with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) above where I had cut them out.

“Birthday Wishes” is from the Butterfly Wishes stamp set (#149346) and stamped with Bermuda Bay ink (#147096). I used the Messages Die (#154422) to cut the sentiment and this was also attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly I added the Flowers For Every Season Gems (#153645) to the body of one butterfly and to the card.
