Happy Hibiscus Bundle

Hi again friends,

The Happy Hibiscus Bundle (#164880) consists of the Happy Hibiscus stamp set (#164877) and the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164879). The hybrid embossing folder also includes the dies which co-ordinate with the stamp set and embossing folder, which allows you to cut and embossing the flowers at the same time.

I matted the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (#163303) with Highland Heather card (#147010) and attached it to the Basic White base card (#159228).

The Highland Heather hibiscus flowers were cut and embossed with the Hybrid Embossing Folder. I added glimmer to the flowers with the Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897).

The leaves from the Happy Hibiscus stamp set were stamped with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097). The inside of the leaves were stamped using the stamping off method for a lighter image. These were then cut with the Happy Hibiscus dies.

“Happy Birthday” from the Unbounded Love stamp set (#163378) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099). The 2 circles were cut with the Spotlight On Nature dies (#163580). The circles were taped to the card. The leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The beautiful embellishments are the Two-Tone Sparkle Gems (#164633).

Happy Hibiscus

Hi friends,

The Happy Hibiscus Bundle (#164880) consists of the Happy Hibiscus stamp set (#164877) and the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164879). All the Stampin’ Up! hybrid folders includes the embossing folder as well as the dies. One of the dies fits into the embossing folder allowing you to cut and embossing at the same time.

Firstly, using one of the Linked Together Decorative Masks (#164809), I blended the Summer Splash ink (#163809) using a Blending Brush (#153611) onto the Basic White card (#159228). Using another mask and using a Palette Knife (#142808) I applied Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) on top. This needs to be set aside till it dries. If this is done first, it should be dry by the time you do all the other elements.

I stamped the image with the 3 flowers onto Real Red card (#106578) using Cherry Cobbler ink (#147083). I then placed the die into the embossing folder and line up the stamped image and cut & embossed it. The 3 flowers are cut into individual flowers. I have only used the 2 larger ones on this card. The leaves are cut with dies from the same dies using Summer Splash card (#163798).

I stamped the label with a stamp from the Bright Borders stamp set (#164753) using Summer Splash ink. “Happy Birthday” from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714) was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). This was then punched with the co-ordinating To The Point Label Punch (#164568).

Once the card front had dried, I matted it with the Summer Splash card and then Real Red card and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The flowers and sentiment were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) for the leaves. Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) added glimmer to the flowers.

Pastel Ombre Glimmer Specialty Paper

Hello friends,

The Pastel Ombre Glimmer 12”x12” Specialty Paper (#164851) has been used for the flowers & leaves on today’s card. I love the ombre effect on the colours on each sheet.

The flowers were cut & embossed using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164879). These hybrid folders includes the embossing folder as well as the dies. In this set, one die can be located into the embossing folder to cut & emboss 3 flowers at one time. The leaves were cut with other dies in the same set.

I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Plaster Painting Embossing Folder (#164656), then matted it with Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). This was attached to the Basic White base card.

“Best Wishes” from Layering Leaves stamp set (#161277) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and punched with the To The Point Label Punch (#164568).

The sentiment and flowers were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the leaves were attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins (#164970) from Sale-a-bration were attached to finish the card.

Happy Hibiscus Bundle

Hello friends,

Another sneak peek from the upcoming release of the Online Exclusives on 5th November. This Bundle is the Happy Hibiscus Bundle (#164880) which includes the Happy Hibiscus stamp set (#164877) and the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid Embossing Folder (#164879). The Hybrid folders consists of the embossing folder and dies which can be used separately or together.

I stamped the outlines of the flowers with Real Red ink (#147084), then I stamped the inside with Real Red ink “stamped off” to achieve the lighter colour. I then cut and embossed the flowers with the die & embossing folder.

The leaves are also cut with the dies. I used Granny Apple Green card (#147014) and Lemon Lime Twist card (#144250).

“Congratulations” is from the same stamp set and stamped with Real Red ink. A die from Happy Hibiscus dies was used to cut the sentiment.

The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the embossing folder and matted with Real Red card (#106578). This was taped to the Basic White base card.

The flowers & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I used Mini Glue dots (#103683) to attach the leaves . Wink Of Stella (#141897) was used to add glimmer to the flowers.
