Balloon Celebration

Hi everyone,

After doing a week with various Designer Series Paper cards, I thought this week I would concentrate on kids cards. (Still have used a DSP) I don’t make a lot of children’s cards so time to make a few. This could really be given to anyone of any age.

I mounted the Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (#144118) onto a piece of Basic Black card (#121688), which was then attached to the Whisper White base card (#106549). I stamped the strings for the balloons with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). These strings and the balloons are from the Balloon Celebration stamp set (#p140675) The balloons are stamped with Lemon Lime Twist (#144086), Real Red (#126949), Tempting Turquoise (#126952), Pumpkin Pie (#126945) and Garden Green (#126973) inks. The balloons were then punched with the Balloon Bouquet punch (#140609). I adhered a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet (#144106) to the back of the Tempting Turquoise card (#108598) before cutting 3 Happy Birthdays with the Happy Birthday Thinlits (#143700). These were mounted on top of each other. Then I inked the Happy Birthday with VersaMark (#102283) and added Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109130), which I then heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then added another layer of VersaMark and Emboss Powder. This gives a beautiful shine to the Greeting.
