I have used some “old” and “new” products on this card. The new catalogue is live tomorrow (1st June) and as I love butterflies couldn’t resist using this gorgeous one from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits (#146326).
I cut the butterfly from the (retiring) Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (#144118) as well as Basic Black card (#121688) and attached these together with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment is from the Cake Soirée stamp set (#c145745, #w145521) and stamped with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) on Whisper White card (#106549). I punched this with the 1-3/8” Scallop Circle (#146139), then the Basic Black circle was cut with a die from the Layering Circles Framelits (#141705). I used the Pretty Label punch (#143715) for the DSP and Basic Black under the circles. The base card is Crushed Curry (#131288). I embossed on the Whisper White card front using a die from the Petals & More thinlits (#145655). This is achieved by using the new Big Shot Embossing Mat (#146327). This allows you to use your detailed dies for embossing as well as cutting. I added splotches to the background using the Clear Wink Of Stella Brush (#141897) and Crushed Curry ink on an Aqua Painter (#103954). I finished the card by adding sequins from the Iridescent Assortment (#144212) to the butterfly and the card front.
