Brilliant Wings Dies

Hello friends,

The Brilliant Wings Dies (#155523) has a variety of butterflies and the butterfly here is cut with one of these dies.

I used the Ombre Specialty Paper (#155784) for the butterfly. I stamped the verse & the leaves from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) onto the Basic White card front (#159228).  I used Crumb Cake ink (#147116) for the verse & Granny Apple Green ink (#147095) for the leaves. Then using a Blending Brush (#153611) I coloured the right side of the card front with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). I dry embossed the left side with the Stripes from the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders (#157980). The card front was matted with Granny Apple Green card (#147014), then attached to the Basic White base card.

The sentiment is from the Special Moments stamp set (from saleabration) and stamped with Granny Apple Green ink. I cut this with a Tailor Made Tags die (#155563). The gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim (#155766) was threaded through the tag. The sentiment and butterfly was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

Being a butterfly lover I couldn’t resist adding the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) to finish the card.

Very Versailles & masking technique

Hi stamping friends,

I have been using the masking technique again on this card.

I used the larger heart from the Bouquet Of Love Dies (#157641) to cut a piece of scrap card and a piece of photocopy paper. This can be done at the same time. These were used for the masks. I placed the piece of scrap card with the heart cut out onto the Basic White card front (#159228). I used Polished Pink ink (#155712) and a Blending Brush (#153611) to create the heart. I removed the scrap card and replaced it with the photocopy paper as this is thinner and is a better mask when stamping. (See below).  I stamped the verse from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) with Crumb Cake ink (#147116) on top of the heart.

Then I placed the heart from the photocopy paper over the pink heart and stamped the foliage also from the Very Versailles stamp set onto the card with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104).

Next I dry embossed the card front with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (#152718), then matted it with Polished Pink card (#155711) and attached it to the Basic White base card.

The smallest heart was cut with a Sweet Heart die (#157623) and the other heart with a die from Bouquet Of Love. I used Polished Pink card for both these hearts. Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) were used to attach the larger heart to the card and a Mini Glue Dot (#103683) for the small heart.  The Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (#158068) was attached to the card front. “Happy Anniversary” from Elegantly Said stamp set (#155095) was stamped with Polished Pink ink and cut with another die from Bouquet Of Love, then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430).

The embellishments are the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#158130).

TIP: When stamping & dry embossing the card front, stamp first then emboss. If you emboss first you won’t get a good stamped image because of the uneven surface.

Eden’s Garden

Hi my crafty friends,

The Eden’s Garden Collection (#160849) is an early release product which will be available from 2nd November and some of the products will be then available in the mini catalogue in January. An advantage of being a demonstrator is the you can access these products in advance, so if you would like that opportunity just contact me.

I have used a couple of the products on this card and combined them with some of my other favourite products.

The leaves in the background are from the Eden’s Garden stamp set (#157823) and stamped with Mint Macaron ink (#147106). The “verse” from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) was stamped with Just Jade ink (#153115). The Basic White card front (#159228) was the dry embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (#156505). This was matted with Just Jade card (#153084), then I wrapped the Gold Shimmer Ribbon (#152156) around the card. This was attached to the Basic White base card.

The butterfly was cut with a die from the Brilliant Wings dies (#155523) using the gold from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (#156844). This was attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

The sentiment is also from the Eden’s Garden stamp set and stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555), then set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I used a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies (#152886) to cut the sentiment. The Just Jade card under the sentiment was cut with a Warm Wraps Die (#153521) and Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) were used to attach this to the card.

The gold leaves were cut using a die from the Eden Dies (#157831) from the Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. I used Mini Glue Dots (#103683) to attach the leaves. The beautiful gems are the Garden Gems (#159277) which are part of the Eden’s Garden collection.

You will see more of these products used here over the next few weeks.

Very Versailles

Hello friends,

I thought I would challenge myself today and make a card with just stamping. As you would know, I love to use embossing powders, dry embossing, dies, embellishments and anything with a bit of sparkle, so I find it very difficult to just stamp. Here is my card.

The card stock is Whisper White (#106549). All the images are from the Very Versailles stamp set (#c149275). The inks I used are Bumble Bee (#153116) for the leaves, sentiment and border,  Just Jade (#153115) for the fancy frame with the sentiment and the border, and Soft Sea Foam (#147102) for the script background.
The edges of the card front were sponged with Bumble Bee ink before attaching it to the base card.

So yes, a very quick and simple stamping card.

Have a fabulous day!!

Butterfly Beauty Sampler

Welcome friends,

I have used so many of my favourite products and colours in this sampler that I have made for a friend who has just moved into her new home. I think I will have to make another one for myself. I just need to put this into a frame.

The base is from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (#152494). The other cardstock I have used is Whisper White (#106549), Gorgeous Grape (#147011), Granny Apple Green (#147014), Vellum (#106584) and Brass Foil Sheets (#153057).
The stamp sets are Very Versailles (#c149275), A Little Lace (#c149364), Forever Fern (#152559), Free As A Bird (#c149468), Daisy Lane (#c149325), Positive Thoughts (#c151490) and Quite Curvy (#154430).
The inks used are Granny Apple Green (#147095), Gorgeous Grape (#147011), Tuxedo Black Memento Ink (#132708) and VersaMark (#102283) with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132).
The birds and floral images were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Highland Heather (#154887), Purple Posy (#154896), Granny Apple Green (#154885), Crumb Cake (#154882) and Mango Melody (#154888).
The dies used were  Butterfly Beauty (#151819), Natures Thoughts (#153586), Forever Flourishing (#152714), Stitched Rectangles (#151820)  and Curvy Dies (#154319.
The punch for the Daisies is the Medium Daisy punch (#149517).
I used the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder (#151801) under the butterflies and the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (#152725) under the birds. I used one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders (#153126) on the bottom left and right rectangles under the leaves.
I made the bow with the 3/8” Tricolor Ribbon (#149708) and the embellishments are the Gilded Gems (#152478). I added some sparkle using the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897) to the birds and flowers.
The adhesives used were the Adhesive Sheets (#152334), Mini Glue Dots (#103683), Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108).

I am having a crafty weekend and I hope you are too!!

Beautiful World Masculine Card

Hi again,

When a new catalogue arrives with lots of new products, it’s sometimes easy to forget about some of the “old” stamp sets, so I have combined “old” & new stamp sets in this masculine card. These “old” sets are still of course available in the current catalogue.

I stamped the frame from the Swirly Frames stamp set (#p146519) with Misty Moonlight ink (#153118). The Scripty verse is from the Very Versailles stamp set (#c149275) and stamped with Smokey Slate ink (#147113). I cut this Whisper White card with a Stitched Rectangles Die (#151820). Both the world map and the sentiment are from the Beautiful World stamp set (#c152994) and I used Misty Moonlight ink to stamp them. These were then cut with one of the Layering Circles Dies (#151770). The Bronze card from the Brushed Metallic 12”x12” cardstock was dry embossed with the Old World Paper 3D embossing Folder (#152725). The Brushed Metallic card pack includes Bronze, Copper & Gold and all have a beautiful brushed finish.

Have a crafty day!!

Very Versailles stamp set

Hi everyone,

I have used 2 of my favourite things on this card - butterflies and purple.

I stamped the leafy branch from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) onto the Designer Series Paper from In Good Taste (#152494). The DSP was matted with Highland Heather card (#147010).  I wrapped the 3/8” Tricolor Ribbon (#149708) around the card front before it was attached to the Whisper White card base (#106549). The sentiment and border image are both from Very Versailles stamp set. I used Highland Heather ink (#147103) and Smokey Slate ink (#147113). I punched this with the Posted For You punch (#152709) and then attached it to a piece of Highland Heather card. The sentiment was then attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The butterflies are from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (#151490) and cut with the co-ordinating die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (#153586). I used VersaMark (#102283) and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109131) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I coloured the butterflies with Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends (#154887). Stampin Dimensioanls were used to attach the butterflies and I added the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220) to the butterflies and sentiment.

It’s the weekend already. Where do the weeks go?

Very Versailles

Hello everyone,

The images on this card are from the Very Versailles stamp set (#c149275).

I stamped the script image using Crumb Cake ink (#121685) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550). Then using VersaMark (#102283) I stamped the branch, and added the Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#10929) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). I then used the Stitched Nested Dies (#149638) to cut the 2 “labels” from the centre of the card. I attached the outside of the Very Vanilla card onto the Pretty Peacock base card (#150886). The next cutout piece was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) and the middle piece was attached directly onto the base card. The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink (#150083) and also cut with a Stitched Nested Die. The embellishments are the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots (#149607). The ribbon is Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon (#149751).

Well the weekend is here already, so enjoy!

Very Versailles

Hello,

My original plan for this card was just black and white, but then decided it would be great to add some red.

I embossed the Whisper White base card (#106549) with the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (#152321). The script image from the Very Versailles stamp set (#149275) was stamped with Smokey Slate ink (#147113). The branch from the same stamp set was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The fancy border was stamped with Real Red ink (#147084). I stamped the butterfly from Butterfly Gala stamp set (#148580) on Real Red card (#106578). This was stamped with VersaMark (#102283) and embossed with Shimmer Black Emboss Powder (#149512) and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). The butterfly was punched with the Butterfly Duet punch (#148523) and attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Thanks” is cut with a die from the Well Written Dies (#148534) from Real Red card and glued with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#146924) were added to the card and butterfly to add a bit of bling.

Have a great day.
